I went on a Thursday and it was mariachi night from 6-9pm. It was a fun atmosphere. Had the nachos and fajitas that were both good. The margaritas are strong and tasty. Our server was attentive but also came to the table too much where we seemed a burden to him. Would recommend coming here. read more

Ok so there are Mexican restaurants, food trucks, and small taco counters. For this particular evening we were looking more for restaurant and full bar experience. This is exactly it. We really really enjoyed Casa Tequila. All entrees are $9-10 and you could splurge and get a $15 one. The portions are huge and service is friendly. If you are really hungry, get a combo of any of the offerings: burrito, enchilada, torta, chile relleno etc. They bring chips and salsa to your table right away as soon as you sit, which is a nice surprise. I also saw a poster in the bathroom for a bucket of Bud Lights for $12 - easily $25 back home on a good day in Hoboken. read more

My husband and I moved to Florida about 3 weeks ago and while we were still settling in and not ready to cook yet we decided that we would try out some of the local restaurants. Except that didn't go as planned because the first place we tried was Casa Tequila in Stuart and it was SOO gOOd that we went back the next day! And then we couldn't stay away so we went again a few days later annnd then we went back AGAIN a couple days after that!! Clearly the food is ahhh-MAZ-ing but the place is clean and nice and the customer service is top-notch :) We have zero interest in trying any other Mexican places, it's THAT good :) read more

My wife and I along with her service animal went there to have lunch. The staff were insisting that we had to be seated outdoors due to the service dog. After a brief discussion/argument about the Americans with Disabilities Act, we were seated indoors as was our preference. The meal was good but upon receiving our receipt, we noticed under guest it said cholo which is a derogatory term in Spanish. Because of how we were treated, we will not be returning to this restaurant which is a shame because we enjoyed the food. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Came in at 4pm on a Saturday, not packed at all. Our waiter was very rude and didn't seem to care that we were there. No hello, no smile, nothing. We asked for more chips and never got them. Our drink orders were wrong. He charged us the higher price for the taco orders without telling us. What has happened to one of my favorite places to eat???? I'd eat at Casa Tequila at least twice a month but not any more. OMG!! What a disaster. The wait staff were literally running around the the restaurant laughing, joking while people were trying to eat dinner. Where was the manager? Of course, it took forever to get waited on. After 20 min, our waitress decided it was time to work. The usual chip and dip was served only this time, the chips were stale the guacamole was so bitter; I had to spit it out. If that wasn't bad enough my wine tasted like vinegar. I called over the waitress explained what the problem was. She admitted the avocados were over ripped. The wine was possibly from an old bottle. Worst of all she expected me to pay for this?? I then insisted she remove the side order of guacamole and the wine from the bill. She did just that. I left never to return. read more

The so called Mahi-mahi fish tacos are made with canned tuna and then seasoned to cover the taste. I must say though the staff was friendly and hardworking, the mariachi band is excellent on Thursday, and the restaurant is very nice inside. Brand new in Stuart. Great atmosphere. Family run, one of five locations. We had the Pollo Mexicana and Super Burrito. Both were excellent, great flavors and generous portions. Had dinner here for the 1st time last night and I will say it is some of the best Mexican food I have had. My wife is not big into Mexican and she was even saying during the entire meal how good it was. Huge portions and all fresh. We sat at the bar which has big comfortable chairs and the service was quick and the bartender was very polite. We will be back for sure. After reading Yelp we almost didn't go there. I can't think of any negatives. The menu was easy to read and clean. The service was excellent we ordered drinks as soon as we sat down. We ordered our food and it came in a timely manner and all of us were very satisfied. The waitress was lovely and very efficient. Dinner drinks and desert came to $70.00. Hesitant to try due to some negative reviews but glad I tried it. I asked for recommendations from the staff and carne asada was recommended. It was absolutely perfect.
