We ordered the lobster paella--meant for two, but honestly enough for four to share. We were expecting a whole lobster, but it came with just half, which was a bit disappointing. The octopus was my favorite--hard to go wrong and definitely a must-order. Parking is a bit tricky, but they offer $5 valet which helps. Overall, not a bad experience--a cozy spot with a nice vibe

Enjoyed the outdoor seating area for drinks and appetizers. The servers did a great job of recommending their favorite dishes and we were not disappointed. I recommend checking the website for specials and events.

OK, the first tip is that you have to use the valet. Don't bother looking for parking or anything. It's very affordable and they'll protect your car. Now, for the important part, which is the food. It was freaking Amazing Perry. I am a breathtaking by how delicious the food was. We started with the patatas bravas, the jamón Serrano, Crockett's. Yo, but the show stealer before the show steer. Where the drinks. They have awarded winning drinks in this place! I can't remember the name, but I had a passionfruit drink, and then a pisco sour. Both are elegance wrapped around in the passion of Latin America. Of course, we came for the paella and I had to make an adjustment because I do not like shrimp. I cannot eat shrimp, and they made it so we had the muscles, the clams, the chorizo, and the lobster and squid, and oh my God. It was so delicious, so scrumptious . Dios mío, bendito que ricura. Really loved this place and it's really romantic inside too, so bring a date. Bring a coworker. Whatever it is that you have bring it because this place is gonna be delicious. You bring your come for the drinks. You come for the food. You come for the ambience. You come to relax.

Totally awesome dining spot in the middle of a super busy street. No parking anywhere but fortunately. They offer valet for $5 at the door which is VERY convenient! We ordered a few empanadas, tapas and paella. We also had the pitcher of their passion fruit sangria. Everything was amazing!! The sangria left a lot to be desired unfortunately. Totally watered down, tastes similar to a watery juice with no alcohol! Would def return for their paella!! Great service also! They don't rush you, allow reservations and offer indoor and outdoor seating! Hidden gem!

My boyfriend and I were in town and decided to celebrate our anniversary here. This was such a cute spot, I wish we could visit again! We had the kindest server!! I can't remember his name from the card he gave us but I think it started with a G! He truly made our experience there the best it could be. I loved that the staff here all works well together and helped out with our table. We ordered a few different things but they started us off with complementary bread. The butter for the bread was amazing and slightly sweet but the bread itself was a bit hard. Our food started coming out pretty quickly after that. The scallops were cooked well but I wasn't in love with the sauce and the potatoes with it. Both the calamares and croquettes were great! I loved how they presented everything so nicely. The star of the show was definitely the lobster. It was cooked so perfectly and full of flavor. I've never ordered a whole lobster before and loved it! We also ordered a bottle of their house wine and I wish I would've asked for one to bring home! It was so easy to drink. They even brought us out a sample of their house made white wine to try too which was also great. We ended the night with flan that our server recommended. It was the perfect texture and not too sweet! I wish I could come back again to this place sometime soon!

Hitting all the marks! Clouds of potato croquetas, delicate paprika'd morsels of pulpo, sweet skilled bartenders and what, Maria cookies dessert! Unpretentious fun spot with authentic Spanish food in Newark!

The staff was really friendly and the food was as good as they said. We were there on our way to Upstate NY coming from Newark Airport. All three of us had seafood and all three of us were very happy with the food and service.

We showed up during happy hour they had really good deals my favorite thing was the stuffed avocado followed behind the empanadas as well as a friendly bar like atmosphere

Went to Casa d'Paco in Newark for lunch with a group of 8, and we had a really enjoyable experience overall. The vibe is casual and welcoming, with a fun, lively atmosphere that's perfect for groups. The food is served tapa-style -- reminiscent of the classic "topper topps" approach -- and it worked really well for sharing. Most of the dishes were excellent, but the standout was definitely the crab cakes -- perfectly crisp on the outside and full of flavor inside. The white sangria was also a big hit -- refreshing and not too sweet, just right for a mid-day meal. Service could use a little tightening -- while staff were friendly, things moved a bit slowly and there were a couple of missed cues. That said, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than made up for it. Definitely worth a visit, especially with a group!

