One Del Taco team member I want to shout out is Ky. Every time I come in and Ky is working, he always has a smile on his face, is always professional, works hard, and goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. He has a great attitude and takes real pride in what he does, and that doesn't go unnoticed. That kind of effort makes a difference and turns a quick stop into a genuinely positive experience. Employees like Ky deserve to be recognized and appreciated.

Stopped by after a long shoe shopping trip. This place is in a very busy area , so you would think…read moreit would be crowded as it's relatively new, but I was the only one there until I was about to leave and then two other diners arrived. The reason for its lack of patrons is definitely due to how difficult it is to get in and out of the parking lot. It is close to a traffic light and NOBODY will let you in OR out. Florida is not known for its friendly drivers. Asked the young man what his favorite item was and he couldn't say one thing. Not necessarily a good sign. I kept prompting him and he finally said the fish taco but I'm honestly not sure he had eaten anything there. Lol, he kept looking at the other staff like " Come and help me here." So I got two fish tacos and a cheese and beef burrito with green sauce. For some reason their menu was difficult to read due to lettering size. So I AI'd it and that's what they told me to try. Fish taco was a good fast food taco. Nice crunchy fish and cole slaw. They are not Weight Watcher friendly. Burrito was a burrito. Plain ( minimal green sauce) and too much cheese. Not a fan. Their own packaged hot sauces were tasty. The place and its bathroom was spotless. I liked the fact that they employed both young people and senior citizens. If I return I will have read the menu at home so I can make better choices.

Traveling through Florida on my way to Bonita Springs, and I searched Yelp for a fast casual place…read more 3 Pepper Burrito came up. I arrived just after they opened at 10:30 am. The restaurant was very clean (I would hope so as they had just opened) and the dining area was attractive and brightly decorated. My burrito was excellent. although I had planned on ordering a black bean burger burrito but ended up with just a vegetarian burrito. When the employee asked first my protein choice and I said, "Black bean burger" he seemed confused and said he didn't think they had black bean burgers as a protein choice. I pointed at the menu where it was clearly listed as a protein choice, but he just mumbled something that I didn't understand and shook his head. So I just ordered a burrito with rice, pinto beans, corn, tomato, cheese salsa and guacamole. I began to suspect that maybe the employee was new, because he had a lot of trouble folding my burrito and finally had to start over with a new tortilla. Actually I can't fold a burrito properly either so I'm not complaining, just noting that he seemed to be new. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty. I also got chips and salsa and chipotle ranch sauce. My food was better than Chipotle with more choices. I would definitely return here.

Once we got three words out of them, they were slightly pleasant. The food was good, but not great. I loved the nachos, but my husband says the burrito was just okay. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, so there is the extra star for that. Service goes a long way, not a great start for a first visit.

The hamburger and fries are good but the ordering system and automated beverage dispenser sucks!…read more You can only order your meal by touch screen. For older customers this can be extremely difficult and frustrating!! I finally gave up trying to add a shake to my order. No customer service person to ask any questions or help. I saw several elderly people walk out without ordering. I saw another elderly person get help in ordering from a cook but it took nearly 15 minutes to place the order. It was comical! After you order you have to scan a bar code to get the drink machine to turn on. No free refills. Seems like this place is looking to go completely automated. I can imagine in a few months there will only be robots cooking and self service touch screens! I will avoid this place in the future.

Just a bunch of big screens and no cashiers. No menu overhead. Just on the big touchscreens. Oh, and some alarm was going off, maybe for fries or something, and no one was cooking either. I'm pretty sure they wanted me to cook my own food too. Anyway, we turned around and left. Goodbye Steak 'n Shake and any other place that thinks we want to do business this way. HINT sell their stock while you can!
