This was my first visit to Steel N Roll, and it definitely won't be my last. The shop was clean, bright, and had a relaxed atmosphere. I liked watching my rolled ice cream being made right in front of me. It's one of those places where the process is almost as enjoyable as the dessert itself. I ordered The View of Key West and added white chocolate sauce and toasted coconut flakes. The vanilla base mixed with fresh lime, graham crackers, and lime zest tasted just like a Key lime pie in ice cream form. The lime was refreshing without being overpowering, the graham crackers added a nice crunch, and the white chocolate complemented everything instead of making it overly sweet. It was a combination that worked really well. The staff was friendly, and as a first-time customer they also gave me a loyalty card. Buy nine ice creams or boba teas and the tenth is free, which is a nice bonus if you plan on coming back. If you're looking for something different from a traditional scoop shop, Steel N Roll is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu. read more

Think Cold Stone with a twist! They roll the ice cream up in little rolls then put them in a cup like a bouquet of flowers. :) Clean ice cream parlor where the employees are in view doling, mixing, re hashing, and rolling. A bit pricey however it's also the experience you pay for. They have these huge thick awesome cookies that were fire! GET ONE! We'll definitely go back! :)) Thank you Steel n Roll! I was very happy & satisfied after my first visit to Steel N Roll ice cream shop. A very unique & delicious way to serve ice cream in a variety of flavors, with or without toppings. The combinations are endless and they offer a lot of suggestions on their menu board. I had coffee ice cream base with Butterfingers rolled in along with an Oreo cookie topping and Reesie's peanut butter cups. It was amazing. I also had a variety of beverages t choose from. You can choose what you want mixed in and toppings, or go with a menu of combos created already. This place is pretty cool for the area. There aren't many trendy things that pop up in Sebastian, so offering rolled ice cream is very exciting for the community. The ice cream itself is very normal. Definitely if you're going to get it, make sure you choose an option that has a sauce rolled into it. That makes it pretty fun when you bite in. Also make sure you get a topping, it makes it look more visually appealing for your Instagram photos haha. The only real downside and probably why I wouldn't go here too often is the wait time. We walked into a packed shop with not one person actually eating any ice cream. Once you place your order it takes 45 minutes before you actually get it. We had 14 orders ahead of ours. The only cool part is that you get to watch them roll ice cream the entire time. It's pretty mesmerizing. Everyone waiting was incredibly patient. And understanding. This is the second time I had visited this ice cream shop. this was a wonderful experience on its own. You get to watch your deserve being made right before your eyes oh, that's something you really don't see in most places. It's almost like hibachi for ice cream lovers. Here they serve fresh rolled ice cream and you can customize it to your liking or choose from the selection of already picked roll ups. It only took a mer 5 minutes for my order to be made, granted I also came on a quieter day. My first time I came I came with three other people and it took about 20 minutes for order to be finished, but the place was also packed as well. So to have our order out in 20 minutes and there is at least 10 people in front of us was pretty quick for me. The atmosphere is classy trendy. Customer service is great and I noticed that each guest I walk out the door they took out a moment to tell them to have a great day as they walked out the door. It's a nice atmosphere to hang out with friends or even catch up on emails. I thought the chopping of the ice cream would bother me but it's actually kind of soothing. Today I tried the green tea roll ups which was new for me, but I enjoyed every bite. What a great addition to this area! read more
