This has been one of my best clinical experiences. I was feeling nervous going to an endoctrinologist for the first time, but the moment I stepped into the building I felt peace. The atmosphere is beautifully crafted, from calming music and numerous plants to front desk staff that greet you with a smile. The nurses and doctors were attentive and knowledgeable, and I left feeling confident they could help me get to the root of my symptoms. On other occasions I've called over the phone, they've always been professional, compassionate, and helpful. I also experienced hypoglycemic symptoms during a blood draw, and they quickly got me the help I needed. They also were kind to my young children who came with me. So far this place has been an answer to prayer during a scary time of going to different doctors and clinics, and trying to advocate for myself. I don't feel like a number here. I also feel like my needs and preferences are respected. I would highly recommend! read more

This office is primarily concerned with creating needs for office visits, [which is a matter of policy I found out]. Patients should also be resigned to being comfortable with almost NEVER seeing Dr. Yoo. Patients are assigned to a PA or NP immediately. The front desk is a group of wonderful people read more

My wife and I use this medical practice. We have for years. Very competent staff. I highly recommend considering using them.

When calling them don't expect anyone answering the phone. You will be directed to voicemail. When leaving a voicemail message, don't expect anyone getting back to you. When finally talking with someone don't expect them to know anything about your previous appointments. Do expect them to try and set up appointments you already had, again. read more

Never once did I ever see a real doctor at Cary Endocrine. Not once did i ever see an insulin pump specialist at Cary Endocrine...although i asked a few times i gave up with them. I asked about swapping out my Medtronic CGM with DexCom and instead they ratted me out to Medtronic and i got a phone call from them asking why i wanted to switch to DexCom. Basically, I would go in and see them every 6 months or so and some clown PA would see me for about 5 minutes and that was it. The final straw was after missing an appointment and having a "missed appointment" fee....i get a nasty letter from "the doctor" Dr Yoo.... which i thought was funny seeing that i had never actually met Dr Yoo...EVER. read more

They don't care about patients and don't listen to listen to you or concern at all. Avoid at all cost. They called me one day to talk about my result and scared the crap out of me. "You have to come ASAP, the doctor needs to talk to you" I asked more infos they said just it s an emergency. I got appointment next day. I didn't sleep that night. When I arrived, I spend there 2 min, the doctor just said all was good. Cost me close to 200$. I left after that and never went back. read more

All appointments were with Julia Spor. The second appointment, I received an ultrasound of my thyroid which found a nodule. On the second appointment, before leaving, I had to remind Julia to physically check my neck however I figured since the ultrasound was done that was probably why she would not have done it anyway.  On the third, last appointment, she read my labs and made a comment "I don't even know what this means" regarding why my a specific lab was so high. I left that appointment with her never physically checking my thyroid even though the last appointment showed a nodule and my sister had thyroid cancer, which was in my history. I am disgusted by the "care" of Julia Spor, I don't know if everyone else there provides the same quality of work but this is horrible and no other person should be seen by this woman. The health care system needs to be changed if I need to say these things, which I would think are the basic requirements. read more

Dr. Yoo and the entire staff at Cary Endocrine is top notch!! Professional, friendly, uber organized, extremely thorough and flexible! Many followup appts can be done over the phone if you aren't able to get to the office. They also have their own lab so you don't have to travel somewhere else to get your blood work done. I am only able to see inexperienced PAs or NPs Supposedly, no doctors are available. My insurance is paying for me to see a specialty physician so technically, this practice is violating the agreement with my insurance company, I have not received endocrine care correctly from this practice. Am still waiting for my thyroid medication prescription - they don't even follow up. Am switching practices immediately. I can't recommend this practice. read more

I've been coming here for about 4 years. The problems weren't in the beginning as my diabetes was in check at first, but i started experiencing issues such as numbness in my feet and uncontrollable shaking. This place has never taken anything I've said under consideration nor addressed the issues. Entire staff has disregarded me as a patient. Do not recommend this place. I have found a new endocrine that addressed every issue I had immediately. read more

I was so beyond excited to go to the endocrinologist after testing for high cortisol. I waited 2 months to get in. I saw Kyo and felt so unheard and disregarded. I did not even get to get through all my symptoms when I was told my cortisol was just high from birth control (I have been on birth control for 10 years with no problems until recently). I felt totally ignored and disregarded. I told her I have been gaining weight and am unable to lose any weight and her response was "I like your weight....". She scheduled additional tests but then called to let me know the tests would only work if I was off birth control for 3 months first...I need help now. They tried to get me to come in for another appointment after I told the front desk my concerns, but I was really uncomfortable with the idea of going back. I am now going to another endocrinologist and hoping for the best. Also note that my appointment was less than 10 minutes and cost over $100 when absolutely nothing was done to help and I wasn't listened to. read more
