Just the best! He explained everything clearly. The surgery and recovery went exactly as he'd explained. I'm now pain free!

Basically, you're seen, treated for symptoms, prescribed meds and released. No thorough exams, in depth explanation of labs or professionalism! I brought my spouse on November 2. We returned on Monday and then again on Thursday the treatment was simply poor! Is the new goal to get you in and out so they can have beds for other patients? This location does not strive for patient excellence. DO NOT come here please. We ended up back at the ER Friday. Thankfully, we went to St. Luke's Lakeside in The Woodlands. They don't play around. Everyone was professional, labs, EKG, heart monitor! They were very thorough! As a matter of fact, the PA advised my spouse would be admitted due to the number of visits to the ER. I was more than satisfied! Admitted Friday, diagnosed Saturday and will be discharged today, Sunday! I'm definitely satisfied.

I arrived at approximately 4:30 pm and was assessed and checked in promptly. I was given a wrist band and then seen within 30 minutes by a registered nurse, who asked appropriate and pointed questions to determine my issue. I was assigned to a holding room and told the doctor would see my promptly. There was a little hiccup in that part of the visit because the doctor was not able to see me. After checking on me several times to see if the doctor had come in they determined he could not see me at that time and assigned to another room. Fast forward after the doctor accessed my issue it was determined I needed to stay overnight for observation. My care over night was exemplary and the hospital release process was flawless. Thank you St. Luke's

A few of…read morethe nurses were great and majority of CNAs were wonderful however again severely understaffed. The therapy team were kind except the head guy. He was flippant and ignored the fact my loved one needed speech therapy for swallowing even though we chose this location for this specific need. No one ever did speech therapy the 23 days my loved one was there which made his swallow issues worsen and lose weight due to lack of eating. The head of nursing was rude and ignored concerns. My loved one failed swallow testing and still she was covering for the nurse one day and brought my loved one pills to swallow and one got stuck and after that he refused to eat or drink even though we had started to make progress. My loved one ended up with a pretty severe uti due to lack of changing him and I had to push for testing to prove this was going on. They were dehydrating him significantly with 3 different types of stool softeners. We had to request Iv hydration due to how dehydrated he was. My loved one ended up with bruises on his toes from pushing against the bed as they are horrible cheap beds that aren't long enough for taller residents. If you are considering this facility go on the weekends. The place reeks of urine and fecal matter because the one wonderful cleaner they have doesn't work weekends. Also, request a camera in the room so you can verify care for your loved one no matter what facility you choose. My loved one was never taken out of his room to socialize or take to the lunch room. He was left in his room alone. Getting older is hard. Our loved ones deserve respect, nurturing and healing. Do better.

I shattered my ankle/lower leg in a freak accident in the middle of August 2016…read more I saw Dr Kant initially at the Red Oak location, but was referred to Dr Miller as he is the resident "ankle specialist" at the Dotson/Willowbrook office. I required surgery to reconstruct/reset my ankle & lower leg bones. Dr Miller is a smart guy, seems younger than average for his role & knowledge, but most importantly, he did a four hour surgery & reconstructed my ankle using three plates & 28 screws, and it went off without a hitch. No errors, infections, issues. It's been two weeks since the surgery & I'm amazed at how good everything looks & how well it's healing. I followed all of his instructions & am on track to be able to walk again before Thanksgiving as a result of his efforts & my following instructions. The nursing staff here has been equally wonderful - knowledgable, available, empathetic, helpful, and friendly. I'm about a third of the way through my recovery, but the worst parts of it are over & right now is really about recovery & physical therapy - I'm very impressed at how it's all being handled at this location. The front desk employees can be hit and miss; some are friendly & helpful, I've also encountered aloof & ridiculous. There's also the issue that the front desk charges $30 GD dollars to sign your short term disability form...can't file without a signature, won't sign without the money. Highway robbery. Don't worry though. Wait, skip the front desk, and talk to the surgeon's nurse. They'll hook you up with a signature for your docs for free. (As it should be.) #lifehack

