My wife and I have been to this place twice now, both times were excellent. The food is excellent. The price is excellent. The atmosphere is Mom and pop come in and have some lunch. Today we had lunch at Yaya's . The vibe and the food was disappointing. How do you make 3 different items rate exactly the same? Mexican Food should not be bland. Sad faces sad food :( should not be one flavor emitting from a glorious taco, burrito or any Mexican food! I love Mexican food but cannot go back. We had a burrito supreme which is pictured. There should be melted cheese . Salsa and cilantro , Some color?? There should've numerous fresh ingredients that put flavor in your palette. The breakfast burritos have no egg, weak Chorizo flavor and uncooked potatoes that you pay extra for. The basic taco was the worst my gosh so bland. Wore out my jaw trying to eat the tacos I ordered. Meat was dry, tortillas were like chewing on leather, barely any onions or cilantro.

The staff was nice... the food took a while but I think that was because they only have 1 person cooking? The meat (carne asada, carnitas, birria) in all the things we ordered was delicious but the rest was just okay. The tortillas for both the tacos and the burrito that we ordered were cold. That made the entire meal a bit disappointing. read more

It's my third time going and the cashier has nasty attitude. She doesn't look at your face when talking to you or smiles. She gets the orders wrong. She's not fast. It seems like she doesn't like her job. She needs more training in costumer service. The bathroom was dirty. read more

We enjoy Yaya's weekly! Their regular homemade tortillas for tacos are so good! The little Tuesday $1 Street tacos are adorable and also yummy. Highly recommend the pastor meat, soft and perfectly seasoned. My teen loves their giant burritos.. My young boys like the elote with hot cheeto dust. (Not too spicy, just a fun twist.) We have popped in just for the Auguas Frescas on hot days. Fresh, house made, with a rotating variety of flavors. I appreciate that they are involved in the community and local events. Their DJ and specials during the Olive Festival Downtown Mixer definitely added to the evening. read more

I eat here a few times a week and I always bring friends and family here to eat as well. Staff is always very friendly, restaurant is always very clean, and the food is always devious. My favorite items are the Queso Birria Tacos and the Carnita Plate. They have $1 taco Tuesdays as well which are always delicious. read more

This spot started promising. It gets three stars because 1. It's open until 7:30 (other places were closed by 6 a on a Friday night!) 2. It has two tables for outdoor seating. 3. The burritos were deemed "ok" by two teen boys. It goes down hill from there. I ordered chips with guacamole. ($3.50) what I received was a basket of stale hard chips with jarred green slime. Not guacamole. But the cheap green liquid sold in jars. My friend and I ordered shrimp tacos ($3.50 per taco). We got exactly that. A taco with just one shrimp that was cut in half. Not even a big shrimp. So $7 for two shrimps total. I don't foresee this place lasting long after the pandemic what with all the other great Mexican restaurants in town. read more

The prices were very expensive, and they were the smallest tacos I have ever seen. Incredibly disappointed.

We went on a busy day and ordered to-go. We were glad our meals came in decent time. I ordered shrimp tacos and elote. It was SO good! I recommend both of those. My oldest ordered a giant sized burrito and said he'd order it again. Looking forward to eating in sometime, so we can enjoy the great murals painted on all the walls. Fun and unique atmosphere with affordable food. We will look forward to trying new items on another visit. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would I use to enjoy this place they had decent Mexican food for a reasonable price my recent visit over the months have been dreadful the customer service is awful the people at the counter look annoyed while I'm ordering I have had several interactions where the woman taking my order roll there eyes yesterday was the last time I'll ever visit here while waiting for my food I could over here the woman talking in Spanish insulting me on my appearance & my modifications to my order little do they know I speak Spanish & understood everything that was being said about me this is awful I can only imagine the things that they say about other customers who don't understand Spanish .
