I'm actually from LA, but whenever I'm down in SD to visit I always want to get a Thai massage. Luxury Thai Massage gives some of the best stretches and massages you can ever imagine. For my first two times I've had Samantha and she was great. However, I recently received therapeutic services from Lilly and she was stellar! Based from my experience with Lilly, she did a lot of back walks, which was amazing; basically trampled all over my back and even pressure to my hands and feet. She also performed the thai signature technique "Cobra" (or 'Bhujangasana') which felt super relieving. It opened up my chest and shoulders and improved my spinal mobility. A lot of the Thai massage therapists (not just from here but other Thai massage places) don't perform the 'cobra' on me so Lilly was the first that I got this from. Towards the end she also had my back on top of her knees and basically pushed me upwards to get some cracks in, and mind you, I weigh about 230 pounds so that was very impressive! Some of the other things they do are typical Swedish massage and also has some hot stone application. Other notables: -Parking is pretty small and I believe it's shared in the same complex with the other shops. I went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't too bad! -If you pay cash you get a discount! -It's next to a small airport so you may hear jet noises but that didn't really disturb my experience. -Restrooms are on the middle floor (basically half way up their staircase they have a women/men's room) -They do have zen vibes and play some type of peaceful sounds inside; definitely quiet and well-respected atmosphere. -After massage, they offer you either hot tea or water (your choice) Next time, I will surely be back and request for Lilly. I've never had a Thai massage before but my neck and lower back have been killing me, so I was in the area and found this hidden gem! Lily did such an amazing job. I had no clue they walk on your back lol I don't know how they do it but I don't think I want a normal massage ever again. The pressure level was perfect! My neck pain was relieved and my back cracked so much. I'll definitely be back! The staff was friendly and welcoming from beginning to end. I was a walk in and was lucky enough to get an hour massage at 7pm which I'm so thankful for because I really needed it. My back seriously thanks y'all ! They also include hot stones complimentary which is nice because most places charge, so overall I was really impressed with the whole service. The price was worth it! I have been seeing Apple for over 5 years. Do yourself a favor and spend the $ for a 90 min massage. Only a few dollars more. Apple always had the heater bed on for me. They include hot stone, stretching, massage, and Thai style walking on you. Apple knows exactly the pressure I need to not leave me sore. Amazing experience. I have never had a thai massage before. Its different thatn usual. My friend calls it "lazy person's yoga" - lol! I agree! It involves no oils andyou lay on a floor mat and wear comfortable stretchy clothing that gives you full range of motion. They use their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to stretch you and your job is just to stay relaxed and let them move you into stretches. Loved it! read more

My husband loves it here. It's affordable compared to other places nowadays, and he always does Thai massages (where they do step on you and stretch you and such). I can only speak to my own and my wife's experience at this massage shop, but I would not recommend. They do a full Thai massage which is good but when they walk on you using the poles they walk on your actual joints which is just not safe. My wife's foot was injured and my ankle was as well. We have been coming to this place for quite some time with my mom and always enjoyed the massages. Unfortunately, today will be our last visit. After my husband and I checked out, we were told that the $20 tip we left was "not enough" and were asked to give more. This was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing, especially since we had already paid for the services and tipped voluntarily. Being pressured for additional tip money completely changed the experience and left a very bad impression. Tips should never be demanded. I tried this place as their prices are affordable and they are quick to get you in for an appointment. They're located in an industrial area right next to the 98th Aerosquadron. There is another Asian massage business right next to them so make sure you are at the right place (the other business looked a bit 'sketch' if you know what i mean). Check in was easy . My massage therapist was petite and kind. She did a decent job on my back and neck but her work on my legs lacked strength and technique that I needed. The main issue for me was the insane amount of plane noise. Not every 20 min. It sounded like every 5-8 min. I am not sure exactly where the planes were coming from (do they take off/land at 94th aerosquadron?) but the airplanes were just too much as they compromised the massage experience. I asked my girl if there was a time of day when the planes weren't so loud but she said it's pretty much all the time. Been here about 4 or 5 times now, and it is amazing.. If you like hard massages that really dig into painful spots, this is the place. I am a large man, do not let the size of these massage therapists fool you, they are STRONG. I don't think I've ever had a massage that quite releases my lower back pain like here. Was able to book an appt only 2 days prior which I wasn't sure of since it was Mother's Day. I had never had a Thai massage before, but I am terrible at stretching and had been dealing with some tension and pain throughout my body, so I was ready. I left the place in a daze. My masseuse was Neon and she knew exactly the areas that needed targeting. She even found some areas in my calves that I didn't realize were in pain. I've been having a ton of sciatica (self-diagnosed) pain, from my back running down one of my legs. It comes and goes, but it started to get really bad yesterday. I have had Thai massage previously, at another local business, and been happy, but some of the stretches were very painful (I had a frozen shoulder back then). My husband and I came at 1:15 to relax, but unfortunately, I felt very disappointed with the massage I received this time. I've visited three times before and always felt much better afterward, especially with another therapist who gave deeper pressure on my neck and shoulders. This time, the therapist didn't apply enough pressure, and I kept thinking during the session that I wished I could switch to someone else. I'm very tired in my neck and shoulders, but I left feeling unsatisfied. I had Ken for 1hr & 30min massage. He is strong and really good with Tai foot massage. He gets in deep and if you want it stronger just say something and he will adjust to your request. I had to request harder on my calfs and lighter on my thighs (only once). As he progressed throughout I asked him to focus on my terry's while he had me sideways and he did some nice pressure all along the area. Towards the end he professionally adjusted my lower back and popped my entire upper neck (tai style) it was great! My wife likes medium massage and had Penny who was a little strong for her taste.
