Absolutely amazing experience! I highly recommend these guys. I brought my car in because my speakers just weren't up to par anymore. The sound was crackling and didn't sound nearly as good as it should have. They took the time to diagnose the issue, explained everything clearly, and ended up installing new speakers and a new head unit. The difference is incredible. My audio system sounds so much better now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What really impressed me was how fast they were. I called one day, they got me in the very next morning, and had everything finished the same day. Not a great experience! Used this company for several repairs. Took my vehicle because my dash display stated it needed to be repaired. After being "patched up" was advised to order an entire assembly costing us over $1200.00. After finally having my vehicle returned and paid for guess what was still ON (as if I never brought the vehicle in for repair)... Yup the SAME display stating lights needed to be repaired. After speaking with management and them collecting my money was THEN told..., "Oh well we thought that would fix the problem but didn't". Come to find out they'd order the SAME exact equipment i'd already purchased. When asked about a refund was told to refer to corporate. I DO NOT advise using this company! Particularly the ANTIOCH location. Staff was rude and did NOT provide the satisfactory service promised. read more

For the last 4 weeks, Cartronics of Hickory Hollow was the newest honorary member of my family. I went in for a quote for some work needed for one of my cars after visiting a competitor who never responded. I was not aware that this location existed but happy that I was referred to check them out. While writing this I can say I have no regrets. The team was very patient with me as I asked questions about the work I needed done, complexities as well as project completion timelines. Tyler and Ben were both very professional throughout my whole installation. I loved that Tyler was more excited about my emblem than me, he was like a kid in a candy store! I also appreciated that they pointed out that my filters needed to be changed and both gentleman actually saved me money by not going to the dealership to get them replaced, they provided me where to go purchase them that was less expensive and Ben put my filters in for me. I can't at 9 o'clock to get my gf car tinted in her birthday. While I came in there was 5 men standing there. I had to wait 15 minutes for one younger male to get off the phone so I can get assistance. Then the man makes me wait 7 minutes for him to tell me the man that dies the tint isn't here and will be here later. I get in the car to go back to work and the guy runs to the car saying they won't be ahow to tint the car. So I went back in and tried to schedule it in Saturday since me and her both work M-F in the mornings. But I had to wait 5 minutes to the man to tell me they wont so I just rather spend my money at another Establishment. I'll never go back to cartronics in Antioch read more

So i called them the day before to get a quote, their district manager answers and we have a detailed conversation about the install and he brags about how many of the same install in my model Porsche that he has done. I show up the next day and the manager isn't there, but the guy says I remember you calling yesterday. He then says he can't find the quote and that it will be $300+ more than what was quoted. I'm convinced I got the I"black man in a nice car quote" this type of blatant BS has to stop!!! I then go to a competitor and they quote me the same amount that the CarTronics manager quoted me. I'd tried this place before and had a good experience so I went back to the same Cartronics location and this time it was ridiculously horrible. I brought my my jeep in for a simple auxiliary light install. I'd already installed a switch pod. They didn't even have to mount the lights, cuz I didn't have the brackets yet. All they had to do was run 2 sets of wires from the engine bay to the front of the jeep. Only reason I couldn't do it is because my hands are still healing. It should've taken 30-45 minutes. No no no sir. First time they brought out my jeep they'd done THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT ID ASKED THEM TO DO. (Tie two wires into one of the switches then run the wires to the grill) But they decided to do what they wanted. Second time time they brought it out they left the engine bay looking like a rats nest of wires. Mind you I've already been there 3 1/2 hours. I told the technician it looked like sh*t. Dude got offended and walked off. Finally I guess a manager gets involved, I think Kendall was his name. Thank goodness for him. He had to show his tech how to do his job. It took an hour after that to finish it up. After I was told and quoted 2 hrs labor. 4 1/2 hours later it was done. Still looked like crap and was unfinished but at that point I was done. I had explained exactly what I wanted even showed the desk guy the instructions for the install. Yet the tech did whatever he wanted and told me " thats how I install light wiring". 200 plus dollars for unfinished and bullsh*t work. I won't go back there. I suggest you avoid that place. Oh and they damaged the paint on a couple parts of my jeep. That place fuck#ing sucks. They do sh#t work and charge top dollar for it. Be aware, these guys talk a big game and sound knowledgeable but they're not. Only one worth a dam is that guy Kendall. Stay away. Stay far away from Cartronics in Antioch. read more

