This location is close to UBS. Convenient for that purpose a few places to eat around the area but still on best to be out too late at night. THIS IS A SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT. I know online says non smoking but it's SMOKING. They are close to public storage so you may pass it. There's parking there's not 1 trash in the lobby area or by the vending machines that don't work. No matter what room you get the smoke odor is so strong in the hallways, entry of the hotel up the stairs so if your sensitive to the smell this isn't the place for you. The rooms aren't cleaned properly, the AC are outdated and very dusty. The bedding is super thin, the blanket is stained and also thin sand exact thing goes for the pillow they give you a total of 3 and it still won't make up for one. The gray in the room with ice bucket and cups is dirty and stained and in a non smoking room ashtrays are inside, the doors aren't that secure. that includes It still needs work, the vending machines not working properly and whoever at the desk can't help you whether it's during business hours or after hours. I've stayed here twice and my second visit was worse than my first

Evidence of Sammy not taking my phone calls or providing customer service on 9/21 @ 2:10am.

Called this number; spoke with concierge named "Sammy" he sounded West Indian by voice recognition. He was very difficult to get along with and then proceeded to hang up my call and put subsequent calls on voicemail status. I called this business a total of 14 times and the person put my calls on hold and automated answering services. Shame; shame; shame. Location is not ideal; hope it was worth your efforts Mr. "Sammy" because I'd fire you by daylight. This will not end here. Be prepared.

Seen the hotel for a good price on the hopper app. Decided to book for a night. When I arrived all I could smell was bleach and cigarettes. Bed cover was stained ( looked like blood), sheets were dirty filled with hair and crumbs. Asked for a different bed cover and no one ever arrived to help. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Vending machines by the elevator. Candy, iPhone charging cable and adapter, condoms, and chips.

I stayed for 2 days. The common areas aren't bad looking. The parking lot can accommodate about a dozen vehicles. I wasn't happy with the service or the room. I asked for a working iron 4 times, which is attached to the ironing board with a cable! I received 3 defective irons, dirty ironing boards, and the response took very long. No microwave in the room. No toilet tissue holder either. Dirty and dusty by the air conditioner. A smell of marijuana throughout the building, including the rooms. They have hourly rentals, so there's a transient element in the hallways. The microwave was in the hallway by the elevator and it wasn't clean. The air conditioner was struggling to work in mild temperatures. There were burn marks on the tray under the ice bucket. No top for the ice bucket. An outdated phone in the room. There was a group of people smoking, drinking, and very loud in the back of the building in the parking lot late in the evening on a Wednesday night. The towel had stains and holes in it. The bathroom was pleasant looking. There were new products in the bathroom to use. The bed was comfortable. The countertops in the bathroom were lovely. The location makes it easy to get to UBS, JFK, or LaGuardia airports.

Bed was ok and so was the heater. There was a small dresser with 3 drawers but no places to hang clothes. No hacks, hooks, wardrobes or anywhere where I could hang my suit or other clothes. Elevator was broken. They have ice and vending machines. For the price I expected more but I guess this is just an expensive region and lack of other options. The other hotel nearby seems to be similar in price and comfort.

To the uninitiated, the hotels on Long Island suck. I don't know why, but I have stayed at half a dozen, paid for by employers I didn't mind bilking, and they were all terrible. If you are visiting NYC and want to stay outside the city, you should be looking at New Jersey where the same money will get you something swanky. The NJ hotels are as great and cheap as the Long Island ones are expensive and bad. Again, I don't know why. The Bellerose Inn, by Long Island standards, is fine. You go into the front door and it's not really a lobby so much as a guard's desk. The elevator and hallway are serviceable. It wasn't particularly scary in the room. The bed was comfortable, and it was fairly quiet so I actually had a good night's sleep. There aren't things like a closet or a phone in the room. But unlike the other hotels on Long Island that I have stayed at, it did not smell like piss, its windows opened to the outside instead of a corridor, and I did not contract hives. As a woman traveling alone, I at first assumed that they thought I was an older prostitute, but there do seem to be at least a handful of tourists staying there. To my surprise, the cars that were in the parking lot when I went in at night were still there in the morning. Anyway, if you need to be in Floral Park these are your choices.

There was major construction work being done next door but this was explained to us when we made the reservation and work stopped early enough in the afternoon to be an issue. Our room was spacious and quiet with antiques and a beautiful 4 poster bed. There were trees outside of our large windows and jazz playing on the radio. Although we knew that there was only one bathroom to be shared on our floor when we made our reservations, there was no problem with availability and we had a sink in our room. The shower was antique so water pressure was as strong as expected for fixtures that old. The only issue we had was the smell and scratchiness of the towels and wash cloths. It was almost as if they hadn't been washed between guests. The soaps seemed old and were pretty used up.
