I wish I could give more than 5 stars!…read more I have been patient in looking to add a kitten/cat to our family and stumbled across Marigold on a fosters Instagram page which prompted me to submit an application. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

Coco had to undergo a fracture repair, and…read morewhile it was such a scary time, she is now doing well and I'm so excited to see her continue to recover and heal. Helping Paws Foundation truly changed everything for us. As a military family, unexpected medical costs can be overwhelming, and their financial assistance made it possible for Coco to receive the care she needed. What they do to help families stay together with their pets during difficult times is incredibly special and deeply appreciated. Dr. Souther provided amazing care and gave me so much confidence throughout the process. Christina, the executive director, was so gentle and attentive, and it was clear how much she truly cared. I will always be thankful for the compassion, support, and kindness we were shown. Coco is healing, and that means the world to us.

I found out about the Helping Paws Foundation during that emergency, and they have been an absolute Godsend! I am forever grateful for the work they do helping veterans like myself. As a single parent, an unexpected veterinary emergency is catastrophic, but having to choose between life and death because of financial constraints is one of the worst feelings in the world. I truly believe this organization was used by God to help keep our pup alive. I will forever be grateful. Thank you all so much. You are truly saving lives!

VTS ensures our military service members reintegrate back into civilian life and the civilian workforce into careers suitable for their level of military experience and economic sustainability. This is achieved by providing service members with effective tools to translate their military experience into recognizable civilian job skills, civilian certifications to transfer military experience into its civilian counterpart, identifying needed training to fill skill gaps and one on one mentoring in four critical areas required to sustain a successful transition: Career Development, Cultural Adaptation, Obtaining VA Benefits and Education Planning. The VTS goal is to seamlessly transition all military personnel who enter the Veterans Transition Support program prior to leaving military service through individual mentoring, career management, counseling, and weekend and evening programs that close skill gaps and provide networking opportunities with civilian hiring managers.
