    Gnocchi bolognese

A very nice choice for an Italian meal in Paris. It's located in a very active area quite near the Opera subway station and several large department stores. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and spoke quite good English. The menu was viewed via a QR code, so you need to connect to the restaurant WiFi if you haven't activated your international data plan. I had a cosmopolitan cocktail which was tasty and strong. I had the gnocchi bolognese entree which was delicious. Piping hot with a rich, meaty bolognese and perfectly cooked gnocchi. We also tried the Margherita pizza which was outstanding!! Amazingly delicious cheese and just the right amount of a flavorful sauce. The crust was a perfect combination of soft, bubbly, and crunchy. For dessert we tried the amaretto tiramisu. Amazing amaretto taste, but it was an unusual texture with a kind of sticky foam rather than the usual combination of cake and cream. Not bad but different. Overall, though, this was a great Italian meal in Paris!

Excellent Italian food with a good vibe. Pizza and Pasta are legit. Great fair prices. We will definitely return!

I had a pasta can't remember the name but it had mushroom and ham and it was DELICIOUS!! My mom had a lasagna and WOW!!

I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND it was really great and the workers know English so it was really easy to order all you have to do is translate the menu and you're good to go. It was a very relaxed and really warm (we got seated next to a heater) Overall would come again!!

Carpraccio - comes in petite or large. Fresh. Squeeze of lemon and their olive oil = perfecto! Cute

Not many reviews posted but the octupos salad was what we were seeking. My husband is Italian and he said this is fantastic Italian restaurant! Service is above and beyond and staff all around friendly! What an an adorable and clean restaurant.

Amazing food, decent service, modified order with a smile and catered to both locals and visitors. Will be back!

Bread (complimentary) & olive oil with chili (spicy. Beware!)

Fast warm excellent service.. Ambience :very homey -family type setting , though it could be more italian music is played. Server was knowledgable and recommend perfect dishes for first timer. Large portion on all dishes. Pesto linguine could be more on the salty side. But the squid salad was superb; squid was not chewy even though it is cold salad. (if you like squid) Bolognese sauce wqs just perfect & penne was well cooked. The margherita Pizza was so-so; perhaps different kind of pizza next time. Tiramisu and chocolate (dark) ice cream

We arrived and quickly were seated. Our order taken and two Gnocchi dishes were served. They were both fresh, hot and looked great! They tasted even better than they looked. Quattro fromage, and carbonara gnocchi. Both dishes tasted wonderful, fresh worth returning for another dinner! Staff was friendly and service was busy! A place not to miss!

This is where the locals dine! The clam pasta was so tasty, cooked to perfection. The Italian salad was so fresh, we didn't need dressing. Pairing the meal with local wine, and we have a perfect lunch in Paris! Be prepared to speak French, as most of the wait-staff do not speak English.

I'm such a tourist I was impressed by pasta straws! Seriously - this was the first place I stopped by in Paris as I was just walking down the street and I'm glad I did. They left a great impression. The pasta was very delicious

We really really enjoyed this restaurant. Of course we found it on yelp and it wasn't far from where we were (we were near the Opera house when hunting for food). We walked up to this restaurant and it was fairly early so they only had 2 other tables of customers when we got there. We were seated right away and our waitress was great. I got linguine bolognese and my husband ordered lasagna. Both of our dinners were excellent. Our waitress spoke Italian which made it really easy for me to talk to her. She did help us with a bit of French as well, which was cool. We got lucky in Paris and found exceptionally wonderful restaurants and this was one of the best. Would highly recommend to others!

Once we were sat the service worked a bit slow, but everyone was friendly and kind. The ambiance was vibrant. Cool. Not too loud. Not too bright. From the host who greeted me and accommodated my slight tardiness on my reservation, to the server who took my order. The vibes here are immaculate. It's very aesthetic. I would've preferred to be on the 4th floor but the 3rd floor was unique and pretty on its own. The bar was particularly eye catching. I was also very amused by my fish shaped water bottle. Regarding the food, it was really tasty. I was starving this day, and greedily ate the whole thing. The pizza had good flavor and you could taste the fresh ingredients. It was a little floppy as it was thin crust. Unfortunately they didn't cut the slices, so I had to do it myself. Not sure if that's intentional or not. The limoncello was especially refreshing on that hot day. Please note, I did have to request ice for my water. Evidently in Europe most restaurants don't provide ice freely like in the US. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, the allure of the restaurant, & the customer service. I highly recommend.

Every restaurant setup around this neighborhood felt romantic and had a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. Pebble stone streets elevated that effect. We walked-in around eight when the place was packed and were politely told to return in 30 mins which is when we were promptly seating on our very cozy table. Service was top-notch the minute we walked in this kid-friendly place. Our order was Burrata con parma o verdure, Risotto alle capesante, and Linguine Pollo e Funghi. Food arrived within 30-mins of ordering, and noise levels were on the lower end. Friendly staff, excellent service, and an on-the-house dessert left us very happy and pleased with the overall experience! Highly recommended!

It's more intimate, but I think has essentially the same menu (and you can also order pizza from Pizza Caratello next door). We came here twice (because it was so close to our hotel, and we enjoyed it so much the first time). I got the Rigatoni Amatriciana the first time, which was cooked to a perfect al dente and tasted great. The second time, I got a Pizza Napoletana, which was also excellent -- really nice crust. For dessert, I got the Flute Limoncello, which was very refreshing, especially given how warm a day it was. Service was very friendly and attentive. I heard a lot of Italian being spoken by staff, so it seemed pretty legit. I would highly recommend this place over the nearby Le Chinon, in terms of food and service.

I stumbled across it for the first time last May on vacation and was blown away. The place is small and cozy - and located down a cute residential street in Montmartre so away from the crowds. I hesitate to write this review as once this is discovered it'll be tough to get a table, but it's heartbreaking to walk a couple blocks away after a delicious meal and see the crowds eating at the many tourist restaurants in Montmartre totally oblivious to the culinary perfection so nearby! Now on to the food - I came here first last May and had Pesto Penne which I have dreamed about ever since then. Back in Paris again in January, I returned to have a squid ink spaghetti creation that I'm not sure can ever be topped. I love Italian food and have spent a lot of time in Italy and it's my go-to food in the U.S., and this restaurant is simply the best. Finally, the owner is incredibly awesome! He comes out to our table with a handwritten menu and explains all the dishes - everything is handmade and perfect! I wish I could give this 1,000 stars, seriously. If you are staying in Montmartre (or anywhere in Paris) you owe it to yourself to come here!!!!
