The lighting is dim and the sofas are beautiful. There is a red piano on the other side that just looks so regal. We sat at the bar and were quickly taken care of. They have a great variety of cocktails to choose from and some bites as well if you're feeling hungry. I went with the red eye espresso martini and it was amazing. It tasted like chocolate! The combo of Licor 43 and espresso is delish! Highly recommend. It was a Sunday night so there wasn't too many people, but the bartender did tell us they play live music on Fridays and Saturdays and that is when there is a bigger crowd. We will be going back soon!

The retail of this bottle is $45 and they charged us $30.00 per 1oz shot when the bill came. The alleged manager said that's the price as we don't charge for the entertainment or atmosphere, we are local and we're not aware of an entertainment fee. Avoid this place at all costs. The same beverage would be $15 at any reputable establishment that really wants repeat business from locals. This should be reported to anyone that cares about their money.

Gigi was super helpful in giving us insight on customer favorites! We tried the caesar salad (you have to cut it yourself but don't worry it's SO GOOD), truffle fries, spare rib tips, ropa vieja poutine, and ropa vieja (entree). While everything was incredibly tasteful, the ropa vieja poutine was by far my favorite. They also have so many signature cocktails to choose from, and on Thursdays, they offer a ladies night special with $8 mini select martinis. We will definitely be visiting Twice Removed next time we are back in Fort Lauderdale.

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

If you…read morepicture Trader Vic's crossed with Amsterdam hippy bar, you get the idea. 5-star beverages: Just about every combination of kava, kratom, etc that you can mix in a drink is available here. There are even CBD "shots" available. I was in need of the opposite of these calm-down beverages, and ordered a cold-brew coffee (the bartender got a laugh out of that). My local client took me by this place, and raved about the kava-related options. Neither of us is into hookah, but the other customers raved about that. 5-star service: aside from the funny personable staffer, the patrons were also sweet-natured regulars. They all seemed to know one another well, and welcomed us like old pals. The legal natural sedative qualities of many of their beverages meant a lot of the conversation was about flying cars and reincarnation LOL. 5-star ambience: Outside it's a little bit forlorn strip mall, a little bit dive bar. Inside, the funky hipster aspect more than makes up for the exterior. There's sort of a beat-up Polynesian bar theme, complete with Ikea paper lanterns. Parking is available right out front and on the back side of the block as well.

Squeezed into a former credit union spot, it's almost hidden in a corner of the shopping strip, between Alibi and Hunters, two of the largest gay bars in the city. It's almost like a speakeasy...as of now there is no lit outdoor sign like the strip's other places. No Manors opens up into a surprisingly large space upon walking through the entryway. The very trendy lighting, multiple bar spaces, DJs and large curved seating gives off a cool nightclub vibe. Behind and above the seating can be used for live performances. On opening night male strippers danced, and various circus style acts performed. The DJ music was loud which made it hard for conversation, but not ear-shattering loud. The security and bar staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my time there. It remains to be seen if they can fill this large bar and lounge every weekend.