I moved to the area last year...I had an after market sound system installed in my car back in Los Angeles...but somehow the battery is always dying in my SMART car and forcing me to reset my SiriusXM tuner. My brother used to do it for me when we lived near each other...but I have no one to help me now. I know how easy it was to do by seeing my brother do it, and I cant tell you how many Car Audio places took advantage of a girl coming in alone asking for help. One place in Los Angeles once charged me $60 for a 3 minute job....but I was desperate and had to pay it. Last year I came to Cartronics and the manager came out, pulled out the face of my radio and reset my tuner in a couple of minutes. I offered him money and he refused to take it. I was so impressed that they didn't try to take advantage of me. Cut to today...I have been using my bluetooth instead of my SiriusXM for months because I dreaded going somewhere and being disappointed by humanity again by someone trying to take advantage of me again. I was running an errand near Cartronics today and decided to go by after my good experience with them last year. I was lucky enough to meet Chip and Mike. They came out and showed me exactly what I had to do to remove the face and do it myself in the future...then Chip had a great idea and decided to try the reset button without having to remove the radio. Mike went inside and got a paperclip...they reset my radio in 5 seconds. All I have to do is set my favorite stations again. ARE YOU KIDDING? I have had this radio for years. My own brother, who is a sound engineer, didn't even know about this easy fix. I was literally going to call and cancel my SiriusXM subscription today because I was so over paying for something I could never use. This might sound stupid to some, but this is a huge deal for me. Honesty and good customer service are a rare find. I will definitely come to Cartronics when I get my next car and want to upgrade the radio. They didn't have to help me...and yet they did. These guy's are jerks if you use a group on. They will make you wait til the very last even if your the first one there. I got my money back and went on nolensville road where I got the remote start done in 2 hrs. and way cheaper...honest nice guys at audio sound...heck with cartronics, I will NEVER go there!! I went for a remote start I bought for $199.00 and spent another $160. was treated like crap telling me to read my "Groupon" fine print!! I planned on tint and stereo down the line but never use them for anything!! read more

I've had two poor experiences now with Cartronics. On my first visit, then I'll ended up being 50% more than what I was quoted. Since the install, my cigarette lighter does not work, and the radio antenna was left disconnected. On my second visit to address a repair, I stood in line for 30 minutes while Ben, the sales rep working the desk, did not so much as address me, nor the three customers behind me, while delivering a half-hour sales pitch to the customer ahead of me. The party behind me because frustrated and consulted the manager, who advised them that Ben would be right with us. 15 or so more minutes went by before someone else stepped out from the back and began addressing customers. I will not be back to Cartronics for the poor service and unprofessional attitude. read more

