Great Mexican spot. Great service and low prices. Always consistent service, they're always quick to bring food!

So mad it took me so long to try this place. I had the carnitas with the rice and beans and my husband had the shrimp tacos. We started off with the chorizoqueso and everything was great. Usually I do not care for the rice at many Mexican restaurants in the States (the ones i have been to) because it is usually bland and not worth the calories but the rice here was great oh and those refried beans! Most weekdays have beer and margarita specials, the food is what you would expect, except more tasty and served even more fresh. The entire staff is awesome ( big shoutout to Alex, Erik and Oscar) and its just a wonderful place to enjoy the company of someone you care about. We have visited this place multiple times, but no more! Tonight our food--simple combination dinners--took a long time to come and other people who ordered after us were served before us. When we asked, there was no explanation given. Our bill was not adjusted in any way, so my husband spoke went to speak to a manager. He was off. A lady adding receipts was his fill-in. She wouldn't even look at my husband while he was politely telling her about the situation. Quality and service went down when this place changed names several years ago, yet prices went up. We are done. There are great, yummy, attentive competitors nearby. read more

We stopped here because it was close to our lodging. The staff was very pleasant but I was a little worried when our food was delivered within minutes of ordering...and I was right. We ordered a cheese dip that was runny and never solidified as they normally do. Our food came a minute later and not good at all. I asked for sour cream and it looked like soup. Definitely not recommended. We did not bother to take our leftovers home. read more

Worst Mexican food I've had since moving to TN. Yes, I'm from CA, and Mexican. Beans are canned. Salsa tastes like it came out of a jar. The tacos at Taco Bell are tastier. This place does not serve Mexican food. They serve a cheap knock off of what Tennessee residents consider Mexican food. Real "Queso" is served in a skillet and has some real resemblance of cheese. It's Not valveeta in a little plastic cup. Their al pastor is not real al pastor and tastes like BBQ pulled pork with pineapple. Service is slow and the margaritas taste like the Jose Cuervo pre mixed jugs. I will never understand why anyone would give this place more than 1 star or visit more than once. read more

The food is not fresh made. By accident, the waiter brought me the wrong food item, so I asked him for the correct one. When he brought the right item, he stated that all the food packets look the same and the cooks got confused. There is no real flavor to the food. Will not go back. read more

This is a quality gem of a place in Franklin. Found this Mexican restaurant while looking into the Barry Farms development and it was good on so many levels. Service was fast and efficient; the food was extremely flavorful and abundant. I had the pollo con queso and asked for onions and peppers to be added to it, which they did, and my husband husband had the 3 tacos Mexican style. They were loaded with lean, moist meat; incredibly well seasoned. We will be back! read more

We've been going here regularly for a couple of years and have never had a bad experience. The food has always been very good and our servers have consistently been great too. Wow!!! We ended up going to this place because our favorite taco shop (Oscars) was closed. Could not be happier that we accidentally ran into this little gem. I haven't been to Camino Real since it was located on 96 several years ago. I'm glad to say it's back and the food is better than ever. Margaritas are also really good. I highly suggest this to anybody looking for authentic Mexican food. read more

Sometimes we eat here more in a week than at home. Kids love it. They are very affordable.

This was only my second experience at this location. I called my order in to take back to the office and eat lunch. I showed up 30 minutes after placing my order, to make sure it'd be ready when I got there. The older gentlemen behind the counter just stared at me instead of being welcoming, and he was also like this the first time I ordered here. I let him know I had a to go order to pick up. I paid for it and he started walking to the back to get it, but then he noticed a man getting up from his table, so he hurried back to the counter and helped that man first instead of assisting me. After waiting a full 10 minutes, I finally had my food. The man brought it out and didn't say a work to me. He instead ignored me again to speak with another man in the restaurant. When I got to my car I noticed my order was incorrect. I walked back in and told the man at the counter. He said, "Well I don't check them before they leave, soooo..." I let him know that I wasn't expecting him to check the order, I just want it to be corrected so I won't be late back to work. After a few minutes, a different man walked out of the back and handed me my food. He was very friendly and he actually apologized for the order being incorrect. It's amazing to me that someone in their early 20's had more respect than the older gentlemen at the register. read more

I Ordered the tacos Mexican style with steak and corn tortillas and chicken fajitas with no tomato . I was told it would take ten minutes which I thought was fast and I accidentally showed up after 25 min and the manager was sitting down with the hostess' then went back and I still waited about 5 or more minutes on the food . I paid and tipped and walked out to the car to find the fajitas were steak. Walked all the way back in to have him basically tell me I ordered it wrong when it clearly had a C for chicken on the fajitas . They re-made them which I didn't want to wait for . I received the new one from the manager themself and it was chicken and it had the tomatoes on it which I asked for none of. So I took it back and asked what was going on and the manager basically got defensive and talked to me rudely in front of the customers after I had waited so long for my food still not right meanwhile the other food was getting cold. He made me go back to the car again for the 3rd time and grab the food before he would refund it and basically completely acted like he could care less about getting my money for his business. Manager has a personality that seems fun but he is rude and was lazy to me for no reason . . Poor experience read more

Tonight was a terrible experience. As we left one of the waiters called my wife, 16 year old daughter and her friend "putas". It was clearly heard by the three. Then he denied saying it when we called him out on it. There are too many Mexican restaurant options in this town to bother with this place. It is obvious our business is not appreciated, so we will not be back, EVER. We will just go to Nacho's, Pueblo Real, Poncho's, Oscar's, La Terraza, Las Palmas, Chuy's, or La Hacienda for good food and service from now on. read more
