A busy Tuesday night my large group had reservations an was seated promptly. chips and salsa were served quickly and drink orders taken. Usually, I would order fajitas. Tonight, I ordered enchiladas verdes .... Two beef and two chicken enchiladas. They arrived, fairly small, at best they were room temperature. The sauce seemed fairly salty. I have bought frozen taquitos from Trader Joe's that were better. Very disappointing. To be fair five people at my table rated their meals 2-3-4-4-4.5 . I would go back again but would not order this dish. I had high hopes when the food arrived and the dish was very hot ... unfortunately the food wasn't even warm. If I do go back I would order the fajitas...the meal arrived steaming hot. Over all the the choice of my meal affected the score. Adios. read more

The food has no flavor The lacosta enchiladas- 3 enchiladas with shrimp, green pepper & onions. It came with blk beans, rice & quac. The tortillas tasted rae not done. The shrimp was ok but not a lot of flavor The chicken fajitas were very bland not a lot of flavor at all. The shrimp fajitas were good (our friend had this) he enjoyed it The chips were thin and pretty good and the salsa was good. Our server was good and it was clean. Unsure about a return trip. This was a great Mexican dining experience. I've tried a few other ones in the area and this has been my favorite so far. My one friend had beef enchiladas and a margarita. She enjoyed her entrée and said the margarita was one of the best she's ever had. I had the shrimp tacos (it doesn't come with sides) - and they were delicious! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of toppings, plus they were reasonably priced. My other friend had the burritos and altered her toppings - no red sauce, but wanted queso, etc. They were very accommodating to her requests and she enjoyed her meal. We also were given fresh corn chips and salsa. Both yummy! The restaurant was busy but we could still hear each other talk and really enjoyed our meal. Our food was very good my wife ordered a Fahita taco salad and l ordered a chicken fajita, we're both delicious. You get chips and salsa to start and we ordered guacamole dip was $6 for a small dish. I ordered a Frozen strawberry margarita, and it was delicious, l would like to have had my margarita before dinner started. Our waitress Sarai was excellent. I have been driving pass this place for sometime now, it's always so busy. So today was the day to check it out. Right away I got seated. Good size place, thank goodness because with it being Sunday right after church. Got some hot taco chips and salsa. Menu isn't huge, but it's very nice. You can do a lot of different kinds of combinations. I chose to have a cheese ranchero and a tamale, along with rice and beans. I have absolutely no complaints about either one of those items. The food was fabulous. Service was also great. He was right on anything that I wanted or needed. So the bottom line is if you're in the area make a stop even if the parking lot is quite full. Pros: gorgeous environment, amazing food Cons: none! Aries was our waiter and was thorough and kind. The food arrived quickly and was really delicious. I got the chiro-pollo -a pounded chicken breast topped with chorizo and queso. I prob wouldn't order it again bc of the spicy (chorizo), but that's more of a "me" problem, and doesn't reflect the quality of the food. I'm just a spice wimp :) The chips and salsa were great -the chips had salt which I love and some Mexican restaurants skip. The margaritas were drool worthy and tasted authentic -not like cheap mixer. We will def return! read more

This restaurant is a vibe. The decor music outside before you enter and inside is dance worthy. The food was fast and filling. There were several servers working, all equipped with headsets to ensure prompt communication amongst the team. This was our second time and will return again! read more

Still in search of decent Mexican food, which I never thought would be that hard. Simply stated the food here is awful. It's served on a plate so hot you could definitely burn yourself. I ordered the combo, one beef taco with one beef enchilada, refried beans, and rice. All the food was very bland, and the beef was dry. There wasn't enough enchilada sauce to cover the whole enchilada so I drenched it in salsa, which didn't help it. The taco was hard shell and when I say hard, the shell thick and hard. Both items were very small. The chips and salsa that they provide for you we're awful. The chips were extremely thick, greasy and hard the so-called salsa was watered down tomatoes with a few spices. Not good. The waiter seemed like he didn't care. The only way I can see somebody eating this food and liking it is if they started on margaritas first which would probably help lighten the taste buds. read more

Ok so my wife and I are snowbirds from Michigan and we came here because it looked busier than the place down the street We were seated almost immediately, which I thought this is good and we were given menus Then the bad thing happened. We were ignored for 15 minutes before I got up and complained, and I complained because people were sat down next to me and their waitress can give them water, which we did not have gave them chips and salsa which we did not have and took thelr order which did not happen to us, so I thought what the hell so after I complained, they came to me and they apologized, that it wasn't their waitresses fault because the table wasn't assigned to a wait staff So she brought me water and brought us some salsa sauce and chips and because you had been there for 15 minutes we knew exactly what we wanted we ordered. We received the appetizer queso dip right away but 15 minutes later. I still don't have my order and we didn't order anything crazy that should've took him more than 10 minutes. Then we found the hair in the queso dip showed it to them and left the restaurant Went down the street was waited on immediately and had our order delivered within 10 minutes read more

We ordered a small guacamole & there was a pit in the guac. Instead of having the same thing sent out the waiter said he would make us the table-side guacamole for the trouble. Then there was 2 burritos ordered for the table. Both of them were made incorrectly and on top of that cold. We asked for them to be remade correctly and only 1 was. The other one was just reheated. At this point we had waited long enough so the reheated one was just ate. When the bill had come the table-side guacamole was charged instead of the one actually ordered. Both burritos were also on there full price. Paying full price for a reheated burrito is ridiculous. The manager finally came over after all of these problems. We explained the whole situation and he was very dismissive and once he realized the card was ready with the fixed bill, he left in the middle of the conversation. Insanely terrible customer service from that manager. Our waiter was more understanding than him. It's a shame because our first visit here had went so well. read more

Below par Mexican food. I'll post pics but very disappointed. Don't stop here. My top shelf margarita was orange juice with a splash of tequila. My guacamole appetizer was out of a container without flavor. The queso fundido was the jar queso heated with some chorizo bits on top- I sent that back immediately. My aunts tamale was cold we sent it back- they microwaved it and still came back cold! My son didn't eat his shredded beef tacos as they were cold. My husband's burrito was cold and soggy. We live in Summerfield, so the fact that we drive this far, passing a dozen other Mexican restaurants, is a testimony in itself. We have been maybe a dozen times and tried a wide variety of dishes and never been disappointed. The only thing lacking is the salsa is pretty poor, and service can be a bit spotty. There's a fix for the salsa, ask for their extra hot sauce and mix it in and it is an order of magnitude better. I really like it hot so I'll dip straight in the sauce. $6 for queso dip is a bit high, but $6 for the guac is ok given the portion and chunkiness. And heads up, the medium margaritas are huge, smalls are pretty ample. We will be back again, and again. read more

My shrimp tacos were good, but I would have liked more goodies inside. Wife had street tacos and enjoyed them. The salsa was a little bland. It needed more kick. It was like tomato sauce. We've been here twice so far. Service was very good. Food was good. First time the shredded lettuce on the plate was soaking wet. Second time my hard shell taco was soggy because it absorbed the moisture from the food it was placed upon. My husband enjoyed his tamale, said it was excellent.
