    Fajita Burrito

TOP 5 salsa - and it's free. I knew that I would be in for a great meal when I tried the salsa. I immediately could tell that it was made in-house. I went for the Fajita Burrito with chicken. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender. The sauce on top tasted great. My wife got the Chicken Fajitas. Her meal was bigger than mine with more chicken, rice and beans. This is the first place where I got a FREE refill on a can of soda. Our server did a great job.

Nice decor, nothing real fancy, just a bit of charm. Not real busy on a Thursday evening. Service was great, Kat did a fine job getting our drinks and keeping them filled. Once we ordered, our food was out pretty quickly. I ordered the single beef enchilada with beans and rice. The picture was taken after I stirred in some hot sauce. The meal was plated nicely, and came with a bit of lettuce, no sour cream or guac. The plate was hot, of course. The enchilada was good, tender beef with mild sauce. The rice and beans were typical of most Mexican-American restaurants. A decent meal, nothing to write home about. No real hot salsa, I think many places are used to normal gringos, not some of us that appreciate habaneros.

Was craving Chile rellenos and stopped in for lunch. Got the combination plate with one Chile relleno plus one verde enchilada plus rice and beans, which also came with chips and salsa. Including tip it was $16 which is very reasonable for a two item combo. If you're looking to save even more I think they have weekday specials that are specific for each day of the week Monday through Friday. Despite it being lunch time (about 1 PM) I was able to order with the friendly person at the front desk, pay and leave a tip with mobile wallet, get an email receipt, and be on my way in a very reasonable amount of time. I think it was between 5-10 minutes which is probably since I ordered two items that were slow cooked in batches early on in the day to be ready for lunch (I'm guessing this since I've cooked both these items at home and they take several hours to cook from scratch). The food was filling and flavorful and satisfied my craving. The salsa was so fresh that I could smell the bright aroma of the cilantro before I even ate the chip it was on! A+ The one thing I will mention was I did get one piece of gristle in my chile verde but everything else was fantastic! I appreciate that they made the enchilada with a corn tortilla which soaked up the beautiful verde sauce and imbued it with flavor. Very clean inside and everyone was nice. Support local and come check this place out! It's like having a homemade meal cooked with love.

It's a small place. We got sat right away. It was my daughter's birthday and she wanted Mexican food we are from out of town so I search for Mexican food near and this popped up. I wasn't that impressed with their menu it was small and very limited. I order the rolled taquitos and they were not bad they almost reminded me of my own when I make them at home. My kid order a burrito it looked very good I did tried her rice it was good it did have an authentic taste to it. The service was great she was so nice they sing to my daughter and give her churros for a dessert for her bday. I can see why this place had a good rating .

The food was good. I got the beef chimichanga, my husband got the steak fajitas, and my kids shared the taquitos. I liked that our waiter checked on us and was attentive to everyone in the dining area. The dining area seemed spacious with the tall ceiling. The bathrooms were narrow but still functional. Horchata was great and refreshing.

Went here with a friend recently for dinner. It's a small place, which I loved. Chips & salsa was really good! We both really liked the salsa! Service was quick! I ordered two cheese enchiladas. They were okay, not my favorite, but it might have been the red enchilada sauce for me. I prefer green sauce in general for enchiladas. My friend ordered one Chile relleno and one Chile Verde enchilada. She really liked the Chile Verde enchilada. It was her first time ordering the Chile relleno, so she didn't have anything to compare it to but said it was okay. Beans & rice were pretty typical. Cool to try but I didn't love it enough to go back soon. I would however buy their salsa to go!

Casa Linda offers a variety of Mexican staples: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, tamales, and more. While it's not most premium food you'll ever eat (don't expect anything fancy), it's full of flavor and you get good a portion size. The staff is incredibly friendly and seems genuinely grateful for customers who are there. Because Casa Linda is so new, there's not a lot of signage, nor have I seen any advertising for the restaurant. But if you're trying to support local, check this place out because it's one of the few authentic Mexican restaurants in Murray. I'd definitely stop by again!

Absolutely everything was bad my food was very spicy I couldn't eat it and had very little seasoning. The service was crap. I surely won't be coming back.

