On our way home from Oregon my husband and I stopped here for lunch. What a gem!! Great chips (fresh) and salsa to start. I ordered the Chicken Mole burrito and it was probably the best burrito I've ever had. The chicken was shredded and moist, the mole sauce was light and flavorful and it was large enough for two meals. My husband ordered shredded beef tacos with rice and beans and he said this restaurant is on our radar for any trips we make this far north. The gentleman who waited on us was efficient and very personable. And they have very good iced tea! First impressions were right on. This is a cute restaurant inside and out. Someone is very handy with paintbrushes and artistic talent. The place was not busy on an early Tuesday evening. The chips and salsa are only free the first time around- you will be charged for additional. We were fine with just the initial amount because the food came promptly. We're huge fans of Mexican cuisine and like to try new places wherever we travel. Rancho Grande uses high quality ingredients and the food is fresh and savory. My boyfriend absolutely loooves their enchiladas and they really are so good! Not authentic Mexican food. The taco trucks in town are more authentic than this place. You can tell they use a lot of canned ingredients. The last time I ate here there were 2 white hairs in my food. I kindly let the waitress know and she left to the kitchen and came back and said they were not their hairs. She said the cook didn't have white hair so they didn't know where the hair came from... but I saw the cook thru the little window when I first walked in and the cook was an older man with white hair. They didn't offer to remove the plate from my check. I was so grossed out, we got up and left. Haven't been back and I truly don't recommend it even without the hair in the food. read more

Stopped in on the way back from Canada. Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. I have had celiac for about three months now and the staff were so accommodating I could even have the chips because they use separate fryers for everything. I was so happy and if you go get the chipotle shrimp they are out of this world!! Soooo good!! I just wish they weren't so far from us. Will be back on our next holiday up there read more

The beans were plain and the meat was aweful. I went I to talk to the manager and literally got a I dont care what you think people love my food... they refused to fix our cold soggy stail food and refused a refund. read more
