He was super helpful, easy to work with, and made sure things were done right. I appreciated that he didn't rush and paid attention to the details. You can tell he cares about his work, and that goes a long way. It's not always easy to find someone you feel comfortable having in your space, but I did with him. I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I felt it was necessary to share my experience. At first, everything seemed great--but there's a serious issue future residents should be aware of. If you live below a unit where the balcony extends inward more than yours, there are no proper gutters. From August 2025 through March 2026 (seven months), I dealt with my upstairs neighbor washing dog urine and feces off their balcony directly onto mine. I have over 23 documented emails, along with videos and photos, showing this ongoing issue. Despite repeatedly reporting it, nothing was done. When I provided proof that my patio furniture had been damaged, I was told to file a claim through my renters insurance instead of management / neighboor taking responsibility. Essentially, I couldn't even use my balcony. What's most frustrating is that nothing was fixed until the day after I signed my lease break--when they finally sent someone out to address the gutter issue. Maintenance staff were always kind, but in the last few months, response times became extremely slow and issues continue to grow . What really pushed me the beak is On top of that, the move-out charges are a joke Good luck getting your deposit back. . I was told I needed to replace countertops (phase 1) over minor scratches--( some that were documented even before I moved in. And never noted on the post move out inspection that I did with the person ) even though the material scratches very easily with normal use. It felt like they were looking for reasons to deduct from my deposit. This place will nickel-and-dime you over small things, yet ignore major problems that affect your quality of life. Additionally, I had a serious safety concern with a neighbor who threatened me and my dog, saying I was "lucky we weren't in a place" where he could kill dogs. I filed a police report and notified the office. When I asked about breaking my lease due to safety concerns, I was told, "just keep reporting it , and don't interact with him" Ultimately, I had to hire a lawyer just to get out of my lease--and now retaining him again to dispute my deposit. While the property looks beautiful on the surface, my experience was extremely stressful for seven months and now continues to as I will have to continue with legal representation . I would not choose to live here again. read more

I lived here for a little under a year when they first opened. The pool was nice and that's pretty much it. While the gym is big and has a lot of equipment, management there is rude, disrespectful, and follows you and guests around to make sure you're not trying to get personal training. They have their own personal trainers they want you to pay money for. So that's a fail. Also the parking garage is tight and annoying to drive around and around until you get up to your floor. The interior is dark and doesn't allow much natural light in. These apartments have more of a motel feel to them. Since I've lived there, they have expanded A LOT and doesn't seem like they built that many new pools to accommodate the growing number of residents living there. Overpriced, overcrowded, and not that great. I'd skip this one. read more

Dryer Broke, 1st attempt: maintenance replaced something that was broken. Dryer still didn't sound right. Called to have it checked again. 2nd maintenance guy didn't see anything wrong with it. Called it good 3rd maintenance guy found the issue and ordered the part to repair. Finally gets repaired properly and it sounds and works a lot better. It took a little while but it eventually got repaired properly. read more

I am highlighting the expertise and professio al of Ms. Kia Lauren. My parents were interested in finding a new place to live that would not utterly shatter their pockets. I chose to be a part of the process to aid my parents to ensure they were making the best choice. We were able to go in and take a tour, which Kia was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions or concerns my parents had. Her communication was also something to mention (we can't say everyone has that trait). This apartment complex is located in a very wonderful area and close by to many shopping centers and food spots. One thing I loved is the day of move in she shared the excitement. The apartment ended up being better than my parents expected and although youd think due to not being on the 1st floor itd be difficult to bring stuff into the apartment it wasn't that difficult. It was a workout but we got it done. Id highly recommend anyone coming to this office to speak with her. Sweet, knowledgeable and a delight to speak to. read more

Hello, I have been living here since December, and during these months the stairwell has not been cleaned even once. One day I was in a rush and had to use the stairs instead of the elevator, but the smell of dog urine was so strong that it was almost impossible to walk through. Yesterday I tried again, hoping it had finally been cleaned, but the situation is exactly the same as it was in December--dirty, unpleasant, and unusable. In addition, dogs frequently urinate right in front of my door, and despite emailing the leasing office and maintenance several times, nothing has been addressed. I love it here. But of course there's downside. 1. We get no sunlight. Our apartment is dark all day and all night. So if you decided to live here make sure you pick a place where you get sunlight. 2. All around the apartments smells like dog pee, there's no sprinklers thats comes on so the pee smell is everywhere I mean everywhere Including hallways. 3. People drives too fast in the garage. 4. Parking spots are too close together. The amenities are great! I never had any problems with the people in the office. I see cleaning crew every morning so they keep the place nice and clean. Specially the dog pee in hallway. They are all very friendly. :) read more

