The apt had someone in it and they hurried to get me in so they didn't do much for cleaning or maintence or repairs before they put me in here. If I have to come back to this area for a long period of time for work again I will stay here if the have a apt for me, unless they keep my deposit then I might just come back a flip out on them for fun.

The other tenants were friendly and considerate, and the staff very competent and professional. I have now found work in St George and have moved on to another place but I will always be glad I found the Village Apartments and would not hesitate to call them again if my work brings me back that way.

They have been very kind and helpful when I have contacted them, it has been the actual property I have had issues with, and that may reflect more on the contractors hired to do the work than the management company, but they are, nonetheless, connected in the overall experience. The beginning went smoothly. They were very helpful and great at communicating through the application process and were great at working with me to get me in as quickly as they could. Finally the day came to move in and I was told the property would be ready on a specific day and I could pick up the key anytime after 10am. I picked up the key and arrived at the property after 12pm or so and there were workers still at the complex. I asked if they needed to do any work in my unit or if it was ready (the door was hanging open) and they said that was their last unit they needed to work on (utility installation). Somehow the communication had not reached them that my unit was supposed to be one of the first. They finished quickly, however, and I returned about an hour later and was able to get in. Not a huge deal, but slightly frustrating as I had people helping me and we had car loads that were ready to be unpacked. Once I got in there were also minor issues in the (brand new) apartment (bad paint job, patches done poorly, flooring slats that weren't pushed together completely, etc.) that showed a rushed job, but livable. Since then I have been working to get internet set up in my unit, but every company I have called has been unable to verify the address and one told me the wiring and set up should have been worked out previous to renters moving in between the builder, the owner, and the internet companies, then the information of which companies the building was wired for should have been communicated to the tenants. I then found a larger issue on my second day here. The washer water valves had not been turned on when they were installed. I tried to turn them on so I could wash the laundry I had already put in there and water began to spray everywhere. I tried again more slowly thinking maybe I had turned it on too quickly, but the same issue. I now had a washer that didn't work with half wet clothes inside. I feel like the management has been good to work with despite all of these issues. They are kind and helpful every time I contact them whether it be in person, on the phone, or via email. I will update my review later should these issues escalate, but for now, I still give them a four star for good customer service.

There is normally no issues with parking. Family friendly. Management is very reasonable. When we weren't making as much money the Government Subsidized option they have was a life saver. The only reason I give it a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is the poor insulation causing us to pay more in Gas and Electric bills than we wanted (our bill was $20 less than one of our friends 3600 sq foot home for gas- they need better insulation and sealants around the door). The only other downside is no dishwasher or washer/dryer in unit.

I rented from them for just shy of three years. During that time we went without a dishwasher for over half that time, and without a garbage disposal for about 9 months. They will charge you for maintenance inspections $35 to come in, look around and fix NOTHING. We had two of those inspections, and two Owner visits during that time and the dishwasher still wasn't fixed while I made multiple requests in the tenant portal. Now when we moved in we gave them a huge punch list of things that were wrong with the house, holes in the wall, broken garage door, trim that is messed up, massive weeds in the yard, whole sections of the yard not on the sprinkler system. A lot of things that did not bother us, but we didn't want to be charged for. That was a mistake, force them to fix every little thing because they will try and charge you for those things when you move out. As for stealing money, they will try to charge you for utilities from before you moved in, and after you move out. They will charge you $35 for "maintenance inspections" but fix absolutely nothing. If you have any garbage that left over that does not fit in the can they will charge you for that individually and again as part of their "cleaning". Now my Wife cleans vacation rentals and stayed behind for two days after I moved all of our stuff out of the house to clean and make sure everything was good. They still charged. They did not turn on the sprinklers until mid may when the heat was already baking the lawn, tried to say it was because of the "weather" when everyone else in the neighborhood had been using their sprinklers for almost two months, and then decided to charge us for fertilizer on the lawn to bring it back to life. We did the carpet cleaning through T-Bird like ERA wanted us to. They said not to even walk on the carpet once after it was cleaned, so we didn't. Somehow they managed to incur costs fromT-Bird to come back, which they in turn charged us again for. The carpet was in perfect condition when we left. Screams scam to me! Then they had about 7 or 8 "made up" situations that weren't even the case, and charged us for those as well, such as a ruined baseboard that I KNOW wasn't damaged. its hard to actually witness fraud when you know exactly who it is. The fact that they won't even walk the house with you when you turn it over is obviously cuz they have some lies to make up. You've been warned. All the bad reviews on here are also true, like don't get me started. We rented for 2 yrs. We called on many things to be fixed, but didn't hear from them once unless it involved water.
