We stumbled upon this place. It is definitely a locals Pub and we absolutely LOVED IT!!!! We got the loaded tots with the beer cheese....sooooo good. The tots were crispy as they should be! I got the bourbon maple point chicken wing and my husband got the buffalo hot. They were cooked and sauces perfectly. Note that we are RV'ers and do A LOT of traveling and we both agree these wings are in our top 10% of the BEST we've had....and yes we've been to Buffalo, NY and are from Florida. This is a dive bar, yet still inviting. Lots of seating, outside area too; but we chose inside (since it was 94 degrees). Both servers we attentive and very friendly! 10 out of 10!!! The food looks better than it tastes. The burgers & fries were very bland with minimal seasoning. Chicken tenders were cooked well but also not enough seasoning. It has a fun atmosphere but not too kid friendly for meals as they don't have high chairs. Our food did come out fast & server was very nice. read more

While parking is limited and the inside is certainly not elaborate, you could not get a better fish sandwich anywhere in Osage Beach for the price. Add the side salad as your optional side dish and you have a wonderful meal. The waiter and waitress were very pleasant and prompt and attentive to your needs. The tater tot side was a copious amount of tots and cooked to perfection. Will be going back very soon to see if this is consistent performance for this little retreat. Loved it! read more

Stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon for lunch. It's a little off the beaten path. It's a divey looking place from the outside. We had a couple beers and a couple burgers. One of us had fried and the other had the fried potato salad. The burgers were outstanding...they were flavorful and juicy. The French fries weren't my favorite. They are natural cut, which is my least favorite type of fry because they always seem soggy and floppy to me. The fried potato salad on the other hand was thebomb.com! I am pretty sure I could have eaten my body weight in that stuff! The service was decent...a little spotty. I'd definitely go back just to get that potato salad! Check it out! read more

Food is great as usual. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger. Very very good. Service clearly has deteriorated. Arrived and "Shay" took our drink order. After a reasonable time the order was delivered. That is where "Shay's" waitressing duties ended. She never once came to the table once but sat at the bar ,on her cell phone and talking to a friend. The bartender brought us refill drinks and apologized for the waitress. They write their names on a blackboard so you know who is working. I love this place! The live music , pool tables and the bar food (really good). Ya gotta try the homemade potato chips and beer cheese! The service is inconsistent. I've been there on evenings when they are slammed but service is rocking and evenings when it's not overly busy and service is lacking. This is my second time to go to tirebiters in Osage Beach, the food is excellent and the staff is exceptional. They greet you with a smile and treat you like family. There is nothing like setting in front of a cozy fire and enjoying your meal. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights and plenty of televisions to watch your favorite games. Came in to this place not knowing what to expect. Walked in to some live music by two very good musicians and a wide variety of songs, a good duo. Service for the most part was good but definitely if you wanted any drinks you'd have to walk up to the bar. Did not get a chance to try the food as it was a little late since the kitchen was closed, we get there right at 9pm. Great atmosphere and also lots of tvs and all you can eat peanuts. read more

After eating at all the "must go to" places this was a refreshing change. Great atmosphere- definitely a bar that serves good bar food. No identity crisis here! We were really wanting a good burger last night so we ventured out to find one. Almost everyone on this Monday was closed except for Mexican. We drove to Osage Beach and saw Tirebiters, we hadn't been there for years! It was super busy and no one was smoking so we stayed. We ordered the Bacon Burger and the Swiss Mushroom Burger, fries and fried potato salad. It took awhile for it to come out but it is worth it! They were juicy tender and tasty! One of the best ones we have had in a long time here at the lake! We will definitely be back, but only on nights when there is hardly any smoking! read more

Atmosphere is awesome. Peanuts and fireplace create a warm vibe. Those are the only reasons I come here. Food and cleanliness of kitchen are suspect. I do not recommend ordering food here. Cooks constantly smoke weed and barely look employable. The smell of weed is constant. If you want to chill and order drinks, eat peanuts, and hang near the fire, totally recommend it. When I told her about the other girl telling me not to be rude she was very apologetic said she should've never said that to me. I have to say, the peanut shells on the floor reminds me of a place we would go to called the Country House in the Chicago suburbs. My husband had the Bleu Burger, and I had the Reuben. He specified it cooked medium. The burger was cooked to perfection with just a little pink in the middle. My Reuben was grilled hot and toasty. The meat was lean and juicy. This place has a nitty gritty feel about it so if your looking for white table cloths and pompous wait staff, go to elsewhere. If you are looking for good hot grub with fresh cut fries, this is it! We gave our names to 2 different employees and proceeded to stand at the bar and wait for our table. After 10 min or so, the old woman with long curly blonde hair stormed over to us and yelled, " good luck finding a table; we are first-come, first, serve." When we questioned why the other two employees didn't mention that, she yelled at us again while throwing glass bottles into the trash can nearby. Went here because we heard they had new owners. On plus side they do now have a large nonsmoking section. However this was not enforced as smokers came in and lit up. Fries tasted like they were warmed up from previously cooked fries. Biggest turn off was the poor service. We were there at a Sunday lunch hour and the drinkers at the bar were getting good service. We ran out of beer as our food was served and even though we motioned several times trying to get another, no one even came over. read more
