Have used Casa Painting Services twice and they are by far the best professional home service company I've ever worked with. I wish they did more than just painting - I would hire them for every job. They may not be always be the cheapest painting solution, but guaranteed they will do the job perfectly and listen to everything you ask. This is the first home service company I've worked with where I didn't have to micromanage them - you flag something to them at the beginning, and they get it done. They also take extra care to leave zero mess. Not only did Hugo and his team handle the job I paid them for, they fixed the sloppy work of the folks that installed the drywall previously and went above and beyond instead of cutting corners when they ran into issues, proactively tackled them for me, and didn't charge extra. So Casa Painting just completed painting the exterior of my house a few hours ago, and here is the review. I have a house from the early 50's that has been rather neglected on the exterior. Lots of termite damage and rotten wood that I was worried would be an issue. I didn't know for sure if some of the damage could be corrected. As I walked around the house with Hugo, he assured me that all of the issues I pointed out could be corrected, and he gave me explanations about how these problems would be addressed. He seemed very confident which put me at ease. I got a quote a day or so later which seemed fair, but as I'm not made of money, I asked about doing a few things myself that were in the quote. Carlos agreed I could knock a couple things off the list to save some money. That was very nice of him and helpful to me. Great start so far! Once the quote was agreed to, Carlos let me know exactly when they would begin work, and from there everything just flowed. These guys show up ON TIME. Actually, they arrived before the start time, sat in their beautiful company vans, and promptly started work at 7:00am. Each day they repeated this like clockwork. They were quiet (unless machinery was being used of course), efficient and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. Very professional! No loud music either like some workers. All of them were very humble and concentrated on getting the work done. Communication was excellent. Carlos would send me texts with pictures, asking if I needed this or that done, advising of status, etc. Very quick to respond, very clear. Hugo, the supervisor I saw most in person, was always very personable and gave me status updates each day when I got home. He would walk me around the house showing me the progress and asking questions if needed. They sealed windows for me that the installer didn't do. They replaced vents, replaced wood, filled cracks, everything that needed doing. I didn't compare costs to other companies, so I can't comment on whether the price was low or high, but based on how much prep work I saw go into this, the attention to detail, the respect for the house and my family I can say the price was VERY fair to me. We recently did renovations to our house, which included running a lot of new electrical wiring. The ceilings had to be carved up a lot for the wiring, and we knew we needed a really good interior company to patch it up and not have obvious scarring issues. We had Hugo Cardona from Casa come in to look at the repair work and other painting we needed. He gave us a very fair and detailed quote for the work. After looking at other quotes, we decided to go with Casa for all of the interior finishing work. Hugos' crew came in and masked off literally EVERYTHING they weren't repairing or painting. Every door frame, every window, and every single square inch of flooring. This included all of our newly installed tile and all the carpet leading up and down stairs to other areas of the house. Every step of the way Hugo reached out to confirm what the crew had completed, and what their exact next steps were. That way everything could be done right the first time. Having Hugo as a job Foreman gave us so much confidence that the finished product would be perfect. And it was. When his crew was done with clean up the house looked like a brand new place. I couldn't have asked for a better finished product. Since then we've also had the crew back to paint two of the bedrooms. We didn't have any hesitation in hiring them for the job since it was obvious the rooms would be perfect when they were finished. There's no other painting and interior company for us to go to. Both bids were very close in price, so I picked Casa as they had done a good job painting our wood patio cover previously. This would be a six-star review if there were such a thing. I just moved into my townhouse and wanted to paint the main floor and have a bunch of holes and damage leftover by the previous owner. Carlos responded promptly through yelp, we switched to texts and he was very communicative. He showed up exactly on time, and gave a fair quote compared to others I had come by earlier (who were late, and waited days to give me quotes). Carlos even helped us pick a GREAT light grey and darker grey accent wall, when I was playing it too safe with this off white that the walls already had. Carlos texted me the paint swatches and had Hugo come to paint the samples. We scheduled the work day within a week. Carlos was also very accommodating and friendly when I asked the day before if we could make the accent color one shade darker. He said it was no problem. Hugo and the crew were on time, courteous, professional, and clean! I look forward to using their services in the future. My husband and I reached out to Carlos because of the impressive yelp reviews. We had a condo rental that just needed spot touch ups in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. No fancy color, just white. I sent him text pix so we can get a quote. I sent 15+ pictures and he did not respond back until I called and texted him. He quoted us with an exorbitant price of $1500!!!! What?! I COULDN'T BELIEVE HE WAS CHARGING $1500 FOR A TOUCH UP!! When I told him it was too expensive, all he can say was "No problem". I asked him why so much, he never responded. Not only did he try to rip us off he clearly DID NOT want to do the job. I had to be the one to get a hold of him. Just FYI we got another quote from another painter named Carlos coincidentally. His team sanded, primered, caulked (the leaky and rotted wood), and painted over our window for about $400. I'm not a expert on price but it appears reasonable. Casa Painting deserves 11 stars. The professionalism of the crew, the attention to detail, and of course, the paint job are all top notch. Cost: We got five different quotes from house painters. The costs were wildly different from each other, as were the time estimates to complete the job. Casa was the second most expensive. We chose them over some of the cheaper options because it felt like they were going to do a complete job without rushing. Also because they were going to do some repairs to the outside of the house that other painters said we'd need to hire a third party for. Color: We had chosen colors by Benjamin Moore. They color matched with Dunn Edwards then painted