Great spot! There's lots of seating inside and outside, always great food tricks parked outside! Even the Girl Scouts set up outside and took all my money The drinks are great with lots of options and the events here are lots of fun. Love coming to this place and the staff are so kind.

This place is a gem! If you are looking for a cozy spot with retro vibes, this is it. The beer selection is excellent and make sure you get the popcorn. Very reasonable prices. Also lots of games! We played "Tucson-opoly" which was a fun local twist on a classic. Service was prompt and staff is very friendly!

You know, it's so easy to take for granted a place that you go to at least once a week, but I feel like it's time to shout to the world how much I LOVE Casa Film Bar. My friend group and I come just about every Tuesday for trivia (officially called SpeedQuizzing), and we love the competition. Each week, we get drinks from the massive rotating selection that Casa always has. I personally love trying new things every week, and I switch between getting drinks they have in cans/bottles and the drinks they have on draft. I'm partial to sours and ciders, and they always have a great selection of both. We sometimes take advantage of the great variety of food trucks that they have outside, but I love that they also have delivery of Fresco right to your table and several other restaurants within walking distance (Choice Greens, Graze, Raijin Ramen, Istanbul, to name a few) that you can grab and bring in to eat while you are at Casa. All of the bartenders are super friendly, eager to tell you about what beers they have at the moment that are good, chat with you about how you did at trivia, and more. Truly great service, and while I've become a regular here, I've always felt welcomed by the bartenders. I love looking through the movie selection, and although I'm so sad that they recently had to sell part of the building to new businesses, I am so glad they are still actively renting out movies (and the top prize for trivia is 7 free movie rentals, so that's killer!). They're also always playing great movies, and with screens everywhere, it's easy to see the action. Casa is a place I love to come to do homework, hang out with friends, drink, watch movies, and has even been the site of several of my first dates in the past. Overall a great location, great atmosphere, great people, great great great!

This place is for sure a local gem. Trivia on Tuesdays at 7- I get there an hour early and there's still seldom places to sit because the locals love tuesday nights. Amazing selection on tap that's sure to have something for everyone.

I love going to Casa and enjoying a local brew and a movie! Plus, get pizza from Fresco delivered, or check out whichever food truck is there!

Very Tucson! Chill, laid back environment, great place to hangout. It's a video store on one side (reminds me of Blockbuster) and a bar on the other side. They only sale beer and wine (oh how I wish they had a full bar! I would go more often!) they also serve coffee. They have tables set up and you can play card/board games. They have a popcorn machine and they also sell bags of the local vendor popped artisan popcorn. They have multiple TVs around with a movie playing. You can look at their website and see what their feature moves will be. Great place to hangout with friends. They have food trucks that will park out front so you can eat too. You can also order deliver. Fresco is nearby and offers free delivery.

I love this bar! Free Popcorn, Movies, and awesome Beer! What more could you ask for! This is it Tucson! A great beer bar with movies and popcorn is all I need! I highly recommend this place to any movie/beer lover! You will not be disappointed! There are 20 taps, an nice bottle selection and a nice selection of hard to find beers as well! Just a great place!

Casa Film Bar is a unique establishment with a variety of beer options and movie selections. The unique aspect about this bar is that it is connected to Casa Film, where you can watch and/or rent movies. The have a variety of beers on tap, as well as a modest selection of canned and bottle beers for sale. If you've been to Tap & Bottle, it's like a similar set-up, just sized down. Since it is part of Casa Film, you can check out the selection of movies, including their large selection of international films and extensive genres. Each month Casa Film Bar offers special features and themes, like Bollywood night. It was a really cool experience getting to hangout with friends, drink beers, and watch a bunch of different Bollywood movies that I had never seen or heard of. Additionally, they hosted a food truck that served curry and other Indian food. You can check out their calendar on their website to learn about other features or themed movie nights/events. On other nights they host different local food trucks, which is a nice way to support Tucson and small businesses. If there isn't a food truck available, they have food menus for nearby restaurants to oder from for delivery, such as La Fresca.

I love that they play movies while you drink.

This is by far my favorite place to grab a beer, cider, or cup of tea in town. The bar is attached to Casa Video, so it's great to grab a beer and a movie for home. The guys who work here are top notch, and they really know their stuff. They keep the bar stocked with the best of the best brews. The vibe is totally chill, and you can usually strike up a conversation with another patron or one of the bartenders. One of the best things is Fresco pizza delivers here, with no delivery charge! It's a great hang out place, date spot, or stop off on your way home to watch a movie and chill.

