    Chips salsa and cheese dip
    Meghin D.

This is delicious food! I'm so excited they are still here after the old Monrovia one closes down. The food is just as good if not better than the other location. (I was a weekly visitor at the old location). The service was outstanding and the waiter Diego I believe? Was so prompt and got the food out quickly and kept filling out drinks up. So for me, if you like spicy hot sauce, get their homemade hot sauce (salsa Picosa) it is outstanding! The cheese dip have a great consistency the salsa is delicious, but on of my favorite this is Nachos Machos (definitely get it to split between two people) it is huge and ask for the jalapeños to be diced and cooked versus a while one on top trust me. This time since it's just be I got the fajita quesadilla with steak and onions, then rice and beans, covered it in some cheese dip and the delicious hot sauce you have a perfect meal. Overall, it was fabulous and amazing and I will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was perfect and felt Super cozy inside. Try it out! Don't be fooled about the location, and don't be fooled that it's being a bigger name Mexican restaurant this is half the price and double the amount of food and better tasting. Try it out :)

Love the artwork on the menu.

The service was quick and friendly. My food was delicious. The tacos were packed full of flavor and the salsa they came with had enough kick to satisfy my spice craving. One my favorite things on the plate were the pinto beans. I feel like many places get this wrong, nit here. They tasted homemade for sure. I definitely recommend this place. As a side note, they have a decent sized bar setup as well.

My family and I traveled from Nashville, TN, feeling hungry. Using Google, we discovered Casa Blanca in Athens, Alabama. Initially, the setting resembled a warehouse. Upon being seated, we promptly ordered, but the rapid arrival of our food within 5 minutes hinted at issues. Unfortunately, the chicken with rice I ordered was tough and dry, making it an unpleasant experience. In summary, the cheese sauce was chunky, the pizza was both overpriced and undercooked, resulting in our worst dining experience. We have no intentions of revisiting this establishment anytime soon.

Quesadilla hawaiianas and chicken and rice

Casa used to be my favorite place to go in high school. Finally revisited after a few years to get the quesadilla Hawaiianas and catch up with old friends. Everything was still good but dang the prices have sky rocketed. Only good that was disappointing was the queso, very watery

I've been to the other location many times and never had an experience like this. This location was dirty (tables, walls, dishes, etc) and the service was below par. We had to remind our waitress a few times about our order and waited a long time for her to remember our table. The food wasn't up to standard and we generally regret dining here. Will definitely not be coming back.

Casa Blanca is good Mexican food. Casa Blanca is not Rosie's quality Mexican, but it's still good. I ordered a #17 with a beef burrito, enchilada, rice and beans. The food was good and the chips and salsa were good too. I have been going to Casa Blanca, which is a local chain, for years and their food is very consistent. The service is always good and attentive.

Enchilada Maria! Loaded with shredded beef, a bit tough, but very tasty.

Nothing is special about this restaurant. The food is just like any other locally owned Mexican restaurant in Alabama.

Guacamole casera is a specialty at this restaurant. Chunks of avocado, onions, tomatoes, cilantro and jalapenos with lime juice and salt. So delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed this appetizer. 5/5 Birria tacos are not on the menu. But they have the best in my humble opinion. Seasoned but not greasy and salty. They fill up the taco shells with lots of meat. The meat is tender, succulent, seasoned well, and plentiful. The consommé is delicious and not greasy or too salty. 5/5 Lunch chicken fajitas were steaming hot delivered with a plate of refried beans, Mexican rice, lettuce, pico, sour cream and guacamole. The fajitas were seasoned well, not too salty and absolutely delicious. 5/5 Michelada was on my mind. I haven't had one in a while. Their Michelada was made with Modelo and Clamato with tajin on the rim. Delicious!!! 5/5 If you like guacamole and birria tacos. Please stop by to check out the foods. They have great drinks and drink prices too. 5/5

My daughter and I had birria tacos and my husband got carne asada tacos. They were great and plentiful. The cheese dip did leave a little to be desired, not super flavorful but not terrible. Chips and salsa were good and as per usual, filled us up. The Mexican is authentic and we were grateful to have leftovers for later. It's a quiet little spot with friendly staff. You won't be disappointed

ORIGINAL REVIEW I stopped by and had a Cuban Papa Rellena (look it up), it was delicious but a little on the high side in pricing. Chef was a Cuban Lady and she made me feel right at home. Need to go back and eat some real food and not just an appetizer. Has the potential to be very good if it doesn't break your wallet!
