Now I must admit that there is a language barrier and they can be rude at times. However after staying there for a few days after an emergency issue with my apartment, I realized that they are tough because they don't want to be taken advantage of. We became cool with the front desk lady and figured it out. They take cash but you ALWAYS have to out down a $100 dollar deposit to stay in the room. Here's a tip: if you stayed 1 night and need to stay another, book the room on booking.com, get the affordable price and go downstairs to pay. They will only charge you the $100 deposit 1 time if you book & pay for your room prior to your checkout. You can avoid putting down an extra $100 that way. Also - make sure that when you check out, you ask them for your $100 deposit back. It takes a few days for it to refund to your account. Keep that in mind friends!

This place is unbelievably seedy. I could chalk that up to bad choice on my part and ignore if it wasn't for the fact that our bathroom did not work for the duration of our stay. It's a good thing we spend most of our days outside because we basically stayed in an uninhabitable room. On the second day we asked for repairs and basically they just got it to flush when they came and it still didn't work so we just gave up. It's clear they have severe plumbing issues and are still renting people rooms. This is not a hotel. It's barely a hostel.
