This cute Asian paradise spa is tucked away rather unassumingly in Hillcrest, and you're popped with beautiful decor and warm air (a stark difference to the 62° day outside). To start the three hour adventure, we were given entry to a private steam sauna, which was so filled with steam that we could barely see our hand in front of our face - it was glorious. The second part was foot reflexology with a nice warm foot bath while they (very thoroughly) massage everywhere else. This was a communal area with two other seating spots across the room. The final ending was a full body table massage. They were, again, very thorough. He asked if I wanted light or firm pressure, and as always, I opted for firm - and he delivered. He even commented that he doesn't normally press that hard, but it felt SO nice. You do get I think a 5% discount if you use cash, so I recommend doing that, and bring enough for a tip! read more

The lady who helped me was very rough and after I didn't feel relaxed, I felt beat up. My mom said she felt the same. The room where had message was freezing. The price was ok, we got ruby package and paid $480 for 3 people. I don't go to spas a lot but I get messages regularly. I think the ladies who helped us didn't have much training. First, I tried asking the guy at the front desk which type of massage he recommended, but then he just decided for me and called someone back. It was easy to book an appointment for the same week. We were visiting out of town so I was reading reviews like crazy and this one seemed to be the most recommended and best price. Especially for the couples massage deal. I was afraid of hard to find parking, but since we were one of the earlier appointments, they do have a small parking lot (4 spaces) about a block away which was very helpful. We got changed into only towels to go to the steam sauna, it was nice but then we didn't know how long we were meant to stay in there!!?? We peeked out, and then that's how we knew we were done? Then we had a "facial", scalp massage and foot scrub at the same time. The "facial" was not a facial lol. It was like a dry face massage. We did get a face mask after. Then you go to the hot sauna with tea which was nice, then again, you leave at your own according before you get the 1 hour massage. They get 5/5 for their massage. My husband LOVED it. he said she got out allll his knots and even paid for 30 mins more. I want to note they never asked if we wanted male or female, this is my first time with a male masseuse. I was slightly uncomfortable with it, but it was fine. He did a good job with the massage. Overall, it was well priced, our bodies feel great/ bruised up haha but in a good way. We booked ahead of time. We arrived and there clearly confusion about who was doing what. As they shuffles us away they seemed to have run out of masseuses and rooms. They placed myself and another girl from our group (who I had just met that weekend) in a couples room. I'm an adult so getting nearly or all way naked in front of another girl doesn't bother me, but I feel like I wasn't given a option. So as me and my new naked friend with we realize our room is nearest to the front desk and we can hear the phone running and people talking on the another side of the wall. I'm pretty sure the room was the one they used only in moments of overbooking crisis. Either way wasn't planning on having front desk phone call music on my spa bingo card today. Next to my massage by a women that probably also came in to assist with massages only when absolutely necessary. Pretty sure she had never had any for all training of anytime. Shirley made my birthday weekend so incredibly relaxing. I came down with 20 girls to the spa and made sure to make reservations for the couple's spa package. My sister secretly added on a bath with salts for me as an extra birthday gift and I had no idea what was going on but I absolutely loved it. I had never had that experience in my life before. Treated ourselves to the staycation package which was 120 very relaxing minutes. The free parking about a block away is convenient. The decor is very attractive and we were greeted right away and shown to a small locker room with showers. Towels, robes and slippers were provided. Only one of our lockers worked so we just shared. We started with a nice steam sauna, then a quick shower before face, scalp, and foot massages with a scrub. We were then escorted to the Himalayan salt room and given a pot of jasmine tea before our hour long full body massage. The pressure was perfect and all of the people who worked with us were very nice. This was an excellent value and we will definitely return. I only took a star off for the broken locker and because online it said the sauna included eucalyptus steam but it didn't and there also wasn't any serum included in the scalp massage. read more

I got a massage around 7pm and it was such a miserable experience. Everything was cold (oil and towel) and I could feel a draft coming from under the massage bed. I am updating my original review to four stars from one because the spa manager, Shirley reached out to us to apologize and make the situation right. She was so kind and empathetic. She addressed our issues with the therapists directly to make sure they don't happen with anyone else. We greatly appreciate her help and it's a testament to the fact that they do care about their customer service and the experience you have when you visit Cascade. Because of Shirley, we left the situation feeling better and would even consider going back knowing that they have someone like her. Original review: If I could do 0 stars I would. It's overhyped on social media and they probably provided discounted/free services in exchange for the positive posts. Don't believe me? Read on. We had a group of 6 girls. First red flag was we had to ask for towels and robes, there was no direction. One girl paid $75 for a seven minute "scrub" which was supposed to be a 30 minute service and the scrub was the mildest sugar scrub you've ever seen. No exfoliation, the one in my shower from Target is better. The rest of us got the "staycation" package. When I tell you it was HORRIBLE, I mean it was robbery. The massage was by far the worst I've ever had. The masseuse had long nails so she was scratching me the entire time. She was wearing a metal bracelet and so that was scratching me as well the entire service. She also had her hair down and it was brushing all over me the entire massage. So gross! At the end, she threw my robe at me to put on. The "facial" is a $2 sheet mask that they slap on your face with no warning. And the scrub, as mentioned above was an actual joke, there wasn't a single skin cell exfoliated. The "serum scalp massage" is 5 minutes of a painful, dry rub (no serum in sight) and primarily was just the masseuse pulling our hair. They don't say one single word to you the entire time you're there other than at check in. It's so awkward. The foot massage portion can only be described as violent and uncomfortable. Then they had the nerve to ask for a tip when they already had skipped portions of the package entirely and did the absolute bare minimum. WE COULD NOT GET OUT OF HERE FAST ENOUGH! We truly should have left mid-service to save ourselves the time and trauma. We truly question whether or not this place is a legit business operation. read more

My boyfriend gifted me the couples package for this spa for my birthday and we loved it! We arrived in the morning, so luckily there was a lot of parking. We parked at a lot about a block away but they do valet parking nearby if you bring in your ticket. The lobby was very nice and peaceful while we waited to be helped. We were guided to gender-specific locker rooms to change into our robes and put our belongings away. The couples package comes with access to a sauna, a head and foot massage, a facial, and a body massage with tea and wine. We felt very relaxed and were impressed by how clean and calm their entire facility was - it's actually a pretty big space! They did a good job organizing our services so that we'd always be together and never really bumped into other guests. I would definitely return to try their other services, I believe they have a different sauna, a hot tub, and scrub services.
