Wow, hate to write a negative review, but this was without doubt the worst meal of our 6 day stay in Paris and 16 days in France. Reading the other reviews, we thought we would have a pleasant dining experience, but the atmosphere, food and service were poor. We dined here ahead of a show at the Moulin Rouge. Service was slow, uncaring and inattentive. The pasta was gummy. Really there was nothing here enjoyable. The diners at the tables on either side of of us were loud, rude and using foul language. Skip if traveling solo. Asked if I could sit down (planned to order some wine, appetizer, entree and dessert); immediate reluctance, despite the two clearly empty tables and the additional table that was wrapping up and paying the bill. However I can understand on a Saturday night in a smaller venue, maybe they judged seating me wasn't worth it. I offered to do takeaway instead, which I was told would only take 5 minutes. I awkwardly stood by the door to wait. All of this wouldn't have been particularly offensive if not for the absolutely terrible pizza I had once I returned to the hotel. It was shockingly bad, looked nothing like the photos on the menu, more akin to a dollar slice in NY. Bland sauce, cheese was not giving fresh mozzarella, and the basil was nowhere to be seen. I haven't stopped thinking of this meal since I've left Paris. They say that all Italian food in Paris is good because you're so much closer to Italy but Dulcinea really stood out. First off, they're open 24/7. Who could beat that since most of Paris closes fairly early on the weekends. We came here at 9pm on a Sunday. I highly recommend ordering from their specials menu. I got a Gorgonzola + black truffle cream pasta and my boyfriend got the calamari pasta. They were both so out of this world delicious. So glad we decided to try out this hole in the wall!!! We also didn't order a pizza, but their pizzas looked so delicious. I kept eyeing the guy next to me's pizza. Now the ambiance is great, it's not spacious in there, but it's always packed and that's a great sign. And it's not a bad packed, it's a comfy packed! The staff also speaks English but they're also happy when you practice your French. 10/10 would recommend read more

After a full day of walking around, we knew we needed some fuel, and in a hurry. Dulcinea was nearby and I love Italian, so it was an easy decision to head over. The bread is pizza dough, straight up. There's nothing wrong with that, but slightly unexpected! I ordered the burrata and it was really lovely, with fresh rocket and tomato and a nice balsamic reduction. I also got the four cheese pasta, which I couldn't have finished even if I were any hungrier...! Really ample portions and very delicious food. Our server was prompt and attentive, even though we were seated outside the restaurant itself on the slim sidewalk. Really, at the end of a busy day, you can't ask for much better than a prompt, hot meal. read more

Yum! Very good pizza and pasta here! We stopped in for a bite while awaiting a tour. We got some caprese, the Quattro formaggi pasta, and the bresaola pizza. All so good! Unsure of what to eat on a busy Saturday night, my husband and I walked aimlessly down several streets. We happened to come across a great outdoor display of one intimate outdoor table and a very nice gentleman that greeted us as we viewed the outside menu. He did not pressure us to come in however, his smile was very welcoming and we felt compelled to stay. The inside was cozy and well decorated. We decided to eat outside. What a great decision. Perhaps we may be just used to American fast food, but my wife and I possibly just had the best pizza we've ever tasted! We tried the specials of the day and were delighted by the freshness of the ingredients and the soft crust. This restaurant has a soft ambiance, good inside seating, and an outside table which we thoroughly enjoyed while we people watched. The service was friendly and thoughtful. The owner, Lico, was very courteous and spoke English. This restaurant didn't disappoint. We ate here in June and the experience was excellent. We have 2 kids , 9 & 13, who are mildly (really not too bad) picky and we wanted something simple like pasta and pizza for dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and didn't rush us at all. We thought the pizza and the pasta we ordered were delicious. My kids had fairly plain pasta where I got a classic Quattro Formaggi pizza, which was delicious (the goat cheese was excellent), and my wife got got pasta bolognese which she loved. Strongly recommended for people with families and looking for simple but delicious Italian food in Montmartre. read more

