Love the atmosphere and the service is amazing, one of our favorite Sunday funday places.

Karaoke here is fun and I love their specialty drinks that change on a fairly frequent (maybe seasonal?) basis. They have happy hour specials as well, and the bartenders are consistently friendly and accommodating -- if you want them to suggest a cocktail they will. Different nights will give you different results, just depending on the event or DJ involved. I've had some really great times dancing here and then other times when it was so crowded I couldn't move a step so there was kind of no point in being there. Maybe just try it out on different nights of the week and also pay attention to the happy hour times and prices to get great deals on fun drinks when it's not so crowded. read more

I'm a creature of habit, I like what I like and tend to stick to those places. Hubs asked if I could bend my rules and try out a new place. I hesitated but agreed for please his adventurous spirit. We headed to the Nugget for an early afternoon cocktail. Perhaps this place is good for cold beer, perhaps this place gets better at night, perhaps it just wasn't for me. Overall clean place, cute (a few good neon signs, decor) but man do the cocktails suck. I mean, maybe during the college years, not for me not now. What great bbq place to find in Bismarck!! Food was absolutely delicious and the service very nice. I had chicken and ribs. The chicken skin was just right crispy and the ribs very tasty. The ominous blue lights and dim, narrow driveway make The Nugget feel like some seedy saloon where you're bound to get into trouble. Once you're in, you realize it's a pretty quiet neighborhood sports bar full of dorky old billiards enthusiasts. Very narrow beer menu, but bartenders have a few classic (and stiff!) cocktails, which they execute well. Sometimes, they'll give you a little bowl of nuts or chips or something while you're watching the game. They have pool tables, and no shortage of folks willing to play on them. I'm talking about the type who bring their own adorned and customized cues and take the game seriously. Maybe there's a type of club meeting here? Anyway, there are plenty of people of all ages here and they all have a good time. When I want to go out, but I don't want to travel downtown, this is a reliable stop. read more

very polite and helpful staff. nice music good food. yes I would recommend this place. if you want to relax and have, as myself, a glass of wine or two. the patrons, people were lovely and easy to interact with. I was alone in my wheelchair. I wanted to get out for a while as I am residing at a physical therapy rehab facility temporarily. and my husband passed away only 8 months ago. no family here and I know no one here. The cutest yet WORST bar you can go to. I'll leave that up to your discretion. Definitely a thumbs down. Management, workers, employees etc, don't care about clients or customers. I've given them a try more than a few times and they couldn't care less about their business. *shrug* Their security guards drink, play and sing on the job and there's no manager in sight. So this is a ghetto bar, but we shouldn't be surprised. What's more deceiving? Is they just ask your name when you're getting drinks? And at the end of the night my tab was astronomical of things I didn't even drink that's one visit another visit several people were asked to leave and we don't even know why, but in doing that again, they ran my card without me, signing it and charged an astronomical amount again. Super cool bar I didn't even know existed! They have a great drink selection that has something for everyone. They have live music and great staff. The pool tables are nice but get there early as they only have two and can get crowded pretty quickly. I love the trendy yet comfortable layout of this bar. Whoever designed it, did great! My only complaint would be the lack of food available but they do provide some small snacks and are totally OK with food being delivered to the establishment. A food truck partnership or a kitchen with a small menu would be a great addition. Overall, a great bar with a dive bar feel. read more

Very unwelcoming environment and will have 45 year old women twerking on the sticky ass floor and you can't hear anything. The service is incredibly slow and when you open a tab, then you go to close the bartenders tell you you don't have a tab open. (Might be a plus for some) The regulars are rude. My coworkers recommended we stopped by for drinks as the DJ was amazing! However once we got there at 130 we were denied entrance as they stated that they were at capacity which we understood but the way the male bouncer and the female bouncer were extremely rude. I don't normally write reviews but, this bar is an exception. The nugget has some of the best cocktails, and diverse crowds. (In a good way) I can't think of a bar in town that has a good crowd of everything. Also, they were so thoughtful in the design, and customer service. You get greeted by a kind security guard, the owner is so genuine and kind to everyone. The place used to be a dive bar but, it's super nice inside now and, still has a laid back feel to it. The Golden Nugget is the most amazing bar in all of Tucson. Possibly the Western coast of the US. Everyone here is friendly (Dave, Dan, and Holly). Actually, friendly is an understatement - they're fam. I miss the Nug, and would recommend it to anyone who likes dive bars with great people, strong drinks, and stellar pool.