Garbage food. So sad Morellas is gone. We tried burritos, nachos, and tacos. Café Rio would have been a better choice.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. First of all, Muertos Cantina is a total vibe! The inside is so cool with fluorescent lighting, colorful decor and bottles displayed beautifully behind the bar. Even the bathrooms are worth mentioning! Each one is decorated differently with tons of bright colors. Seriously, each bathroom is like its own little fiesta sanctuary. Now for the FOOD! They start you off with fresh tortilla chips and a trio of salsas, and the chips were AMAZING (especially the flour chips). Each salsa had its own completely different flavor. The Red Chile Arbol had some heat, the Chipitle Lime Crema was smooth & creamu, and then there was the milder Tomatillo Verde, which was my favorite. Soooo good! We also tried the Agua Frescas. They were refreshing, flavorful and really pretty to look at. The watermelon was probably our least favorite, but to me anything watermelon flavored can sometimes taste a little watered down. The pineapple was definitely the winner because it was way more flavorful and satisfying. Then came the Elote Corn Dip. YUMMY! It had fire roasted corn, cheese, spices, crema, pico de gallo, cilantro and Tajín. It had so much flavor and texture. Definitely one I would order again. My daughter chose the Birria Ramen, and I think this might have been her favorite part of the meal. It had slow cooked beef birria, consommé, melty cheese and ramen noodles with cilantro and red onions, plus lime and radishes on the side. It had a little spice to it and was absolutely packed with flavor. She loved it! My husband ordered one of their burritos with a side of tater tots. The kid in him was VERY happy that tater tots were an option. And FYI the burritos here are HUGE. I ordered the Smothered Spicy Chile Verde Burrito, and OMG. It had braised pork in chile verde sauce with rice and refried black beans, wrapped in a flour tortilla and then smothered with MORE chile verde, melted cheese and chipotle lime crema. It was MASSIVE and SO GOOD! I honestly have yet to find anything in Reno that compares to this one. I would order it again in a heartbeat. And whatever you do, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! We got the churro beignets, and they were fantastic. Covered in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with caramel and condensed milk... seriously, what more do you need? They were the perfect way to finish the meal. Muertos Cantina ended up being such a great first stop on our Utah trip. Fun atmosphere, really good food, huge portions and so many different flavors. Again the atmosphere set the entire vibe for our meal. Yelp came through for me again!

The food is still very good here and some of my previous gripes are no longer an issue. I can now order tacos and burritos à la carte again. While there is still no way to go pick whatever salsa I want and the options are still more limited than before, at least they bring out 3 of my favorites with the chips now. The drinks are still just okay , a shadow of their former selves and I will never be able to accept the loss of my beloved watermelon margarita, the way they used to make it, but I will concede the drinks are decent. Service was fine. Parking is a hassle but that's just Sugarhouse. ‍ So yeah, I guess I'm back to "willing to eat here once in a while", from "I'm never eating here again". They even have a nice taco Tuesday deal which I may hit up in the near future.

I found Real Taqueria here so it must be "Real"! I GPS'ed my way over here on East Murray Holladay Road (seems like different spellings here in Utah), it's just across the street from Trader Joe's. Parking was easy. I go in and the menu is up on the wall. I order my usual Al Pastor burrito. They offer two sizes, I get the grande (big one) for about $12.50, plus some tip. Prices here aren't bad compared to a lot of places. Service is quick and friendly. The inside is a little nicer than some real hole in the wall mom and pop places, like you know, where you actually think you're IN Mexico. They have outdoor dining as well. The food is up in just a short wait. It's a good sized burrito, that's for sure. I use the hand held method to eat. I don't go for that fork and knife way on a plate. I bite off the end and see the inside. Yes, looks good and smells good as I pour some salsa in. On my first bite, I can tell, yes, this is a "real" burrito. I munch it down using salsa till I can tell, there's no way I'm gonna finish this whole thing right now. I get the rest to go. I'm glad I found this place, check it out for "real" Mexican food! We arrived a little ahead of a huge storm coming in as we drove through it about an hour before. Fun little space that has a drive thru window as well. The cashier was friendly as gave us a few recommendations. They go have a daily fresh fish but I didn't recognize the fish so I ordered a shrimp taco and adovada taco. My son got a shrimp burrito and then we split a chips and guacamole. The chips and guacamole were incredible. The chips were a tad thicker but great crunch and could hold up the large thick scoops of fresh guacamole. The shrimp burrito was enormous as it had marinated shrimp, beans, rice, cabbage, jalapeños and more. Every item was fresh and flavorful. The tacos were both very tasty as well. The tacos and burrito came with a jalapeño crema that was also yummy. They have a little salsa bar with a tomatillo green, jalapeño medium, a hot and pico de gallo. The salsas were all good. We sat on the fun but small patio and then rolled out just before the huge storm hit. We took the rest of the chips and guacamole to go in the car as we were driving north to our next stop. Definitely a place to come back to in the future if we are in SLC again.