Whole office staff is incompetent!! So rude! No accountability!! I've been here for 2 months and already trying to figure out how can I break my lease!! The apartments look great from the outside but a lot of where in tear on the inside! Maintenance takes forever to come! Microwave was broken for 2 weeks during Christmas and now it's goin on 2 weeks for a filter for the ac/ heater.. I've lived here for a while and the pets are getting out of hand before they were not allowed now the apartment are ruined because of them. It's smells like shit andpiss and the dogs are barking early in the morning . The office refuses to separate the people who have pets and they refuse to do anything about it . I Spoke with an agent in the office a few days before rent was due, checking for the first and last month's deposit upon moving in for my date back in 2018. I Needed to check with the bank to match up the cashier's check amount. Thinking that I wouldn't have to pay the full amount of rent due to me moving out this month. Instead I still received a 3day notice for late rent, my way to pay rent through click pay was inactivated. Then I was told that I'd need to bring in the cashier's check for the actual amount. Called click pay and I was informed that they were unable to unlock the account it would be up to the managers at the office. So they could've unlocked the account instead of having me jump through these hoops. So much me letting them know what was going on, and me planning ahead to avoid any type of penalties only to get penalized anyways. Been here for 6yrs best years were 2018-beginning of 2020. It's been down hill since then. read more

My husband, dog and I lived at Casa for seven years. During this time, we've had minor issues, if any, and the leasing office/maintenance was able to assist. Amenities are great, staff is friendly, the units are spacious. We enjoyed our stay and how comfortable we were. I am grateful to have lived at this complex for as long as we did. The only reason we moved is because I now work in the OC county. Otherwise, Casa was our home. Our experience living there was lovely. read more

Staff and maintenance are lackluster. Overpay for an apartment comes with a staff that doesn't pick up their calls, long overdue maintenance issues (water filter replacement also a friends washer has been broken with no estimation of when it'll be repaired), and broken amenities. read more

Franco and all the maintenance workers here are attentive and kind. I also appreciate that they are diligent about the cleanliness of the compound. I give the workers FIVE stars, but management doesn't get a perfect rating. I won't go into details, but something tragic happened at the dog park because management doesn't enforce their community rules very well. There were also a series of break ins at phase three a couple years back and many cars got broken into. Security is a little more prominent and it hasn't been an issue since. Overall, management has been pleasant. I will update my rating after I've moved out. read more

Another updated maintenance review: Every time they are so quick and efficient! We put in 2 work orders, I received a call the next day to set up an appointment for the following day. They gave me an ETA of 9am-12pm and Jesus G came by around 9:20am. He unclogged our bathroom sink and adjusted our dishwasher because it had become loose and displaced. He was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and everything is back to 100%. Thank you Jesus G and the rest of the maintenance team for always being on it! read more

Casamira has so much potential. The property itself is beautiful--modern design, great amenities, and located in a convenient part of San Diego. On the surface, it looks like the kind of place you'd be excited to call home. Unfortunately, the biggest issue here is one that can't be ignored: the serious lack of security. Despite the high rent prices, it's extremely easy for anyone to access the building. There have been multiple incidents involving break-ins, assaults, and even reports of sexual violence. It's incredibly alarming, especially for women living alone. Yes, there is supposed to be security--but you rarely see them doing rounds or making their presence felt on each floor. For a building charging premium rates, you'd expect resident safety to be a top priority, but that clearly isn't the case here. It's a real shame, because with just a fraction of the money they're collecting in rent, management could invest in better security systems, more visible patrols, or controlled access points. Until that happens, it's hard to feel fully comfortable living here. Casamira could be a 5-star property, but safety has to come first. read more

Lived here for a year. The first 6 months they would make apportionments to re-check fire alarms and smoke detectors at least every month. The pools were also closed every other week which was a bummer. The maintenance crew and the front office crew are so amazing though!!! Just the management sucks read more
