I had foot surgery with Dr. Gillroy in December 2022. From my initial visit, I felt very comfortable in her capabilities and demeanor. Surgery day was at the local hospital, and since then it's been healing exactly as she said it would. I was very happy with my experience. I have had numerous issues with my feet and ankles in the past. I had always recieved treatment through the V.A. and the military. This was hands-down a much better experience. DR. Gillroy was courteous, took the time to listen to all of my issues and address each one. I have been seeing Dr. Kelley Gilroy for a while She has done surgery on my left foot fixing a previous problem arising from another surgery as well as my right foot for bunions and hammertoe. She is a very good surgeon and very easy to talk to. The staff is nice and helpful and there is never a long wait, usually within 5 minutes, staff will call you into the exam room or take xrays I have referred a few patients to her so far and will continue to do so. Being a foot care nurse, I have more opportunity than most. I recommend her care very highly. read more

Consulted with two family doctors and one foot doctor over the last two years. Conclusion was chronic foot pain that should be treated with better shoes, insoles and pain medication. Dr Gillroy is truly a breath of fresh air. Professional, competent, very knowledgeable, and restored our faith in the medical community that had never been lower. I have been crippled for 5 years as a result of a podiatrist named Doctor Schade at Madigan. Upon examination by Dr Gillroy, her response was "why did they do that procedure for a bunion". Cut my big toe in half, used only as a last resort. Have suffered from bone spurs recently and could barely walk because of severe pain. Again the quacks at Madigan assessment was little could be done, bones were too fragile, come back in the fall if you opt for surgery. Upon examination by Dr Gillroy, she determined it was in fact a bone spur and removed it in her office in less than 5 minutes. Instant relief. spur gone and so was the pain. She also assessed another bunion and assured me the procedure would be far less radical than the one Quack Schade had done and recovery would be days or a few weeks rather than months. Corrective surgery was required because my toes overlapped and do not bend. Dr Gillroy is as good as it gets and I am so grateful that I found her. She deserves 10 Stars. As a very active (and not a tad spastic) middle-aged runner and soccer player, my poor feet are always taking a beating. Dr. Gillroy was able to give me back my foot! I was having a hard time walking for long periods of time and had unexplained pain in my feet. She tried every method to fix my issues, and didn't give up when they all didn't work. After much trial and error, the issue was found. Dr. Gillroy recommended surgery, and it was successful at last!
