My favorite go to is one of the strawberry margaritas with the fried shrimp and chicken tacos. You really can't go wrong with this little location! Staff is always very friendly and courteous, I love the aesthetic of the entire location and it's filled with plenty of seating options. Most of the time that I go and grab a bite to eat, I see a lot of people who sit with their laptops and get work done so if that is your kind of thing, it is perfect for that as well.

Our waitress was also the bartender and paid more attention to the people at the bar than our table. She didn't check on us throughout our meal, and only refilled my water once when she brought our food out. When we were done, we didn't know if they'd bring a bill to us or if we were suppose to go to the front desk, as she never said anything to us. Every single staff in the restaurant was on their personal phones, leaving the restaurant to take personal calls, and fraternizing more than working. We also witnessed several food safety violations including our waitress sticking her hands in her pants in the back to tuck her shirt, and another waitress playing with her hair excessively, all without washing their hands before interacting with customers again. While good food, I don't know that I'll go back given the experience we had with the staff. I really question cleanliness when behaviors like that are happening in front of customers.

Another weird thing, the staff were trying to get a specific song to play and kept skipping songs for like 5 minutes straight. Every few skips, they'd run out of songs so we'd have to listen to ads which really threw the vibe off.

I come from a very Mexican community called Boyle Heights in Los Angeles, I know Mexican food. When my plate was placed in front of me I immediately noticed two things. Number one the tortillas were obviously microwaved when traditionally the tortillas should have been either oiled or dipped in lard and placed on the griddle to golden up a bit. These tortillas were cheap run of the mill store bought tortillas, thin and bland. Secondly the "carne asada" is not traditional asada. They gave me the cheapest diced up chuck when carne asada is supposed to be skirt steak or flank steak. I'm saying this so that the owner can improve the quality of food. The good people of Spring Hill deserve the best and most authentic Mexican food that our culture has to offer. I couldn't even finish my plate. I only had 1 and a half tacos out of 3. I've never in my life left a taco behind. In conclusion I bet if they went with a more authentic menu and got a chef that has pride in his culture they'd do a lot better as a restaurant. Also this place is under new management and is called "Mezcal cocina Mexicana"