The tapas here are tasty and the standouts for me were the patatas bravas and zamburinas. Several people at our table also got a meat dish on the specials menu which was so tender. If I came back that would probably be my order if it was available. The langosto from the specials menu was good but it wasn't quite what I expected based on the menu description. Overall everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed their food. Allergen advice: be very specific if anyone in your party has allergies as the kitchen was not as knowledgeable about nut/legume allergies as we would have hoped. We were told they were serving dishes that he could not eat because they have nutmeg (which isn't a nut or legume product). And then his dinner came out with peas on top (a legume). This was fixed promptly and he did not end up having a reaction to anything he ate.

We really enjoyed eating here, the tapas were all good, the croquetas were absolutely fabulous and highly recommended. The red sangria was delicious and we would have had more but had to leave. When we get back to Newark definitely will be stopping back again.

We had a large group with so much food. Service was good and attentive. Sangria was tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood. Also lots of seating but not good parking.

Most recently was last night and that was my last straw. The music was incredibly and unnecessarily loud which they knew because they told us they'd turn it down before we got the chance to ask. Next, there was one waitress on the floor, clearly overwhelmed. Told us she would be back with water but came back almost 20 mins later. We ordered our wine when she came back because who knows how long it would take to receive it. Another 20 mins, maybe more. We watched her seat several groups and I literally had to scream across the room to get her attention and to remind her of the bottle we ordered, which she had the nerve to appear annoyed about. We asked her if we could move from our tables to a nearby couch which she said yes. Before we had a the chance to finish the bottle the GM comes over and tells us to move our seats and that he would take care of us (NEVER DID NOR DID HE CHECK IN). This is the same GM who asked me to give the place another try after the last issues we encountered where they screwed up our checks due their own carelessness. I should've raised more of an issue and questioned him more. But nevertheless we move to these two musty smelling seats. At that point we left and decided that would be the absolute last time. For this particular event it was ticketed at $30 and in order to be seated we had to purchase a bottle of wine. Luckily it wasn't too pricey and since we got there early we were able to get a seat still and order a bottle of wine for $58.10 with gratuity included. The service was excellent and they would come check in on us. We were able to close our tab with no issues when we were ready to leave. As for the R&b night it was a nice vibe. Definitely perfect for a girls night out as well as a date night. If you are single and looking to mingle I'm not sure this event is it. There was definitely more women there than men and most of the men there seemed to be with someone. Overall consigliere is a cute and cozy spot. My sister and I agreed that we both would come back for more of a low key vibe when we want to grab some wine or a mocktail and when there is a non ticketed event. I think we are at the point where we like more low-key things and when things are not overly crowded.

