And only some seats were available at the bar It was hopping - staff members were moving in every direction. They were very pleasant and seemed happy to be there and be busy. The bartender was awesome -he was being pulled in so many directions. Making drinks for peeps at the bar, plus the whole restaurant too ! We ordered margaritas, it was happy hour - sooo 2 for 1 - decent size ones I might add. The place had an awesome aroma- Food was be carried in every direction. We had the guacamole made table side, just the way we like it. Ordered stuffed jalapeños and also jalapeños wrapped in bacon - they were a must try for all. spicy and tasty. The bartender Elias like I said was was super busy, but did find time to socialize with many of us at the bar. He was fun, kept us laughing as well as keeping the drinks flowing. Food portions were generous and the prices are more than fair. Look forward to returning especially for Happy Hours. There were some TVs they told me during football- they would put my team on if it was available. Plenty of parking out front. Dont miss the opportunity to stop in and see for yourself-

We asked to be sat inside (a nice break from the 93 degree temperature outside) and were led right to our table. Our server approached us immediately, asking for our drink order, but with their specials at the bar, we decided to walk up to the bar and get our own drinks. The restaurant was clean and was actually humming productively. Food was being run, tables were being cleaned, drinks were being served. Two of us opted for their version of a Grouper Reuben that they call the "Rocket"! DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS!!! Even the fries were hot and salted perfectly!! This sandwich IS CRAVE WORTHY! Our other party member ordered a Turkey/Bacon/Brie sandwich with fries that we were told was also outstanding! Not much else to say, we had an excellent experience and all I can say is great job by THE ENTIRE STAFF INCLUDING MANAGEMENT!

Wow... He was condescending, rude and obnoxious while insulting customers, dropping f-bombs and ignoring customers with his selective hearing. My wife doesn't even want to come here after his behavior on multiple occasions! I don't care how long your "valued" bartender has been with your company. Sometimes you must make a change for the betterment of the company and for the customer. Loyalty has its limits and customer experience should dictate your response, not blind loyalty.... Texas Best Barbecue - Baby back ribs tasted oven cooked, not from the smoker. Collards too spicy as was the Klobasa.

Real Texas BBQ in southwest Florida - Finding great bbq in Florida can sometimes be a daunting…read moretask, I've eaten lots of bbq and consider myself somewhat of an bbq aficionado having enjoyed bbq across this great country, every region has their own unique and different styles so believe me when I say all bbq is not created equal. Texas bbq has always been at the top of my list after traveling and working in Texas for decades and experiencing what I think is some of the best on the planet. I admit my expectations were pretty high long before I walked through the door here - just from the exterior and interior ambiance I immediately knew these people are serious bbq people and some of the friendliest you'll ever meet. In my opinion eating bbq should be an experience yes the meat preparations are of the utmost most importances but the sides, and desserts also have to be on point as well and of course fresh brewed tea. I wanted to try it all which is not reasonable so I read the menu, scanned the daily specials board(s) and also considered the recommendations by our wonderful server. We enjoyed some great sandwiches and sides and couldn't of had a better lunch during our drive through southwest Florida. Chopped Brisket Sandwich - the bun was fresh and toasted perfectly so it held up to the sauce that I drenched on the beautifully smoked meat, the lean to fat ratio was absolutely perfect and the smoked flavors came through making this one of the best bbq sandwiches I've eaten in a very long time. Pulled Pork Sandwich - the perfectly smoked pork was piled high and very lean, this is a big and delicious work of art. We ordered the sauce on the side so we could control the portion and it worked out great. Pinto Beans - these beans are cooked down until they melted into the smooth and creamy broth that was filled with onions and jalapeño peppers - these are a must try especially if you top them with some fresh raw onion and a few dashes of the Tabasco Pepper Vinegar table side the only thing I regret is that I didn't get a quart of these to take back to the campground. Fried Okra - Crispy deliciousness a southern delicacy served with ranch dressing, this combination is never a disappointment when done right and they do the okra right here. It was nice to get pickles and raw onions on the side, in my opinion if a bbq joint misses this step they don't understand what a bbq experience should be. We really enjoyed our meals here and appreciated the hospitality from the staff, great food, great service all at a reasonable price is always a winning combination, this is definitely a place I hope to return to soon...

I started with the pain pill cocktail - their version of a pain killer. It was really tasty. It came in a very tall glass with some cinnamon sprinkle. The pineapple was fresh. While I looked over the menu, she brought out some warm crusty rolls with salted butter. Yummmmm. I was famished so I dug in. They had so many things on the menu I was a bit in information overload. I started with the coconut shrimp, which they say is a house specialty. The dipping sauce was interesting - like a cold coconut milk? The shrimp were butterflied and lightly fried. There is four on the plate. Pretty good. For dinner, I had the fresh catch with mashed potatoes and the zucchini medley. The medley had zucchini. squash, onions and red bell pepper in it. They have other sides like sweet potato as well. You get your choice of two. The entree came with a side salad. It was a small portion. It had some sweet candied nuts on it, with some shredded mixed cheese and a side of their house French dressing. Some of the pieces of lettuce were really long so it was kinda messy to eat. The red snapper was my choice of fresh catch. I asked for it grilled but the other option is blackened. The fish was a good portion. About 6 to 8 ounces. The mashed potatoes were delicious. I enjoyed my meal and I was too stuffed for dessert. But I saw the bread pudding with ice cream at another table. Wow! The scoop of ice cream on that dish was huge! The key lime ice cream pie sounded interesting and I imagine they have a good tiramisu. Next time I'll get dessert. Service was stellar. I was not bothered but I was checked on often for another drink and water etc. plates were cleared often but did not distract me. I really enjoyed being outside because they had a one man band playing guitar and singing so wonderfully. It's a gorgeous setting outside. A bit warm, but I was gross from golf anyways. They do have quite a few fans but I'm glad I was away from them. I hate when I'm trying to eat and it's all I can do to keep my hair from blowing in my face and mouth from overzealous ceiling fans. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Parking is a private lot out front and I easily found a space. This place was recommended by a coworker. I am so glad I took her recommendation!
