This thrift store is truly a hidden gem. The prices are incredibly fair, and to choose from. What stood out to me the most, though, wasn't just the great selection, it was the heart behind the business. While I was there, an unhoused man came in looking for warm clothing for the night. Without hesitation, the owner (I'm assuming) immediately stepped in, helped him find everything he needed, and kindly told him he didn't have to pay for any of it. HOWEVER lose 2 stars because of the jerk who is always in the boutique store. Hispanic guy with a mustache. Twice I brought something to the register to buy and he snatched it out of my hands saying I couldn't have it! what?! I was shocked the way he tore it from me. Bargain Shoppers' Delight!!! If you enjoy thrift shopping and are looking for crazy deals, this is the place to be! My environmentally conscious teenager is encouraging everyone to buy used clothing to save resources and reduce waste, among many other ethical reasons, so I'm now more open to buying second-hand stuff. Plus, we get to save money. It's a win-win. Casa De Kathy has at least 4 large hanging racks filled with 2 for $1.00 clothing. They also have accessories and other knickknacks, some new, for around $1. The clothing prices in the store are $2-$8 plus. We found some cute stuff (all size small, though). These prices are extremely rare in California where the average gas price is $6, so I was very surprised! The people working here are super nice. Very laid back vibe. The location is safe and clean. I would personally describe the entire shopping center as a luxury discount plaza with gorgeous views of rolling hills in the background. Even though this small adorable boutique is about an hour away, I would drive there only to shop. What drew my attention was a rack outside that was completely stocked with name-brand jeans. I looked at the price and saw that it was two for one dollar!!! I'm talking about well-known brands like Levi's, Hudson Jeans, 7, and so on.... I'm a big shopper, so I've never seen anything like what I witnessed today. The shop is small in size, but don't let that mislead you. There's a lot of good stuff in there for everyone. It's so well-organized and clean there, it nearly seems like a boutique, so I'm confident you'll be able to create something spectacular. But, to be honest, it's the largest thing that sets them different from any other secondhand store I've visited. Jody has to be the kindest customer service representative. Great price and fairly organized for a thrift store! Most clothing are less than $10! Love how they separate everything in color and clothing type~ Was a bit confused at first since there was no price tags on the clothes, but they have prices listed on a white board at the register by item. The tags on the clothing are color coordinated to the price. I found a cute t shirt ($2) and a sweatshirt ($4). This thrift store is a smaller size so it's easy to look for clothing. I feel very bad leaving this review. Our family loves frequenting this store and we love most of the staff. Everyone here is really nice and the money supports a good cause. This review is specifically aimed at manager Jeff. Jeff has treated my family (specifically my mother) with nothing but disdain since they have started shopping here. He overhead her mention that we were Catholic and now takes opportunities to make off hand remarks about our faith - even going so far as to say "Every Catholic bible should be burned". He also refuses to sell us things we ask about purchasing - saying they aren't for sale. However when we come back in staff will mention that he sold it to someone else right after we left. Very discriminating. This world needs more love and cooperation between people of faith - not hate and division. We attempted to contact the office to let them know that he really needs to be spoken to regarding his attitude... but the woman working there never followed up with us like she promised. I feel very sorry Jeff - he's always in a poor mood and treats people as such. I've seen him make staff cry and apparently the women who work there are afraid of him. I was hoping to get the attention of the owner / ceo of Casa de Kathy (please contact me and I will remove this review). I don't want Jeff to lose his job but if he cannot figure out how to deal with people in a respectful manner then perhaps he should be moved to a position with less personal interaction. read more

I liked this little place. It's jammed packed with clothes and no fitting room but clothes where $1-2 bucks .... can't beat that. I bought so much clothes for $40. I didn't like 4 pieces but you can return them. I just donated them. It was awesome. I loved the variety. If your looking and are patient to look at ALL the clothes then you will find cute stuff. Name brands aren't great but they are just what I needed for the summer (tank tops|T-shirts|shorts). Loved it. My sister was over it (she hates going through all the racks) so it's all about patience and what you are into. Great finds. FYI: people working there are amazing (I'm not a big god fan of any kind but they had Christian music). I wasn't uncomfortable with it... Love this place!!!! It's time to start school clothes shopping, and I usually dread this time of year, between the clothes and school supplies it can get expensive, but not this year!!!! My 14 year old daughter and I got 4 jackets, a dress, 2 pairs of jeans and 9 tops for under $30... I am thrilled beyond belief. My friend shopped for her 3 teens and got a lot more stuff than we did, and they spent under $40.
