I'll start off that my waitress tried her best and the restaurant has no real alpha gal safe options, which I knew going in but wanted to let my family get their burgers. Mu review is strictly based on the berry salad. They don't disclose on the menu that the berry vinaigrette dressing is creamy and I have no way to vet that for allergens like xantham gum or carageenan. No options besides that. Th3 salad itself was kind of gross; the b3rries were soggy like they had been previously frozen. I didn't bother eating it, told the waitress why & we were still charged for it. They're not trying to offer any allergy safe options, which is fine, but I don't think I'll go back even if my AGS gets resolved. read more

On our motorcycle trip from Virginia to the Grand Canyon, we are trying to ask locals for dining recommendations. At a gas pump, we asked Eric. Eric works at Roxies, so we headed that way. Roxies is in a beach town. In Missouri...Never heard of such a thing, but yea...Osage Beach. In the Ozarks. Osage Beach had just hosted a motorcycle rally the day before. The "strip" in this little town looked a tad beat up, like a good time was had by all. We were not disappointed! Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. Our meal arrived within an acceptable time frame. We had an order of deviled eggs that were probably the best to ever hit my lips. My Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich was bursting with several layers of deliciousness. Bonus points for a pristine restroom, after a bike rally! Stumbled upon this great little place on a winters drive to the Lake and now we've been here 3 times in a couple of months.! If you are looking for some eclectic bar food this is the spot! Susan never disappoint with recommendations. The Brussels sprouts are to die for along with the waygu beef hot dogs and the BEST chicken strips I have ever tasted! Ice cold $3 beers to go with it. The service is fast friendly and fun! The restaurant is clean clean clean! The front HEATED patio is the perfect spot to grab a beer some amazing food and catch a game or 2. Sadly the place is up for sale but I am super hopeful who takes it place still provides one of the best places on the strip for a Sunday funday! read more

This place was the okayest place I've been to at Osage Beach. They were busy and the service was good. Our waitress was swamped and she busted her butt. 10/10 on service and effort. The Ambiance was your typical main strip restaurant. Pretty good nothing to wow over. Ordered the $19 Waygu beef burger. It was ok but I couldn't tell the difference between the Waygu burger and a regular burger. The roasted brussel sprouts were pretty good but the portion size for a vegetable that costs Pennie's to produce was paltry. Tasted good, but for $9 I was hoping for something a bit more robust. They have an excellent Tuesday happy hour where burgers and such are at 1/2 price. If you want to eat here wait till then. It's not bad by any means, but it's just average for what you get at the price point. Now the fries are 10/10. Perfectly crispy and salty! read more

Nice sports bar/restaurant in the Lake of the Ozarks area. They have great happy hour deals, like $2 beers and half off chicken sandwiches, can't beat that. Plus happy hour goes from 2-7, which is the longest I've ever seen anywhere, pretty cool. I got one of those sandwiches and wasn't bad for bar food. The wall is open so you get a nice breeze when it's nice out. Our bartender was real cool too. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back, has a good cool vibe and I could see having a fun time often there. read more

We came in on an evening during off-season for the first time and had a great experience! While the place wasn't crowded at all (it was December), but we still had great service and great food. Our waitress was friendly and made suggestions about the menu and did not steer us wrong! We had the Mac & cheese w/ steak, blackened chicken sandwich, and almond crusted chicken. Beer on tap was ice cold. Our waitress was nice and prompt. My husband got a burger and mac n cheese that was very good. We got the fat fries as an app which was devoured. We were so hungry. I got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and it was amazing. I topped it with Blu Cheese and got a Caesar salad. Best Chicken sandwich I've had in a while. Thick and juicy. Only 4 stars because my lettuce was slightly wilted and I only ate half of it. We would totally eat here again. Nice open atmosphere with big ceiling fans and lots of music related decor. I had a very positive review previously, but something has changed. My burger ($19) was way over cooked for medium well. When I mentioned it the waitress brought another one, better but still cooked too long. The side of grilled veggies consisted of three 3" sticks of grilled zucchini, no squash as the menu stated. I had this previously and it was a full serving of grilled zucchini and squash. Another person at our table ordered this on my recommendation, when it came out we laughed. It was pretty pathetic in the basket with the burger when everybody else had a pile of fries. Waitress was helpful but not attentive. We had to catch her a couple times for service. read more

What a pleasant surprise! We decided to try Roxie's for the first time. We were past happy hour, but that was ok because the drink prices were very reasonable. Laurel was our waitress and she was awesome! She was friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. My husband had the Cuban and it was truly one of the best he has had. We came in here at 2 o'clock on a weekday afternoon and had one of the best meals we have had in a long time! The margaritas were amazing, the tuna fish tacos were unbelievable (and half-price on Tuesdays), the chicken sandwich with the goat cheese was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had, and we couldn't complain about the watermelon salad either! We were stunned by the other reviews on here because we had an amazing experience sitting at the bar!! Atmosphere is great and the staff did an amazing job. Our waitress was very attentive and our food came out rather quickly. As a personal preference, I am not a fan of char broiled burgers so I didn't enjoy my burger as much as I would have if it had been cooked on a flat top.
