""Greetings, I refrained from speaking up at the time, as my comments would have been unprofessional. The doctor' actions were inhumane. If a similar incident occurred in a veterinary clinic, it would be considered animal abuse. The doctor inserted suction and guard instruments into the mouth of a five-year-old child, and I couldn't hear her screams until thirty minutes into the procedure, when drilling and grinding commenced. Her voice was muffled by the noise of the equipment. The child was not adequately anesthetized and was experiencing pain and fear. Despite this, the doctor continued the procedure, which resulted in the child shedding a significant amount of tears, approximately a quarter cup, which accumulated in the headrest. The child was traumatized by the level of pain endured. I am bringing this to your attention, as I believe the doctor should be formally reprimanded to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. If you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at 425..........."" And since probably they had incidents before, they make you pay for the whole treatment ahead of time so if you walk out they don't lose money. Never go back again

The entire team was concerned and supportive of a new moms emotions and worries. Dee, the doctors assistant, explained everything well in detail from the procedure to what to expect afterward. She even suggested taking a video of the stretching instructions to refer back to. As a mother, I was so moved by the time she took to tell this new mom that she was doing a good job and to set her mind at ease. Thos clearly isn't "just a job" for her. Meanwhile, the toddler was running around the office and every team member was thrilled to see her. They smiled, talked and made a huge deal out of the toy she showed them. Do yourself a favor and bring your kids to this office. No judgement, lots of smiles and people who truly care about your kids.

I made an appt for a crown replacement before the end of the year. My appt was for Jan. 19. They told me they would call me before to confirm benefits (they had always done this for an estimate). On January 19, at 8am, they text me to send a picture of my insurance card. I did immediately. I went to my appt two hours later and nothing was said to me about my benefits. I should have asked, but they has always been great and I figured I'd owe a couple hundred dollars. I checked out of my appt and was told I owe $1800. I asked the receptionist if my insurance didn't cover it or why it was so high. She said they did, but this is what I owed. It didnt sit right so when I got home I asked for an itemized bill to be sent to me, which then showed ZERO dollars was paid by insurance. I then called the office and said I called my insurance and they do cover this procedure so why was I being charged this full amount? The manager Jacky THEN tells me "well your insurance is out of network so you have to pay the full amount and if they pay anything, we will refund". Only then was I also told they had not confirmed my benefits before my appointment. That was not told to me at arrival or at checkout, even after I directly asked why it was so high. I pushed back, as I have been their client for six years and was flabbergasted they would charge me more than the full amount they'd usually receive. She told me they'd get $900-1100 if I had still been with my previous insurance carrier. I said I realize I should have asked, but you have always given me an estimate or told me, and I was lied to at checkout that it was run and only AFTER i said I called my insurance did they THEN tell me it was out of network. I asked to come to some sort of compromise on the bill, as them making MORE off me than they would if I was insured seemed absolutely wrong. The manager Jacky told me she would hear back in 4-6 weeks from my insurance and we could address it then. The lies then continued... I received my EOB from my insurance on January 29 that they paid out the claim. I heard nothing from the dental. On February 24, after ZERO contact, I reached out for a follow up. I was told they "just" received the check yesterday as their bookkeeper was on vaca. It was less than $400. I, again, asked if they'd like to make things right as it seems unfair they are making $600 more off me when they didn't run my insurance or communicate it was out of network when I arrived. I asked if it would be fair for a compromise and they take the amount they wouldve got from my previous insurance, I eat $800 instead of $1800, and they net the same as they would have instead of making a profit off of being unethical via not being transparent. She said she'd check with the owners and get back to me. Never heard back. On March 3, I asked where the check was as I was leaving town for a few weeks and this unexpected amount was already such a strain. (No payment plan was offered after the appt either). On March 4, I received a text back from Jacky "the check was mailed. I would think you would have it by today." I returned home on March 30 to the check, that was POSTDATED on March 9th - five days after she said it was mailed. Another lie. And zero concern or care for the financial burden this put on me, as I paid in full at checkout in hopes this would be made right. I really struggled writing this review as I do not hand out 1 stars. And they really do have a GREAT dentist there. Unfortunately, to pay for insurance, and deal with an unethically ran business like this with dishonesty, instead of making it right and working with a client of 6 years...leaves me here. If you care about working with an ethically run business or your out of pocket costs, I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Many years of dental neglect were resolved in a few visits and most remarkably without the shrieking pain of past dental experiences. The waiting room was over crowded and we barely had anywhere to stand. While examining my daughter the Dr. asked my daughter directly if she had started her period. I noticed that Dr. Katz doesn't even have a medical degree and had no business asking or needing this information. She then stated that it's really important to start her treatment now because she will stop growing soon. There is no way this is accurate. She is 11 years old. The Dr. also told us she will need 2 baby teeth extracted by her regular dentist even though her dentist doesn't agree. The dentist left the office w/out explaining the reason behind this, leaving her assistant to explain. The assistant also told us that the braces will help with grinding, which made no sense. The whole visit was over an hour and felt inappropriate and grifting.
