Best cigar store South of San Antonio. Excellent on tap beer selection and knowledgeable tobacconists.

This is a nice lounge with a bar in the back that, thankfully, has Guinness on tap. There is comfortable seating and a number of TVs and two humidors with a wide selection of cigars. The downside is a lot of the cigars aren't smoke ready and the prices are considerably higher per stick than a couple of other shops in the area. The staff are attentive and very nice. read more

I fell in love in the store as soon as I walked in. There are two huge humidors on the right side. In the back there is a bar with about 25 taps, a great selection of beer. Several leather sofas and a few TV's for watching the game. They are extremely friendly and helpful! With the hundreds of varieties available, they are extremely knowledgeable. Excellent assortment of Tobaccos and Cigars. I live in Cypress TX , so every time I come down to the McAllen area I stop by to Pick up the best Pipe Tabaco "Soft and Sweet". Yes for many reason which include; warmth family feeling (super friendly staff and customers), great prices, really clean, big variety of cigars as well as beers, really good location with big parking, and great place to hang out... in the many ones i have gone it was usually for one or two beers, but i always found myself staying till closing. It's been over 4 years now that i have been going to this bar and never felt disappointed. The owners are super caring of their customers, they cater to your wants and order kegs and cigars if you request them. In this bar i have spent my saddest nights and happiest days and even made some really close friends so Over all this place is awesome. read more

Not having any great expectations for this border town in terms of cigars, I was blown away by the selection of cigars at Casa Petrides Tabaccos! The prices are moderate and comparable to any other cigar shop that I've been to. Life is too short to smoke cheap cigars anyway! From the basic cigar selection, to the premium, super premium and boutique selections, the Casa Petrides selection is outstanding! Additionally, they have a lounge and a bar where you can partake in a drink of your choice to pair with your cigar purchase. What more can you ask for? Walked in with husband after a long day. We were served by Sondra (best service ever) and given two very cold, beers...we met some of the regulars. Turns out I knew some of them from H.S. (I am old).
