I've been in San Marcos for 10 years and had no idea this was here. I saw some of their tacos when I was getting my haircut at the barber shop they had them for breakfast. They look so good and compelled me to come over here and try it out. Let me tell you I am very impressed homemade tortillas the ratio of meat potato egg and cheese was balanced. Perfect hole in the wall Mexican restaurant you want to visit for a good Mexican breakfast and salsa. The dining room is spacious and clean, and painted very bright. The menu is straight forward with its food item, nothing fancy here. I had the bobcat tacos, filled with chorizo and egg, potatoes, and American cheese. Worst customer service ever. Came here to celebrate Mother's Day. It was somewhat busy and waited an hour and a half to get our food. The food arrived spread out so we all ate at different times. They forgot some of the food and what we did get was very cold. Don Lorenzo's daughter took our payment and when we told her the customer service was lacking especially on a special day like Mother's Day, she said we could blame President Biden for it. I love this place so much. My friends and I came here after a heavy night of drinking one time and we made it a tradition to come back after every night of drinking we spent together, and we're never disappointed. Their breakfast tacos are wonderful and the people who work here are always so friendly and kind. My friend even had her brunch here after she graduated! Tasty and cheap breakfast. Love their pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. Their eggs and sausage are the least greasy of all the mom and pop Mexican food places around here. Migas are definitely recommended, the tortillas are house made. We always walk right in and can sit down right away. Havn't tried their tacos, but I am next time. After seeing all the positive reviews here I was kind of disappointed to see beans that looked like they were straight from a can and half hearted carne guisada. It seems like the place is more focused on catering to large groups quickly than making authentic mexican food. Pricing was par with most other mexican joints though, and their soups looked amazing. Worst customer service!! The first time I had order over the phone I told them exactly what I wanted... when I got there I was missing a lot of stuff first thing lady said well you didn't ask for it and I was like yes I did well can I get some etc... she roll her eyes! Let it go that time... after that every time I order over the phone they always always give me a hard time. But this last time I was there lady at the cashier started arguing with me. They had my order all wrong and it was not even ready she had the audacity to say I can refuse service to you. I'm not going to argue and I said you shouldn't I'm the customer you want to refuse service because YOU have my order wrong and I'm answering your questions and my order is not even ready even though I order 20 minutes ago go right ahead!... I don't know what her problem was... never going back to that place again!! Don Lorenzo needs new employees. This place is great for Tex-Mex it opens up early in the morning and closes right after noon. However everything on the menu is delicious and its not pricey at all. I live down the street from this place and i have been going every other day on my way to work or on my way to school. Definitely recommend y'all checking it out. This this was just pitiful the employees are nice but their just to off task we had to ask four times for silverware and the prices for the a la carte is just inflated for the size. A pico de gallo is almost 6 dollars and the size that they offer is offensive in hindsight. My food was covered in water which made the eggs soggy. The potatoes were also underdone. I'd rather go to a McDonald's and pay $30 then pay $30 for some soggy-ass food, at least McDonalds doesn't cover their food in water. read more

They have a really good breakfast tacos here and the Migas plate is great as well (add jalapeños) ! The salsa is spicey and flavorful too. You can get a good bowl of menudo and caldo as well on the weekends, if you want either of these get there early. read more
