Tried to sell 2 figures to them both combined was around 150$ which was shown last sold online,…read morethey were only offering store credit and was only going to give me 60 dollars for both figures which is less than 40%!!! Most other business give 60% towards store credit so stay away from Retro loot if u have trade ins u will lose money!!

This has become my 10-year-old son's favorite retro store. We have visited about 10 times since…read morediscovering it this past summer. It has very good pricing and a great selection of games and consoles. Consoles generally range from the Atari VCS (2600) to seventh generation (360, DS, Wii, PS3). Consoles come with one controller and the attachments needed to hook the system up to a TV. The console software is pretty extensive, starting with the NES and running up through 7th gen. Most of the handheld is Gameboy and DS. Once again, their selection is rather well rounded. Some of the more premium titles are located in the display case back by the register. There are also some rare curiosities in the collection that were pleasant surprises ( I never expected to see a full catalog of Virtual Boy software on display anywhere ). Something to be aware of is that any retro purchases can sometimes not work out. We have had one GBA cart and an XBOX cd fail to start when trying out the software at home. The store has a very generous return policy. I believe as long as you bring back the title within 10, they will accept returns and exchanges. The staff is very friendly and will always try to help out. In our cases, the store gave us a direct exchange on the scratched XBOX disc after trying to repair it instore, and a full refund for the GBA game. The store also has other typical collections (Trading Card Games, Funko Pops and other figurines). These are not my area of expertise, so I can't comment on the selection or prices. Several arcade machines are set on free-to-play mode at the store entrance to round out the experience. If vintage video games are your thing, then Retro Loot is definitely worth checking out.

If you are considering to go this location to sell rare or secret rare Pokemon cards. PLEASE PLEASE…read moremake sure you do research of their value on TCG Player. First time I went in I was given a pretty fair offer, then it got lower and lower. I did my research and went off the low price listed keeping in mind that I knew they also had to make a profit. I feel like the workers thought I didn't what my cards were worth. Also I'm not a card player I'm a collector so the second I pull a rare it goes straight into a sleeve. All I'm trying to say is please be careful before going in either look up the value through TCG player or take someone in with you who knows about Pokemon cards.

This is one of the only retro-newer video game stores in the area, let alone downtown. Recently,…read morethey have done a total renovation of the store which now is way more spacious: new paint, hardwood floors, and cleaner fixtures and showcases. The atmosphere used to be pretty close-quarters, but after the renovations and facelift, is really modern and clean. This place is also nestled in a crowded part of the downtown historic district which is cool, and during summer months and spring moths has a variety of happenings and events, which makes the trip even more worth it. As far as the employees- they can be rough, but very helpful and accommodating, plus they buy old video games and give you cash- offering more than what you would get anywhere else especially at the mall or at a corporate chain. As a local business to be that helpful and paying that much guaranteeing to beat a corporate chain? Is incredible. Well done - they also have other locations in this area which I will stop by as well while I am in my hometown.

Incredible but there's an obvious reason why they've been so well received. Stopped into the Richland location while seeing my Bonka Gigi in Johnstown two weeks ago and even though it's no their best- it's got that home town hipster feel to it where the employees play and live for games more than anyone that would come in. The guy working with the glasses Ronnie? helped me and gave me some idea on new gen games and even though I have one he gave me a nice run down of the pros and cons of getting a Switch. I know they are there to make money but the fact he took the time to talk and give his honest assessment, was really appreciated. if I want a switch I'll go to one of their stores closer to me. Thanks Ronnie for your time!

They have everything from the current generation consoles all the way back to the Atari. The associate I talked to was very friendly and helpful and the prices are great. They regularly have sales and specials that makes it even cheaper. They are very quick to answer your Facebook messages on any questions you may have. They will happily order items they don't have from other stores as well. If you're looking for great deals on games and accessories old and new then this is the place for you.