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Dr. Hulen's office. I was referred back to him by…read morethe orthopedic surgeon who performed my rotator cuff surgery because I continue to wake up with my arm numb and my fingers tingling. Given my symptoms, I expected a thorough evaluation and continuity of care. This was not my first visit with Dr. Hulen. I have seen him before, and during that visit I felt my pain was dismissed. Despite my ongoing symptoms and prior MRI findings, I was told that I was "fine." I am clearly not. At this most recent appointment, I informed the medical assistant that I had already undergone X rays this year and multiple MRIs. I specifically explained that my previous imaging and the radiologist's diagnostic reports were already in my medical record. Rather than reviewing my chart or looking at the existing imaging reports, my concerns were disregarded. No effort was made to determine what testing had already been completed or what the radiologist had already documented before insisting that I have another $250 X ray. There was no meaningful discussion about whether another X ray was medically necessary. Had anyone reviewed my records, they would have seen that I already have documented cervical spine abnormalities, including a curved cervical spine, bone spurs, and multiple MRIs. X rays do not show soft tissue or nerves and do not diagnose a pinched nerve. I asked how another X ray would change my diagnosis or treatment plan. My question was never answered. Instead, I was told that if I declined the X ray, I needed to find another doctor. Rather than reviewing my records, performing a physical examination, or explaining why another X ray was medically necessary, I was denied an evaluation and told to seek care elsewhere. The lack of continuity of care is unacceptable. A physician should review a patient's history, imaging, radiology reports, referral, and current symptoms before deciding what additional testing is needed. I was referred by my orthopedic surgeon because I wake up with my arm numb and my fingers tingling. Instead of evaluating those symptoms, I was turned away without an examination. I continue to experience significant pain, numbness, and tingling that interfere with my daily life. As a Black woman, this experience reinforced what far too many Black women experience in healthcare. Our pain is too often dismissed or minimized. This is now the fourth provider I have seen within this practice, and each time I have left feeling that my symptoms were not taken seriously. One final thought. Ending appointments with "God bless" rings hollow when a patient leaves feeling unheard, dismissed, and denied an evaluation. Compassion is demonstrated through actions, not words. If a practice chooses to invoke faith, then it should also embody the principles of compassion, justice, and treating every patient with dignity and respect. I expected evidence based, patient centered care. Instead, I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and without the care I was referred to receive. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

Most of my adult life I have been seeing chiropractors; finding a good one where ever I lived. A…read moreJersey girl living in Houston now. It had been almost 20 years since I saw a chiropractor. I had no idea where to start to find one I would trust in an area as huge as Houston. Bear with me, I'll try not to make it too long. When we moved more toward the 249/Louetta area, someone told me "Nextdoor" and I became a member. There, I saw that neighbors sought recommendations for various services, etc., so I inquired since I began to have quite low back pain I had not experienced before and on-going, never ending sciatica(I thought) sever pain/problems on one side, especially. I'm 66(yikes! now; going on 25 within, lol). My regular doctor said I must adjust my lifestyle, I'm getting older, and gave me meds for pain. My "lifestyle" is not super active; active in terms of yard work, though! At home and our weekend place further North. I still work full time and I do sit most of the day. = ( A chiro. I went to once in my work building, over a year ago made one (feeble) adjustment and gave me stretches to do. And basically did not want to see me again until I took care of the pain with the stretches (!) But those stretches were not helping. And the pain in the one leg could be excruciating at night trying to sleep, yes, excruciating! Some of the pain was sciatica, but not the only source. I agree with the reviews here - lovely office and staff, hands down. Dr. Dan listened to all I had to express. Being prone to anxiety, I had to get it all out, lol! He listened to everything patiently. Dr. Dan has a healing 'aura' about him. He believes in chiropractic and trusts what he has learned and does. Basically, I've been a 'mess' for quite a while, lol. My hips have been more like an empty see-saw, me sitting on one end, on the ground, and the top empty if you know what I mean. Sorry, that's the visual I just had. As with other reviewers, after the first visit, twice a week for two more weeks recommended. Second adjustment 8/21: low back pain gone and right back of hip pain gone. Today, 8/23, a.m. adjustment. Low back still no pain. My very bad right side back of hip(which triggers the sciatica - I think, lol), just a twinge today. I have only gone to Dr Dan 3 times! I could say I'm at a loss for words....but once this introvert starts writing...well. There is NO doubt I will stay with Dr. Daniel Dannug.

This causes late arrivals etc for patients, especially new ones! The receptionist has no office/front desk etiquette whatsoever. The so called "nurse" that saw me to the back, she had NO IDEA what she was doing. Proof? She stated it at least 4 times while conducting my x-ray. Which brings me to my next topic, my x-ray! What kind of establishment is this? Your nurse DID NOT COVER MY BODY WITH THE LEAD SHIELD/APRON! I am 34 years old and still at child bearing age, you could have quite possibly damaged my eggs!! She repeatedly told me she did not know how to work the machine, she didn't know when to start the x-ray, she didn't know why the images were showing up the way they were (all of which she stated to me!!). The store room was located where the X-Ray machine was, and you all had supplies open and everywhere including sterile tools. When I got to the actual MD, he basically tried to give me steroids and schedule a surgery. That's it, that's all. I honestly am afraid this may have been a scam and my information is at risk. If you're reading this review it's REAL, the other 5 star reviews seem sketchy and not genuine so use discernment. The nurse is not KNOWLEDGEABLE and does NOT FOLLOW PROPER PROTOCOL!
