Felt like we were sitting in Italy under all the vines and trellises. We joined for the sourdough pizza on Friday nights (this might be a summer-only thing?) Each pie was so good! All the ingredients and toppings are fresh, locally sourced, and you can tell! This is a VERY kid friendly place. Nearly every table had children - newborns and toddlers mostly. Only negative I have to say is that due to how popular the pizza nights are, we were asked to give up our table and as we told the manager that we'd leave in a moment he then pushed further saying that a party was waiting for our exact table right then. My freezer department was failing to remain frozen. The upper ice maker also had stopped working, but it was a secondary issue. Elad diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the freezer department repair. Parts were ordered on a Thursday and the repair was completed on the next Tuesday. Elad also told he believed the ice maker would start working within a week, as he felt the repair completed were related. He also gave me a second estimate in case it didn't but suggested I wait. The ice machine started making ice after 5 days which was a great ending. Very impressed with this company and Elad. It is a pleasant surprise to find a technician with integrity that doesn't make unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this business and would use them in the future if needed.

After our beloved senior dog crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year and when we were finally…read moreready to adopt another dog we scoured several area rescues looking for a dog that fit what we were looking for. We thought we found the one at Doggie Bonez. We initially reached out via the website asking for more info on a specific dog. After a day with no response, we filled out an application because we were serious about adopting and called to follow up. Our calls went unanswered and unreturned. A few days later we reached out via social media and finally got a response from a volunteer. However, everything is managed and run through Jackie so the volunteer offered to reach out to her. Several days later Jackie finally texted. We were so excited! She confirmed the dog was still available, offered to get us updated photos and coordinate with the foster family about setting up a time to meet the dog. Days went by with no reply from her. We reached out again with no reply. At this point we decided to cut our losses and move on. We had been trying to get even the most minimal information for nearly two weeks and ultimately we were ghosted. I understand being the point person for an entire rescue organization can be daunting but a simple acknowledgement that she was working on it or it was on her to do list would have gone a long way. Opening our hearts and home to another dog was a big deal for us and part of our journey to heal after loosing our best boy. Our experience with Jackie and Doggie Bonez was an emotional rollercoaster of being hopeful and excited then being let down with silence. The whole experience was traumatic for me and I would caution anyone choosing to engage with this particular rescue. These dogs deserve loving homes so I wouldn't discourage anyone from adopting but it would be remiss if I didn't share our experience. I hope we were the exception and not the rule to how this rescue is run.

This lot has about 10 spaces and part of that 10 belongs to the Smoke Shop. This thrift stores has plenty to offer! From large framed prints for the wall to roller skates. Plenty to look at. There is an upper level where furniture, wall hangings to glassware is displayed. It's pretty roomy up there even with the furniture. I found the prices to be reasonable too. I would have like to purchase a couple of large wall pieces home, but I had no room to pack in my car since I was camping. The wall pictures I found to be priced lower than I expected! That's a plus. At the front of the store on the front porch were anything on wheels and outdoor furniture. You can tell the store has been there awhile. But it was well organized and clean. The staff were all friendly. The staff are men who are making a positive change in their lives. This place gives them the opportunity to work. This store has a sister store a building over, The Restoration Store. Go check that one out too.

He made our experience so memorable, we laughed, we smiled, we cried (I'm kidding about the crying). He cut me a deal on the 10" pan lid that was unmarked, and I offered a dollar, and Jesse offered a coin flip. I won! 75cents for the pan lid instead of $2 Then he did the coin flip for my friend! Which she lost out on the deal. It was very fun. Good variety items always, great prices, and Jesus music on the stereo. Love la Tienda.

Kahuna Cares is a great local charitable foundation that helps support children with autism and…read moretheir families. In honor of the "Big Kahuna" Terry "the Tubesteak" Tracy, his family has honored this surf legend through this charitable foundation. Last night, they put on a terrific concert (their 10th concert) at the beautiful Shorecliffs Golf Course in San Clemente. There were some awesome bands performing for charity, including: Skataway, the Flys, Common Sense, and English Beat. The event was hosted by the Poorman (former KROQ DJ) who did a great job. The event started with a group of amazing cheerleaders who have special needs. Overall great event and wonderful charity. Look forward to attending next year.

Everything is organized nicely and the displays are beautifully done. As I walked in, I immediately saw some bowls (red!) that I wanted. But I left them there, and if I worked my way back to the front of the store and they were still there I would get them. I liked that the clothing racks weren't too cramped. I liked that everything was in its place, shoes all in one spot, same with housewares etc... the store is well lit. Very cute store and I could find myself definitely returning here. Parking again, is an issue if you don't come early. Love the staff's friendliness and I bought the red bowls!
