I've been going here all my life, but the service I received was very confusing. The tall guy that served me seems like he didn't want any money for the business. I purchased numerous things, but he seemed so aggravated that I was adding on numerous things. Buying ice cream should be a happy experience. Well that's what I believe. He even wrote on the cake "kappa" bday instead of "happy" Smh like dude if you didn't want to work just call out

I stopped by here looking for a cake for Valentine's Day. Since it was for 3 adults I wanted something small. I also needed something without chocolate since I am allergic. The sales girl helped me combine flavors. Did you know they have vanilla crunchies?!?!? Neither did I! I went with dulce de leche, vanillan and vanilla crunchies. Perfection. The cake was ready on time and the flavors were good.

This location is small but staff is nice and the ice cream here is really good. I really enjoy the ice cream cake options as well

The place was nice and clean when I walked in. The prices were to be expected. It was fast to get. The only bad thing was finding parking.

While exploring Harlem, we had to stop by Sugar Hill Creamery for something cold, creamy, and…read moredelicious--and I'm so glad we did! The first thing that caught my attention wasn't even the ice cream... it was the names. This isn't your average ice cream shop with "vanilla," "chocolate," and "strawberry." Their flavors have personality! Names like I Live It, How I Get It, Brown Bombshell, and Andy Griffith (their take on classic vanilla) immediately made me smile. It's such a fun, creative touch that fits the neighborhood perfectly. According to the website, their flavors are inspired by Harlem, local culture, and favorite desserts, which makes the experience feel even more unique. The ice cream absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Rich, creamy, flavorful, and worth the stop. Even with a steady flow of customers, the staff kept the line moving, stayed friendly, and made everyone feel welcome. The only reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is the size of the shop. It's tiny! Of course, that's not really their fault, but it can feel a little cramped when it's busy. Overall, Sugar Hill Creamery is a must-visit if you're in Harlem. Great ice cream, creative flavors, friendly service, and a neighborhood gem I'll definitely be back for. Sorry I didn't capture any pics. 4.5/5 stars

Service was quick despite a long line and the workers were kind and pleasant. We tried Sweet Socialism, which was surprisingly complex for a flavor only labeled as "dark chocolate," and Hello New World, which was cookies and caramel -- a simple but genius twist on the classic cookies and cream. Looking forward to trying their own combinations in the future!

The flavors are boundless and plenty with a creative twist and I like that they have seating as well. I'm a chocolate gal so naturally always go for chocolate based flavors, and went with the brown bombshell. The blondies and nuts were so good! For contrast I also got a scoop of blueberry cheesecake and it did not disappoint!! The cheese cake actually had a cream cheese flavor unlike a lot of other places and ample amounts of blueberry and crust for texture. Divine, and absolutely delicious!

I just popped in for a late night treat on a cold rainy day and it was everything I needed to lift my spirits up. I'm used to the Lenox Ave location so switching it up by coming to Broadway was nice. As usual, the flavors options are extremely unique. I tasted the Thai Noodle flavor because I thought it sounded so funny as a concept and I was pleasantly surprised at how they made something that's typically a dish into an enjoyable ice cream flavor. I landed on getting two scoops in a cone and it was roughly $11. The toppings options are vast but I figured it wasn't needed with the creative ice cream flavors I selected. The blueberry cheesecake was delightful, filled with chunks of blueberry and the occasional (surprising) sour hint to balance out the sweetness. The peach cobbler lived up to the name and I have nothing to say except deliciousssssss. I always appreciate Harlem based businesses that make it clear they're committed to the liberation of the community. Seeing certain community activists/pillars in murals on the wall was such a reflective moment. The server I had tonight was very sweet, patient and inviting. 10/10 experience

Plus their cookies are generous which is perfect for sharing! I tend to like a sprinkle of salt as well and that may be the only thing missing from their cookie selection. I just stick with the classic. The past few times I've been, I've ventured out of chocolate chip cookies and have tried their cakes. The seasonal ginger one is so delightful. I appreciated the spicy kick and it was a big hit with young and old. Sadly, I tried to repurchase recently and was told it was an autumn special. I've tried their banana choc chip cake loaf as well, and love that the banana taste really comes through. Not too sweet. In terms of customer space, this location is teeny with lots of offerings so you often see people hanging out outside waiting for some space to clear to place an order. With two registers, however, everything tends to move quickly. This is a great location for us uptowners!

The first time I came was on a Monday after dinner, and there was a short line. It moved pretty fast because they had multiple people scooping gelato. I got the medium size with pistachio, pavlova & mixed berries, and chocolate almond. The chocolate almond was my favorite but all were so yummy. A perfect sweet treat :) Medium size is good for 2 or even 3 people if you don't want too much. They stack your cup sooo high! I came back in less than 1 week. It was a Sunday after dinner and a very humid hot day and the line was sooo long out the door omg. I got a small with hazelnut crunch that might be my new favorite flavor! I also got the stracciatella, but that one was too creamy for me. Also they LOADED my cup, it was definitely too much to finish alone. Interior has a good amount of seating, and I was able to get one both times!

I settled on the pistachio creme brulee (one flavor). It was a creme brulee base with pistachios mixed in. The texture was a little more liquidy than what I expect from gelato. Flavor was less bold and less creamy than what I expect as well. Ate a lot more like a sorbet. Pricey at about $10 for a small waffle cone (excluding rip). Service was quick and polite.
