We were pleasantly surprised to learn breakfast was included with hotel stay and it was fresh, delicious, filling, and had vegan options. I couldn't turn down their gourmet artichoke avocado toast so enjoyed two days in a row. We had dinner and say Casa 1810 Centro (their larger sister hotel) which had a closer view to the pretty pink church. I would highly recommend both places but for a cozy and completely pampered experience, I would stay at the Parque. Oh! And they also set up our private ride back to Mexico City for a good cost, driver had a brand new car and very nice.

When you walk in the entrance, you are greeted by artwork from the unaffiliated gallery. You walk in to reception, which is a simple desk. The staff was fantastic- they made me feel quite at home. They spoke English. The waitstaff was attentive and offered help at every chance. The room was clean, and was picked up daily. We got fresh apples and baked goods when we checked in! In the basement is a (by reservation only) tequila bar that's sponsored by Jose Cuervo. They have the complete collection of collectors' boxes in the basement. The artwork was all fun and for sale. I enjoyed the prints of the lady with armadillos on her head. On the rooftop is a wonderful restaurant / bar. The food is fantastic- breakfast is included, and the restaurant is top notch. Location is wonderful- steps from the zocalo and the town square. The streets are usually closed in front of this hotel, so transportation must be picked up a block away. The hotel was nice about getting us transit when needed. I can't wait to return!

The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff were kind and attentive. The pasta with pistachio cream and Meyer lemon was sublime as was the guacamole salad. We had a bottle of local wine and topped off the meal with lemon sorbet. We hate going to the same place twice while on vacation in fear of missing something else, but we MUST go back. A+

There were minor issues that had to be taken care of during the stay. Service was always responsive, but sometimes you needed to ask more than once. (Hopefully the next people staying at 22 will have that battery replaced for the safe in the room) It was amazing to have a single point of contact. Through WhatsApp, Victor made everything easy. The property itself is gorgeous. I missed the tour of the property upon check in, so I am sure I ended up only seeing a fraction of it since most of my time was off property. Their Dia de los Muertos dinner in a large tented area in the back turned out to be an absolute must-do. The food was outstanding, and they kept you entertained for the entire evening. The walk to Centro was short enough to make everything feel close by, and eventually you got to know the streets enough to make the vertical challenge less of an issue. Dining, or at least having a drink, at Luna Rooftop is an absolute must. It gives you a view of the entire Centro of SMA which is something more encompassing than the painted wonders of the closer restaurants in town.

We love the area, the staff and accommodations. We found families can rent houses but you are too far out unless you have a car. Parking is tough and taxis have to be called of in residential areas. This works perfect for our needs

Not sure if this is because they filter their water additionally somehow or they were just in another area of town. Hard to feel clean when the water you're using smells like toilet water... and this smell unfortunately lingers on your skin Other than that issue, I would 100% recommend this place. Maybe the owners will see this review and find a way to fix this problem. It's clear they lovingly planned this place with the utmost hospitality in mind for their guests and it's a shame that the experience is marred by the unsanitary water

They were hospitable and gave great service with ironing our clothes, bringing us food, and even agua fresca. Definitely returning here again! Oh- the street view has a few shops but nothing too busy and you can see the back of the church! 5 min walk from main church.

Our Petite Suite was honestly a joke when it comes to the size and hardly suitable for two people. It has no room to move around and we had no space to put down two luggages. There was also hardly any space in the bathroom. For $24 per night we upgraded to what I believe was a Jr. Suite which was perfect. Our other room was the Grand Master Suite which was huge and super comfortable for 3 people (with one sleeping on the couch). Their breakfast which is included in the hotel cost is top notch and so delicious. I loved the service and the food and it made it so much easier than finding something in town everyday. The hotel does have a spa but their menu is limited and expensive and their service descriptions were hard to comprehend. Overall, it was an amazing choice in town and I highly recommend it.
