This visit was during the covid-19 pandemic. Brenda helped us find a bulb that will warm one of our bays that can plug in to a regular outlet. We've been here numerous times since then and have found almost everything we've needed and even things we didn't know we needed. The store is clean, well organized and the staff follows covid protocols well! I feel comfortable running in to get the items we need. It's a great local hardware! read more

I have been a regular customer since moving to Creswell 12 years ago. I have found some things much cheaper than the bigger hardware stores, but most of the time a bit more expensive. However, the time saved and now fuel when I just need a few things is well worth it. If you are a rewards customer, you also get some of that back in discounts from time to time. So, what's not to like about Creswell, Hardware? Every time I have been there I found them to be very friendly and helpful and because they are so small they dont always have exactly what I might need but most times they do. And pricing? Well, maybe a bit higher than the larger hardware stores but I expect that's probably due to them not being about to buy as big a bulk as them but hey, Creswell Hardware is like 20 miles closer to me than they are so that has to count for something, right? I don't know what I wouldn't have done without Eutha and Glen. Over the past week I've made more than 7 visits to this establishment, and every time I was greeted with kindness and patience. The staff is very knowledgeable, and quite humorous, which always helps to alleviate a stressful hardware situation. I moved to Creswell about 8 months ago. I purchased a fixer upper and spend a lot of time in a hardware store. I am a fan of this store. Eutha and Scott are extremely friendly and helpful. I believe that Shawn D.'s feelings and comments were tainted by one experience where owners had to react to a situation at that time. I have not experience having to leave my bag up front for fear of stealing. The prices are fairly competitive and they will provide you a discount for larger purchase if you have them provide a quote. This is definitely my local hardware store!! read more

I have been a regular of this once charming and quant local hardware store and I cannot count how many intimate conversations I have had with some of the staff throughout the years. Recently when I went in there I was completely affronted when one of the ladies (who knows me very well) said "you will need to leave your bag with me" and after giving her a perplexed look I said "really". She then said "these are not my rules" and promptly took my small satchel which is often called a "man purse". I found the entire experience to be criminalizing, and it belittled my sense of loyalty that I nurtured for that store. The most shocking revelation is that I have spent the better part of a decade frequenting that establishment and they equated me with the status of petty thief. This is not how you treat your regular customers and as a result I have sworn off my allegiance to this once great hardware store. I always overlooked their high prices, but with Jerry's just 25 minutes away I cannot recommend them to anyone. read more

I just want to say that this store had the most incompetent people I have ever met. I called in the morning to see if they had a windmill, the girl told me yes they had one and I asked her if I could purchase it over the phone and then come in and pick it up after work. She told me that she would just hold it for me and would put my name on it. Well after work I went home in Cottage Grove to get the trailer and my husband and we drove upppppppp to Creswell. When we got there I asked the girl about the windmill she was holding for me and she told me to go to the paint department. We went there and waited for some to show up only for the guy to tell us they had sold my windmill. My god really. He said he would get one in on Tuesday and call me. He then said to go back up front and give the girl my name and phone number, so we went back up front and had to wait again to tell the girl to take my name and number. She wrote it down and my husband said it was for the windmill and her comment to us was on yea I know but never put it on the paper. She then said that she had told the guy that I was coming into buy the windmill but then she said that when she got back from lunch it was gone. No sorry no nothing nobody gave a crap. May the new owners need to do a little bit of customer service training or maybe they just dont give a crap either. Oh I am sure that i will probably never see that windmill do to incompetent people. read more