Perfect! We had Rex at pink mama and and they closed for the night without any notice - so we walked aimlessly around the area trying to find good food and availability on a Saturday night. The staff here are like family. This is a comfy place with amazing food. I Almost didn't write this review bc it truly is a local secret. They make their own dough and have yummy pizzas/. Our group shated one as a starter! We orders cabanara, calamari pasta and another pasta dish. All were excellent! We also tried the burrata, tomatoes and salad with bread- so fresh!! Worst pizza and worst restaurant experience ever!! We asked for the pizza to be well done, didn't happen. We took the pizza home and the pizza was undercooked. Cheese wasn't even melted all the way. PLUS...pizza wasn't even cut into piece slices like ALL pizzas are. We went to the owner to explain the problem and he right away became defensive and started arguing with us, telling us we can't tell him how to make pizza. Really?!! We were simply letting him know we didn't get the pizza we asked for. He was a total ASSHOLE!!!!!! Don't eat here. They are rude and their food is horrible!!! This was a delicious meal while I was traveling solo to Paris from NYC. It was easy to find in an Uber, and I was seated immediately. (Again; it was just me.) I arrived around 9:30pm before the 11pm showing at Moulin Rouge so I imagine the rush was over. The risotto was amazing and the tiramisu was pretty good too. Would go again. Husband's pizza was a bit different with cold charcuterie (mortadella, prosciutto and spicy salami) on a cheese pizza. Wine, needless to say, was excellent. We were staying in a hotel nearby and had a craving for pasta. This beautiful place was right around the corner. It's a small, intimate, casual space. Incredible and friendly service with a "you're in the family" feel, and oh so delicious food. Fresh salads, incredible pastas and sauces, and scrumptious desserts. After a week traveling London and Paris, we had the most delicious meal of our entire trip at this quaint Italian restaurant a block away from the metro station and the Moulin Rouge. I don't remember the name of my dish, but it was an incredibly tasty creamy mushroom pasta where I added chicken for some protein. My husband ordered one of the specials on the little chalk board and it was divine. Risotto with fresh seafood... my mouth waters just thinking about it again! My mom seemed to really enjoy her lasagna - again off of the specials list. The bread was soft and warm, and was perfect for dipping in the delicious sauces from our entire party's pastas. My two children loved their rigatoni. I was especially happy that it was a safe place for nut allergies! The owner, Lico, was so friendly and personable. He made our night so memorable getting to chat with him. I'm only sad we went to visit on our last night in Paris, otherwise we would have gone there for more meals! I definitely recommend the pasta at Dulcinea, and will be coming back the next time we visit Paris. My tip is to order from the specials menu - they really are special! read more

I ordered the prawn linguini and my boyfriend got the house made ravioli. The linguini was fine but you can tell the prawns were old, they were mushy. Update: We went back again tonight for dinner and based on the hours listed here on Yelp, we thought they closed at 11:30pm. We get there at 10:30pm to a guy and a girl sitting in front of the restaurant smoking. As soon as we enter, the girl comes behind us and says "we close in 30 minutes." Not being sure of what that meant exactly, I asked if they were still doing pizzas and was told "yes, but we close in 30 minutes." We felt rushed the whole time which made for an uncomfortable experience which is really a shame especially after our first visit was so great. To make matters worse, after looking at their website, the guy she was smoking with was one of the owners, the smaller of the two. We finished and left at 10:55pm, but where did the customer service go from our first visit??? The pizza was still good, but because of the bad customer experience this time around, I changed my rating from 4 stars to 3. That kind of experience would keep me from going back, which is sad to say especially after our first visit. My wife and I were standing outside reading the menu and one of the waitresses come and helped us interpret. We were just looking for a simple but good pepperoni pizza. They didn't have just that on the menu, so she went back inside and asked. The chef said yes and went inside. They spoke a little English and we were able to communicate with our broken French and their broken English, but I must say, I'm glad we did. They were SO nice and the pizza was delicious!!! They even showed my wife how to connect to their wifi so she would have a faster connection while on her phone. Turns out that in Paris, you're liable to find a great restaurant next door to what I THINK is a strip club. After a cool rainy day in Paris we wandered up to Sacré Couer. Took the little train down and began to wander. Found this little gem off the bustle of the Main Street. Food was delicious!