I took my car here, for an amp install with equipment I took out of my previous car. After reading many positive reviews, I decided I would try this place out. Being new to this side of Nashville, I wanted a place that did high quality work. On my initial visit, I got a quote from the store manager Tyler. The quote seemed a little high for having everything provided, but I assumed you pay for quality, so I was okay with it (and I didn't want to spend the time finding the accessory power). He confirmed they would be using the high level inputs to connect it to the factory stereo. I scheduled my appointment for the next day and was actually able to get in a little sooner than my appointment time. While they were installing the system, they told me they would need a line output converter (to convert to RCA). They said no problem we keep them in stock and grabbed on and headed back to install. Now keep in mind the original quote by the manager said they would be able to use the high level inputs. I also had this hooked up in my previous car with the high level inputs and it worked just fine. They did not ask me if this is something I would be okay with they just did it. I ignored this, having priced line output converters before, I knew they were relatively cheap and ultimately the better way for the install. After my car was finished, I walked up to the counter to pay the bill which is now 50% more expensive than my original quote (a line converter apparently is expensive). I do sales and estimating for a living and if I were to quote something, I am expected to stand by that price and if I make an error my company is responsible for the cost. Apparently, that is not the same for this company. What makes it worse is I got confirmation that they would be using the high level input before I came in! Let's talk about the install now. I got in the car to drive home and I heard no change from what my factory radio sounded before. I was already just ready to get away from that place and decided I would just take a look at it when I got home. When I got home I initially checked the wiring. I made sure the amp had power and that everything was working which it was. As I said before, I have already had this hooked up in a previous car (same model different years). Turned out to be an easy fix they just turned the amp all the way down. Further inspecting the job done now, because I am unhappy at this point, let me see what my money paid for. I popped the hood and initially I am impressed. I see the cable is heat wrapped and the run looks nice. Then I get inside my car. Look to see where it comes in next to the wiring harness and it looks like it has some silicone around it which is nice. I am then looking at the giant section of the insulation that runs from under my carpet and up my the firewall. Where there should have been a small cut hole, being you can feel where the wire harness comes through, there is this giant opening about the size of a children's basketball. This whole was not cut open either with nice edges, it looks like it was shredded by a bear. At this point I'm done expecting there work because I don't want any more disappointments. I would not recommend going here unless you really have no other options. read more

Excellent knowledge of their profession, they wired a rear camera on my C5 Vette, Tyler knew exactly where to go and what to do. Very courteous and professional. He took time to explain what he was doing, and that is important to me. He charged a fair price, and on a second follow-up visit he took care of me on a "no charge" basis (that was VERY nice of him, it was something I should have paid for and indeed I was willing to pay, but he insisted it was gratis). Had an apponitment for 9 am (when they open). dropped off my car before then and left a voicemail letting them know where key was so they could start working on car. called back at 10:30 to make sure they got started and was told they havent even moved it yet and they dont usually get around to checking the voicemails. was then told they were gonna start on it then and was pulling it in and wouldbe ready around 1. I said ok and to call me when it was ready and if there were any problems call and give me an update as i had plans in the afternoon. called back at 1 to see if it was ready and was then told they havent even got started on it yet and did not know when it would be ready. these guys have no respect for others peoples time. i have wasted a whole saturday without a car and am out 2 uber rides backand forth dropping car off and picking up. complete lack of customer service and consideration for customers. read more

It's is sad that I'm writing a bad review, the first time I went to this store I had a good experience "except for the fact that it took them 8 hours and me sitting in the store for my Truck to be completed. (Visor tint, rehook up on LED underneath) But I felt that they had done a great job so I felt they were trustworthy. I'm new to the area and needed to find a place that I could trust, I have a lot I need done. Well fast forward to my new experience. I paid up front for the lights to be put on and the guy had stated "it was an estimated time and likely would receive money back", but I'm being told I will still owe 129 when I pick up my vehicle. That will be 600 for lights that cost me 280 "really" then I asked about tint "first off the tint guy was not thrilled to have to do it and stated that they better have put enough time in the cost to cover it especially since it was the last day for cost/time" I'm guessing for his pay check, "so for re tint the price will come out to around 500" (not happening). All in all they have good prices on their products but rip you off on the install. 85 an hour. Wonder why they take longer. Longer equals more money. I could see if this was a custom job but these are items that should be easily priced with install. I can say that there are a couple of guys there that are very nice but I can't say as much for the tint guy nor the person who seemed like the manager. I've never been told well you agreed with it according to my screen and the tint price is what it is. Could have done a better job of being a manger and actually taken me aside and asked what I felt the issue was and it could have been settled there and then. I'm very disappointed and now I have to find another location for the rest of my upgrades. read more
