Ordered the beef flautas at $18. Served with a generous amount of rice and beans. Also came with a side a guacamole and sour cream with no extra charge! The beef was cooked tender and had a red sauce inside a fresh fried tortilla. The outside was crisp but soft in the middle. Great balance between that! A little salty for my liking but nothing a little sour cream couldn't help with. Complimentary chips and salsa were given when I was seated. The atmosphere was so nice! Warm and inviting. The staff is very patient and kind. The food is great! Lots of different options to choose from. I ordered the carnitas plate for $17.99. I was very disappointed with the small amount of meat that would fit in the palm of my hand. It was indeed tasty but more like a $7.99 plate. It's a shame restaurants pull this. Pork is super cheap too at less than $1.50 a pound. Fix your issues Casa Ramos!! The service was poor too and it was a Monday and not overly busy. We had a large wedding party maybe 20 folk. So tagging a star on for the hassle and confusion. So the wife and I grew up in Watsonville and now living in Salinas were there's a Taqueria on nearly every corner it's hard to love this one. Not even sure this is the best one in town or was it the one that could hold a crowd. We all had a good time visiting and laughing so the food was mostly an after thought anyway. The beers were cold and tequila was flowing so it was just fine. My carne asada was cold (20 people) not a big deal, looking around the table didn't see anybody that was so stoked about there food they talked about it. This place is the best! The management is super kind and are super cool to talk to. Usually I don't have high expectations for food places in smaller towns, but this place was incredible. Good Mexican ! Had a very good dinner at the casa Ramos in corning! The chips and salsa was a good medium spicy sauce. Ordered the carnitas with corn tortillas. Meat was done well and the sauces were good. The veggie enchiladas were light but tasty with a green sauce on top. The pinto beans were very tasty something don't always have nice taste. Disappointing mexican food. Interior carpet is black with filth. And my chicken in the fajitas was dry. I asked for no bell pepper. All was left is onion and meat. We had reservations for 22 people. When I called the gentleman that answered the phone was very nice stating we're the customer and what every we wanted was fine. We arrived and only had a short wait. Our waitress was great although for the size of the group it should have really been two helping.
