If you are looking for a lake front restaurant with a more relaxed vibe this is the place to be. their pool is a bit more classy than some of the others. the staff is very timely, kind, and accommodating. The food is pretty good! we love some GLUTEN FREE options! most of their menu can be made gluten free! Drinks are decent depending on what you get! they have a kid friendly pool as well which is nice compared to other locations with pools. This is our first pick of restaurants that are lake front when we come down to the ozarks! I ordered the fish tacos. Best drinks I've had at a restaurant hands down. The screwy banana and the Cruzin are dangerous because they're just hangovers waiting to happen. The alcohol definitely creeps up because of how tasty these drinks are. This place almost gave hooters vibes except the girls wear tight short shorts. But the service was really nice regardless. They weren't the most attentive but granted this place was packed the entire time we ate here. We definitely will be back though! The jambalaya was a little salty. The fried bang bang shrimp were also salty. Still decent. The Mac and cheese was the best! The hot chicken was on the sweeter side, the way I like it! The nacho cheese and chips were to die for. Outdoor eating lakeside on a beautiful spring Saturday- the best after a few hours hiking. Sat out on the upstairs patio ( the lower areas are still closed for the season still). I had the volcano burger (pictured with fries) and my mom had the chicken bacon ranch (pictured with broccoli kale salad). My burger was very good, and our server was attentive and kind. This place offers lovely outdoor seating on the lake. It was fun to watch the boats come in and the ducks walk around. For a Saturday night, we were very impressed with the service. However, we felt the broccoli kale side, although very tasty, was a bit small. Please note they also charged for a side of ranch with the french fries. My only thing I really didn't care for was the deviled egg potato salad, but that was my expectation. We came here on a Wednesday in June. We ordered the honey hot pizza, and the performance pizza. We also had chicken tenders and a salad. The service was so slow. This place either had the AC broke or just keeps the place so hot. I'm sweating right now typing this. The pizza were both good, the salad was big and plenty of food. Some of the best casual grille food I've had at a lakeside restaurant in Osage Beach, yes there are some better caliber pricier ones but, Redhead Lakeside Grill gets the job done for pretty much under $20 a plate. Which can be hard to find at these more tourist heavy Ozark lakeside destinations. So, this is why I really like Readhead's. First is the level of classiness. Even at the pool on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't trashy or over-crowded (and people weren't getting over-served). The entire restaurant gives a country club feel, but it is casual enough that you can wear your shorts and your flip-flops. The food from the restaurant can also be ordered and eaten out by the pool. The second thing I really enjoyed about Redhead's was also the menu selection. They had a wide range of options, from pizzas to seafood, burgers, as well as tacos and other entree options. The appetizer my group picked to share was the boom boom shrimp, and it came out quickly and was freshly fried and piping hot! Honestly, the entire menu had great variety but wasn't too overwhelming. I went with the blackened fish sandwich and it was a delicious selection so I'm sure the popular fish tacos would be too. The sandwich had a long, soft, and squishy bun that had been toasted gorgeously, and the fish filet was seasoned well and tender to bite into. What a great fresh fish sandwich to enjoy by the water. The second visit, I tried the steak nachos, and they were perfect poolside finger food. They didn't have too many toppings, but the cheese sauce and the other creamy spicy sauce were tasty. I also tried a burger, and that was really good, thick, and juicy. It wasn't special, but it definitely was classic poolside food and had a lot of melted cheddar cheese and red onions on top (two of my favorite regular burger toppings). The last thing I really liked about this restaurant was how friendly and accommodating the pool bar staff were, one of the sweetest bartenders ever. I ordered a drink that usually contains ice tea but since I don't drink caffeine I went with all lemonade. Well that make the botanical vodka drink a ordered was too sweet with all the lemonade and simple syrup. They had no problem adding more vodka and remaking the drink until it was to my liking. Also, when the wrong order of steak tacos came out instead of nachos they re-made the right dish promptly and let me keep the tacos and didn't charge for them. Sometimes, at these sorts of restaurants, the staff always seems overwhelmed and moving at a very quick pace that didn't seem like the case here at Redheads Lakeside Grille. The food was not very good, when it arrived they walked away right away and didn't ask if we needed anything. Our waitress SABRINA was stuck up she rarely stopped by and then when we went to pay she asked if we wanted change when the bill was $150 and we gave her $200 and then when we left her a tip she gave us a nasty look and demanded more saying "$20 is the minimum" when it was not stated anywhere that a tip was even mandatory and Sabrina was sitting on her phone texting and talking to her friends she needs to learn how to earn a tip and that they're not required. On a holiday weekday we walked in. 45-minute wait but worth it. My boys and in laws were in town and we had great boom boom shrimp and chicken strips. Came out hot and yummy. Great bartender, only one on staff and she was smiling , happy and very attentive to our needs. Same with our great waitress for a party of 6. fish tacos were awesome, boys burgers were delicious and the salads are huge. Great environment. pool closed early so it was not so much of a party after that for families to come in and enjoy the lakefront and watch the boats coming in. We will be back for sure. Tucked away in a cove and down by Margaritaville if your driving make this an interesting choice to see what floats in from the lake and enjoy a tasty bite while doing it. It has a pool with swim up bar and patio seating around pool and when we were there live music was going on. The pool was extremely crowded and so was the restaurant so you may have a wait time especially if a large group. They have full service bar area and kid friendly Service was surprisingly quick since they were packed. Service started out great with JK, then it dramatically started to decline. We saw him maybe once as a group of 12 our drinks were extremely watered down because they had been sitting. Three of us also ordered the QUESO birria tacos.... Don't be fooled... they do not have queso. We even asked about the queso and he told us that queso is cheese and they we didn't know that because we're from Kansas I'm sure as a joke but still not the best experience. Overall very unattended, and unprofessional. We weren't expecting fine dining but would've been nice to not have to track him down and feel uncomfortable. Someone's entire meal was forgotten with no remorse. The sprinkler heads outside the main doors of the restaurant are a major tripping hazard. We love Redhead Lakeside Grill. We really enjoy Osage Beach and Lake of the Ozarks, because it only takes a few hours for us to drive there and enjoy a few days of lake life. There are lots of restaurants on the lake with huge decks, and Redhead is one of our favorites. Actually being a redhead, I get a kick out of their logo, and the food is good. They have plenty of seating to accommodate all of the customers who want to sit by the water. Their prices are reasonable, and their servers are fast and do a really good job. Last time we were there, I had the Fettucine Alfredo with added shrimp, and it was delicious. They also have a pool which is fun. read more

Very cool restaurant/bar in the LOZ area. They have indoor and outdoor seating, plus a whole pool with walk up pool bar. It's a big and impressive establishment. The pool looked fun but sadly none of us were dressed for it, so we just sat inside which was still nice. They had a good craft beer list, with some MO beers I hadn't had before. All the standards on the food menu, everything that people at our table ordered looked good. There was something for all tastes, even for our friend who was vegan.