If you're a party of six skinny people, you'll do just fine in the chairs. If you're fat Americans like us, it's going to be a tight squeeze. They do a really smart thing. The window seats are pushed a bit away from the windows, so that when the waiter comes to take your order, they don't block the middle aisle where people are trying to walk or carry stuff to tables. Brilliant idea, and one which I wish more would do. The chairs are those mid century modern rattan backed chrome bottomed office chair looking guys. They're comfortable enough, even for us fats, but the rattan was starting to wear out. Hopefully, they'll see to getting them serviced, because it makes the place look a bit ragged. The tables were a lovely size, with plenty of space for our drinks, our food, and the beautiful bespoke charger plates they had on the table with Sihana branding on it. They kept the TVs and other built in furniture from the old Kinjo that used to be here. When we went, the stuff on the TVs was pretty generic. This is fine. Not a lot of places know what to do with those TVs. Back when the location used to be KInjo, they played either K-dramas, Anime, or other such themed shows on there with subtitles, so that it keeps the place on theme. This is NOT an allergy friendly place. If you're vegan, you're going to get either the cocktails, or a dry salad. Also, there's cocktails that have honey, so watch out for that as well. The falafel sandwich, which should be vegan anywhere else you get it, has egg in it. Not ON it, but IN it. The fries are all cooked in shared oil. How shared is the oil? One of our table mates got a mild allergic reaction (she has a shellfish allergy), and had to grab a Benadryl when she got home. It wasn't bad enough for her eyes to close up and have to go to the hospital, but her face was getting flushed, and she started getting really itchy. I'm sure the food was fine. I've been with this group dining out several times. If they're seriously enjoying themselves, they'll usually be raving about what's on their plate, and let the waiter know how good it all was. That didn't happen here. Everyone LOVED the appetisers. That cheesy bread situation was a huge hit. The cocktails are strong, and beautifully made. Well balanced with the right blend of sweetness, tartness, and slight burn of alcohol. Absolutely no complaints there. When the bill came, there's a credit card processing fee. I'd say the place is good. Here's why they're getting full marks: The waiter let us know IMMEDIATELY that there will be nothing for me to eat. He didn't have to go to the kitchen to ask what was safe. He knew immediately that there's nothing at all on the menu that's safe for me. That level of knowledge tells me that you've got a waiter who takes pride in knowing his job, and does it to the best of his ability. You've got an absolute gem of a wait staff in general. I wasn't bothered, because I live very close by and can eat at home. Just know that I'll never set foot in there again. I'm not sure that anyone else would be too eager to go back either. I've been to steak houses that had more option.

First of all, it was so hot in there and we had to get up from the table so the fans could be turned on - something management should've acknowledged and excused themselves for. We came in, ordered hookah and drinks, and waited a really long time to order food. Our waitress did not speak English. I understand Elizabeth is a heavily Spanish-speaking area, but it's unacceptable to have a waitress who can't communicate to patrons properly, or to not even have someone be able to translate for her. I felt bad for her because it's management's fault, not hers. After forty minutes of sitting there, she comes over and gives us one singular paper menu - for the nine of us. On this menu it says "brunch menu - $49.99". Why were we given the regular menus and sitting there for almost an hour just to be told we had to order from this menu with only three appetizer and 5-7 entree options?? Our waitress was not only unable to communicate to us that we had to order from this menu, but did not understand when I was repeatedly asking for a manager. Eventually I had to stand up and go up to the man at the front who said he was the manager. I asked him why we have been sitting for an hour and just being told this, to which he did not acknowledge - he just told me we had to order from that menu or spend 50 dollars if we order from the regular menu. How are you gonna tell paying customers how much to spend? Ten minutes later, our waitress tells us that they don't even have 2 out of the 3 appetizers. So we're being forced to order off this menu and they don't even have all the options they're forcing upon us. At that point we just paid for the drinks and left. Obviously our business wasn't valued so we took our money elsewhere. The whole thing was so unprofessional and tacky.

We used the valet service, and upon walking inside, I noticed an older gentleman playing the piano in the foyer, which gave the place a really nice atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was busy, our wait was only about 5-10 minutes. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice how large the restaurant is. There are two bars and several separate dining areas that looked perfect for larger parties and special occasions. Once seated, we were served fresh bread while looking over the menu. I ordered the 32-ounce prime rib with A1 sauce, red peppers, and roasted potatoes. I also had the chance to try some of the sea bass. Both dishes were excellent. The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the sea bass was fresh and well-prepared. A special shoutout to our waiter, Milan, who was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout our meal. Overall, it was a fantastic brunch experience, and I will absolutely be back in the near future.

Our group ordered the Seafood Paella and had plenty for leftovers, stuffed sole, branzino, grilled octopus, salad and numerous drinks including their sangria. The Paella was full of flavor and a very large portion, two people ordered one to share and even sharing it with the other three in the group there was a ton left. The stuffed Sole was well sized and filled properly with shrimp, scallops and more. Highly recommend and it was cooked perfectly. The mash potatoes were a miss that came with it not seasoned and bland. The branzino was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The grilled octopus was a little chewy which was disappointing but it was packed with flavor and would try again. If you're in Newark and want an amazing meal, highly recommend this place just note it's not cheap but it's worth every penny.
