He had to leave his car because it wouldn't start. The car was left for a few hours and by the morning, was gone. No phone call, no warning, nothing. We found out that someone had towed it. Now, Ram's Eastgate Towing is charging us $400 to get the car. They said the fee was set by the city/county. I called the sheriff and PD and they said that this was not true, that rates are set by the towing company. Only NC highway patrol can set rates and by their website, a non-collision is around $185 and $40 storage fee AFTER the first night. The car was picked up early Monday morning and we picked it up on Tuesday. During a state of emergency, these people are capitalizing on people during a hard time. Without warning or notification. We did not get a chance to even get our own tow company and we're not sure if they we're out looking for cars to tow during the storm! They were rude and and unprofessional. We have been without power and water and these people only think about themselves as they kept showing my son the flooding in their driveway at their business, like we should be helping them! Do not recommend this place of business, at all.

My two kids and I were on the way to an outing in Morrisville with my son's friends. I was just driving along when, out of nowhere, the Tesla in front of me slammed on brakes suddenly. Without a moment to think, I had to quickly swerve to avoid hitting the Tesla. The good news is that I was successful in missing the Tesla. The bad news is that the road had no shoulder and my car ended up on a steep incline where I did not feel safe enough to move the car or exit it. My motherly instinct kicked in and I dialed 911 to play it safe. The police and fire personnel arrived and agreed that I had made the right decision to call for help given that my car could have tipped over. The police called Further Towing & Recovery to assist. Travis of Further Towing & Recovery arrived quickly (within just a few minutes from the time of the call for help) and immediately got to work. Travis was courteous, professional, but most of all very knowledgeable. You could tell this wasn't his "first rodeo" with this type of emergency situation. He understood the assignment, promptly assessed the situation, hooked my car up to his wrecker, and safely pulled it off this dangerous incline without causing any damage to my car. She parks her car in an handicapped parking spot facing her apartment. Today she realized her car was missing- She assumed her handicap parking placard must have fell off. She contacted her apartment building complex and was told they could help by calling your towing company and explain the situation. She was charged $300 to pickup her car ( $200 for towing and $50/day for storage). The apartment complex was able to reduce it to $200. That's $200 for a 26min ( 2 way) towing ride. Of course only when we got there she was told you only accept cash otherwise you charge a $12 convenience fee. Thank you for your inability to show compassion or any desire to help further.
