I really love this place! They have the friendliest staff, plenty of seating and has a great vibe. The menu is diverse and you'll quickly narrow it down to your favorite plates. I ordered the sausage & cheese omelette with home fries and it was a huge plate. The sausage didn't overwhelm the eggs and the cheese was nicely melted in the omelette. I'm on keto but I had to try the home fries and the seasoning was delicious! I then shared the rest of the with my friend. If there is one thing that brings me back is the Mexican coffee. A nice little hidden spot in Santa Clarita. Went in on a Friday night for dinner. I am glad that we did. There were only a few people in the place which is sometimes room for pause. But in this night, it just means that it was easier to get service. The bean dip and salsa with the chips to start was just fine. I ordered the chicken burrito wet with a red and green salsa. The green salsa had great flavor while there's was a little boring. I started with the Canela salad and it was very good with peaches and walnuts. I ordered the small salad and it was huge. The burrito was huge. My friend got the carne asada plate and guess what, it was huge. You will not leave here hungry. I tried the guava margarita. It was way too sweet for me. Pretty empty on a Monday morning. All servers were friendly. Food was pretty good, no complaints here. The kids devoured the pancakes and crêpes. Well, I gladly ate that big plate of chiliquiles and potatoes. I had them recommended which sauce, which was a great choice. The poblano sauce was creamy and delicious. I ordered the red chilaquiles with carne asada, eggs, and a side of charro beans. The charro beans were good and had a slight sweetness to them. I would give them a 6.5/10. The chilaquiles were decent, but the red sauce was very mild and leaned more toward a tomato flavor than a traditional spicy chile sauce. They seem like a good choice for someone who does not enjoy much heat, but they were not quite my cup of tea. The carne asada was seasoned well, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the green salsa on the side was good. I just wish the overall dish had a little more kick. 7.5/10. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the flan. The texture seemed off and reminded me more of cheesecake than traditional flan. It also did not have the flavor I was expecting. 4/10. So I put corn. Order was delivered. No potatoes. Receipt says only 2 sides. Called and the lady on the phone stated that the tortilla was the second side. I explained that it does not let you unmark the tortilla on their website. She said well on the menu at the restaurant tortillas are extra. Which I then explained I ordered online and it does not state that it is extra and does not give you an option to opt out of tortilla. She just kept arguing that at the restaurant it's extra. Went for brunch. Looked up the menu on their website beforehand to see what they have to offer and how much their prices have increased. When I was seated at the restaurant and was looking through the menu, their prices have significantly gone up. So I took pictures of the updated menu for those interested in dining here. I feel their are better brunch/breakfast choices to choose from. But my party really likes this place, so thats why I came. If you want over priced, easily made mexican dishes, this is your place. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The food is honestly horrible, no flavor and not fresh. All this food has to be microwaved. The potatoes were definitely frozen and were still hard when served. The coffee is the worst coffee I have ever had in my life. Finally was able to try this place after it has been in my top list of places to try. I had a very good experience and definitely 5 stars all around for me! For my food I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with shredded chicken, and added one egg, and refried beans for my side.
