Best Mexican food around!! Their Tacos, enchiladas are a must!! Too it all off with a Gloria Margarita!

The food was delicious and they give you so much, I ate off it for three days. The best refried beans I've had in a while.

I actually can't believe I haven't made a review of this place! I've been going to this restaurant since I was in my mom's belly! I'm being dead serious Lol. My parents have been going here since my older brother was in my moms belly as well so it has been passed by us through generations. This restaurant's food, owner, service, and staff have always treated us so well there! We are some loyal regulars if I do say so myself and how can we not be. Going for so many years and we have never experienced anything bad about it. The Albondiga soup is AMAZING! It is a must try !!! Chips & Salsa were good Albondigas soup was a bit salty Rice was a little dry, enchiladas were good, the sour creme on top really spiced up the freshness along with the sauce. Watch out, Casa Gamino....there's a new kid on the block! Catalina's Lil Grill, located next to the Bellflower Johnny Rebs, is a delicious new little place with homemade authentic mexican fare. We go to Casa Gamino's a lot but while they have lightning fast service and predictable food where you can count on the same version each and every time (a very good thing) this new place has delicious home made food that when they run out, that's IT till the next day. Believe me when i say from the home made corn tortilla chips to the spicy picadillo stew, you will be thrilled! Also you have to try their pumpkin tamales, they are kick a#$! Mmmmm... Casa GaminooOoOoOOoo Maybe it was because I had a bit to drink before I came here but this place was the bomb. The Chips and Salsa were delicious, we finished our first basket fairly quickly. I order a taco/chili relleno plate with beans & rice. It wasn't super busy so luckily our food came out pretty quickly. Man, I don't know what was in that sauce they put on my chili relleno but it was amazing. I pretty much annihilated my entire dinner. It was just so good, and I was pleasantly happy and satisfied with my meal. My friends come here all the time, and this is there good greasy, comfort food jam and I can see why. My favorite place to get my margarita fix. The food is consistent and the staff treat you like family. Highly suggest the many combination dinner specials that come with soup or salad. Highly recommend the shredded beef taco, chili releno combination or the stand alone carne asada taco salad in their house made crispy flour tortilla bowl. read more

One of my new favorite places to dine for authentic Mexican food. I'm in love with their chips and salsa. The food is so delicious. The only thing I've had here that wasn't very good was a carne asada plate but who knows, maybe I just got a bad piece of carne because everything else has been......mmm mmm good! I'm not big on seafood but I love the fish tacis from here. There are plenty of tables inside and room for big parties of you bring the whole family. The service is often good, however I have had 1 grumpy old guy as my waiter twice now. He has no personality, doesn't smile and honestly it kinda makes you not want to ask him for things. Price wise Casa Camino is very competitive with any other Mexican establishment. The only thing keeping me from giving them a 5th star is the interior decor. It's old and in dire need of upgrades. The lighting is a dingy yellow and the tables/booths have definitely seen better days. All things considered you should still give Casa Camino a try, you don't be disappointed. read more

So over due. I love Casa Gaminos. Fast friendly service. This place is great for lunch and dinner. A great place for a first date if you want to be around other people but have a slightly dimmer lighting source. My favorites are the wet burritos and nachos. They also serve beer. Food was great. Service not so much, waiter kept disappearing asked for a coke and a water got the water still waiting for the coke. But was charged for it. Asked for more salsa for the chips never got that either. Probably will still go back but ask for a different server. read more

You could ask just about ANY local who has been privileged to eat here and they will almost certainly tell you...this is not the best in town, it's the best in the geographc region! The service is ALWAYS friendly, timely, efficient and welcoming. The portions are generous and suitable, The QUALITY is beyond outstanding! As I said, they've been doing this (to MY knowledge) for more than 40 years and from my very first-ever serving of nachos to my most recent experience, I have NEVER had a disappointing meal, encounter or experience at Casa Gamino! IN fact, when family and friends visit from out of the area and are looking for great Mexicn food, THIS is the ONLY place I will take them, because I KNOW that EVERYBODY will be pleasantly and wholly satisfied and appreciative of the experience. Waited in front of the check in for at least 5 minutes while two girl just talked amongst each other without greeting me or asking if I needed to be seated. Manager pops up and just stands there as well as I stood in front. Ultimately I had to be the one to ask how long the wait was. Poor service !! Nevertheless, I still decided to sit down and eat, food was not good. Rice was dry. Paid about $10 for guacamole that tasted like it came out of a bag. Our waiter was great, great service. Was not happy. The albondiga soup was not fresh and had no flavor. I'm 99.9% sure the meatballs where store bought. The guacamole was 7 dollars and not fresh. It was soupy and flavorless. My husband keep trying to add things to it to make it edible. His Shrimp Cocktail was decent but very small plate for the price. We've passed by this place for years decided to try. This was a terrible experience. 0 stars if I could! My family and I came here, my sister ordered a margarita on the rocks. The server brought her a blended margarita. She told him it wasn't what she ordered, the server was argumentative with us and told us we still had to pay for the blended margarita because it wasn't his fault. Finally we called the manager, in which he was not apologetic about his rude employee and customer service. We decided to just take the check and leave. We didn't bother to have dinner here after the way we were treated. We will never come back after this experience. read more

Ehh... it's ok but my order tonight was disappointing. Salad is strictly iceberg lettuce and dressing. Orders usually come with chips AND salsa. I overheard another customer ahead of me having to ask for salsa, so I should have known. Got home to find no salsa in ours either. No Mexican meal is complete without salsa. Been coming here most of my life. Salsa hands down is the best of I've ever had. Me and my family just ate here this past weekend. The food was extremely good only reason for 3 stars was staff. They are quick to get food out which is good but once the food is out that's it had to wait 20 minutes for a refill on drinks. Our server never asked if we wanted anything else like dessert or coffee or anything. He handed us the check and disappeared for another 20 minutes. I got tired of waiting and went straight to the front to pay. I still left a tip although I probably shouldn't have. Hopefully the server gets better name was Raul. :) read more

Used to come here a lot as a kid, came back as an adult and was somewhat disappointed. Food was ok. Ordered a mango margarita, it tasted nothing like tequila... maybe they put mescal in there on accident? Anyway... unfortunately it has become "average". Much better place a few miles north called Glorias Cocina. I'd say they set the bar for traditional Mexican food in the area. read more

Always good food and great service. Bar isn't stocked with top shelf favorites, but it's adequate. Has been the company celebration go-to place for a few years now and we've always been taken care of (usually parties between 10-25 people when we go). Tends to get a little loud as it isn't a large place but definitely a great little find. read more
