I didn't use their services, however, I'd reached out because my radio had stopped working. I started off by letting them know that my factory radio had stopped working. I was asking about them being able to troubleshoot the radio issues and off the bat, he went into sell mode. He then stated that they don't "repair" and only sell. Which is weird because many people had recommended them for their radio expertise and repairs. He again, stated that he didn't they don't make repairs, but then attempted to sell me a radio in excess of $1000.00 and I knew then this wasn't the business that I wanted, since I wasn't in the market for a radio and wanted to see options of repairing prior to replacing. Let me start by saying that Jason at Street Sounds in Nashville is a patient and good man. My daughter had an issue with her car at an oil change facility in town (Nashville), where things went extremely bad as they made a mistake that could have been catastrophic to the car's engine. They also disconnected the battery cable from the battery and evidently, that reset the car's (RAV4 2002) very old aftermarket security alarm. The alarm system kept activating the audible alarm and the car would not start. As she is traveling across the country, this all could not have happened at a worse time! I will spare some of the details regarding just how bad the day was. Suffice it to say, it was like a snowball rolling downhill gathering more and more snow. I looked up local alarm shops in Nashville, I am in California, and I came across Jason who was very willing to listen and help try to diagnose the problem over the phone. Jason understood the stress my daughter was under and he patiently worked with her and I over the phone in an attempt to resolve the problem with the alarm system. We eventually had the car taken to Jason's shop that same day and he was able to quickly fix things so that my daughter could get back on the road. I feel very blessed that we came across Jason and Street Sounds as they are honest, empathetic and trustworthy. He cared about a good outcome and made all the difference in helping to get to that end. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Jason. My son came in and spent $1700 getting speakers and lights installed. Next day he realizes the fuel latch lever was completely loose... it was never hooked back up properly. He calls them and had to wait five days to get them to look at it. He had to take his trunk apart to get the fuel door open...if he couldn't he would have been stranded unable to fuel the car. He spent $1700 and six hours waiting for the vehicle. He works third shift and they know that but he had to come in the morning. He shouldnt have had to wait several days to fix their mistake. I've sent three people to this location resulting in 7k worth of business and will no longer recommend. We took the car to the dealership to have the electrical checked bc if they couldn't hook up a fuel latch god knows what they did to the electrical system. It's a 2020 vehicle and we trusted them and paid for professional work...I doubt that was the only sloppy mistake that was made. read more

Jason had redone my whole 2017 ram 1500 speaker system along with adding a screen to use apply car play, I started noticing a little bit of a cracking noise not long after and as soon as I messaged him he quickly trouble shooted the issue and replaced the speaker for me. They're really great, very professional. They installed my car stereo with backup camera about 3 years ago, then a month ago my backup camera stopped working. I dropped it off, they called me later that day and said there was a broken wire near the camera itself, and it was ready to pick up. I asked "How much?", they said no charge, even though it wasn't a problem with installation they would still call it installation, which is warrantied for as long as I own the vehicle. They let me sit in one of their vehicles (that was already tinted) so I could get an idea of what mine would feel like. I had my windows tinted a few months ago (second time getting car windows tinted, so I had expectations set high from another shop years ago in CA) and I wanted to give it time to see how they settled in before I wrote a review. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome and even more satisfied with the customer service, they met and actually surpassed my expectations. Kenny was very helpful and more communicative than you would expect. Obviously they want your business, but they show they want you to be happy with their work. I'll be taking my car here again for any more auto-related miscellaneous things. Hopefully going to install some subs here soon. I highly recommend at least getting your windows tinted here. Update to my prior review. Upon my initial review, Jason requested I call him regarding the issues with the top. He had us take the care in and he thoroughly worked on it, removing the top more than once to reinstall and tested if water was still getting in etc. We are so pleased with how he handled it and for taking the time to fix the problem. He was nice and professional thru the entire process. The convertible top no longer leaks and we are so appreciate of him making this right. I would definitely recommend street sounds. pre-covid i made an appointment to get my windows tinted & i arrived there for them to tell me my appointment had been booked wrong and that they could "try to fit me in".... ended up having to leave my car overnight there (i feel like i was taken advantage of because i'm a young girl) & anyways i picked up my car the next day and got home and looked over it.... there is dog hair between my tint and the window, bubbles everywhere. just embarrassing. so i will not be going back, i would rather just pay to have them redone professionally. wouldn't recommend. read more

Horrible customer service! Bought a Groupon for window tinting and when I tried to schedule an appointment they said their policy is not to book specific appointment times but to drop off the car 9 am and it will be done by 5pm if not earlier. They are also not open on Saturday / Sunday so it is impossible for me to find someone to drive me/ pick me up for those times during work days . What sort of policy is this!?! I called a local competitor and they were able to give me an exact appointment time and it will take 90 mins and I can wait in the waiting room . I will be canceling my Groupon and taking my business elsewhere. read more