swatches on my house to compare. The Dunn Edwards was cheaper but looked identical to the Benjamin Moore. We chose the Dunn Edwards. The work: It two-and-a-half weeks to do the exterior of our two story 1600 foot home, plus garage and stucco wall in the backyard. They removed rotting wood from the facade of the house and replaced with new. When you look at those spots now, you have no idea it was different wood from the rest. They filled in cracks in the stucco as well as the tiny gap between wall and ground. Anywhere that dirt met wall, they dug out a trench and painted low into the ground, then refilled the trench. Many of my windows are nearly 100 years old, and they were careful around them. They did not crack or paint splatter any of the glass. The crew: Always on time every time. On time for the estimate, for the paint swatch test, and for the work itself. They worked 7AM-4PM Mon-Fri, then 7AM-1:30PM on Saturdays. Hugo was the head of the crew, and he is literally the friendliest person on the phone you've ever heard. Always wants to make sure you're happy, and looks out for his crew. The two painters were also very nice, respectful about the privacy of the homeowners inside, and very professional. I absolutely recommend Casa Painting if you're willing to pay a little more for higher quality work. When it's time for me to paint the inside of the house, I will absolutely hire them again. read more

He is still an arragant man in the way he spoke to the woman that took his order. He spoke to her in the same manner as he spoke to me as his customer and other women that I see wrote Yelps about him. I took the opportunity to ask him about the peeling paint on the steps of a house he painted for me less then one year ago. He said it's not my problem. I told him the problem occured weeks after he painted it. He said it's not my problem. He wouldn't look at me the entire time yet had a smile on his face. So, everyone that is considered hiring him.... if you have a problem, his warranty is "not my problem". read more

I found Carlos through yelp and was excited to see all the good reviews about "fair pricing" and a job well done -- well, Hugo (he works with/for Carlos) comes to my house and asses the situation. Keep in mind, we just bought the house so it's EMPTY and all the walls are clean and in great condition, we just wanted a different color. The total area we wanted painted is approximately 1300 square feet and the quote came out to: $17,850.00!! Yes, SEVENTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. I literally laughed out loud considering we already have other quotes and the highest one after Carlos' quote was $3,950! THAT'S LESS THAN 1/4th THE PRICE OF WHAT CARLOS WANTED TO CHARGE ME! LOL! We hired Carlos to paint out Westwood commercial location, which was desperately overdue for a paint job. Beginning with my first phone call, and estimate appointment, until the final completion of the job, Carlos and his associates were professional, timely, and fairly priced. Carlos immediately understood what I wanted to achieve in our space, and made suggestions to update the design of the paint from a residential-looking color blocked wall, to a more modern, and clean looking border that circles the entire space. So I just want to preface this with the fact that I grew up working with my Uncles and cousins for their painting company. Casa Painting is quite literally the most professional and skilled painting company I have ever worked with or seen. Everything from the customer service, to the service itself, the results, and the affordable price was 6 stars (if I could give them an extra across the board I would). We had them quote us on doing the interiors for the back half of our home (3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 hallway). They were here to quote on time right on the dot. The gentleman who did the quote was in uniform and very courteous. He gave us a quote then and there, in writing. They were able to fit us in 2 weeks after we said yes, which was fantastic. They arrived on time both mornings and finished exactly on time both days which was impressive. Our house is lived in. Our rooms have mounted tv's and adult furniture (in that it will last us our lifetime) so it needed to be taken care of. They went simply above and beyond. They carefully took everything off the walls, sealed up every room and each piece of furniture. They sealed the floors and quietly got to work. The results were phenomenal. The cleanest lines I have ever seen. This is maybe little and dumb, but I think the devils in the details. We had our internet cable mounted along the baseboard around half the main bedroom office. It was fastened to the walls using nail braces. Probably 30-40 of them. The crew carefully removed them so they could paint and then replaced them exactly as they were. We were shocked. Incredible! The project took about 3 weeks to complete, and they showed up every day right on time. They hung up all of our artwork back up in its original place and even gave some great furniture placement recommendations. At first, before Carlos, some of handymen said they don't want to do it because they are afraid that they are going to mess it up. We have a rental and our tenants recently moved out so we needed part of our rental's interior painted along with outside fascia board (this is because our last painter didn't prime it before painting). We got a few estimate and decided to go with Carlos based on the stellar yelp reviews and we are glad we did! During the painting process, his employees were courteous and went beyond my expectations. They had covered the floor, the toilet (still with access to lift the lid up if needed), the sink the entrance to the kitchen (because I told them I just had my tiles grouted), took off the towel racks, bathroom exhaust fan and so forth. Too many details to list. The last painter that we had hired mostly painted around fixtures and objects with almost no plastic cover so we are pleased to see that Carlo's employee took the time to prep before painting. We do a lot of painting in our own home and we understand that prepping is essential and that it requires more time than painting. To give you a comparison, our last painter took two days to paint "all" of our rental's exterior and "all" of our rental's interior. With the same amount of employees (two) as our last painter, Carlos two painters took the three days to paint "part" of the interior and only the fascia board on the exterior. This is because they took their time prepping/patching/caulking/sanding all surfaces as needed. For example, if there was a whole in the wall, they patch the holes, wait for it to dry, sand it, prime the walls, wait for it to dry, then put on a couple coats of paint. After they are done painting for the day, they would clean up and even sweep the floors. The cleaning process repeats each day until they are done with the project. Although Carlos wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, he gives the best price to performance ratio and we were glad we went with him and will definitely hire him again in the future for our painting needs. read more