I can't believe I've lived in Tucson for 6 years and just recently discovered this place! If this isn't the most amazing hidden gem in Tucson then I don't know what is!! We decided to stop by on a Friday night and it was the best decision we ever made. They have an amazing tap list and plenty of to-go beer selection. If you're into trying different beers, this is the place to go! The staff is great, they quickly attend to you once you're ready to order your beer, close your tab, or order another around. They also have food trucks come regularly, so you can order food there if you're feeling hungry. The best part about this place is that there are TVs everywhere and they play amazing movies. It seems like they have a general theme of what they are going to play every night. I went to one of their events where they had a Hayao Miyazaki film marathon! We had such an awesome time watching Spirited Away while enjoying our beer. I hope you check this place out, I promise you won't regret it!

Casa Film Bar is 5 out of five and I'm not even really a beer drinker! I love that Casa Video has been a long supported Tucson business. They do things right and the same can be said about the film bar. Folks can get the best of both worlds here. Head over to rent a movie and grab a beer at the bar and maybe a growler for home. You CAN do that here. The video store connects to the bar but they still feel like separate places, which is great. The bar is well appointed, there is plenty of seating for groups in addition to the bar itself. There's plenty of variety and they host great beer events there too. If you're hungry, Fresco just down the street delivers! It's an awesome addition to the Old Pueblo and one that any beer and/or film enthusiast will enjoy. The team is is super welcoming too. Beer people rock.

Dry unique concept. A Blockbuster and a brewery had a baby. I loved the fridges of single beers. I made a case of random beers to take home.

We'd heard good things about this place and have been trying to support local downtown bars this summer, so we stopped in around 11 on a Friday night before heading home. As we sat down, we watched the bartender be pretty dismissive toward another group at the bar, so we were already a little unsure. We started talking about the decor because we liked the eclectic vibe. We jokingly pointed out that one of the pictures had a joint instead of a cigarette because someone in our group hadn't noticed. One of the bartender's first comments back, completely seriously, was, "I'm from San Diego. Have you never seen art before?" Honestly... what? It was such a weird, unnecessarily condescending response. I brushed it off at first as awkward banter, but it was a really strange first impression. The drinks were decent. The Loverlist was really good, and the Unicorn Fluff and Old Fashioned were fine. The bartender was quick to talk up their whiskey selection, but when we asked for a recommendation, she mostly gave reasons why she couldn't recommend anything and just kept saying they had "over 90 different options." Without a whiskey menu to look through, that wasn't especially helpful. We also asked for a shooter and were offered half of a cocktail instead. That would've been totally fine on its own, but combined with everything else, the service just never felt welcoming. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. I'd give the place another shot because the atmosphere is fun and has a lot of potential, but hopefully with a different bartender behind the bar.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

Fun fact, it used to be a mortuary which honestly adds to the whole slightly eerie, beautifully atmospheric charm in the best way. Why did it take me so long to get here?! Drinks aren't cheap but they are absolutely worth it. I had a non alcoholic drink that was divine and honestly didn't feel like an afterthought at all. So many little nooks to explore, but the courtyard under the palm trees was my favorite. On this visit, with moonlight, vintage architecture, and soft ambient lighting, it just felt unreal. We came here because we wanted to play pool one night and Pockets had a tournament going on. We were originally 3 out of the 5 people in the bar (one bartender and one other dude who may or may not have worked there- but kept going into the back room). It was SO quiet which I found oddly unsettling lol. The only way there would be any sound other than our voices was to pay money to play music ourselves and I dropped way too much money to keep it going while we were there. Next, the bartender was odd to us...In some weirdly pretentious way. To be fair, we all do look young and people tend to treat us as such when we go out. However, he was so condescending about everything. I asked for a drink and he corrected me on how to order it-but not in a helpful way? More like he was annoyed with me. I turned 21 almost 15 years ago. I order the same drinks and have never been told that a bartender doesn't understand what I'm asking for- even if I don't use the proper bartending terminology. My roommate asked for a vodka redbull and the bartender made some weird comment about this not being one of our "hipster bars" like ??? I drink vodka red bulls in literal biker bars. We prefer smaller, low-key bars. It was such a strange and judgmental thing to say. He basically talked to US as if we thought we were too good for that place? Idk it's really hard to explain. But it left a horrible taste in our mouths. A couple came in a while before we left and seemed to be friends of the bartender- which somehow made the vibe even more uncomfortable. It's as if they all wanted us to leave. It's so weird to make your literal ONLY paying patrons feel so awkward and unwelcome. Dude needs a serious attitude adjustment. The a-hole bartender theme is out dated. That's just bad business. It's one thing to be busy and short with people when you're serving a full bar; that's usually expected, but you don't have to be a jerk to the only three people in the place lol.
