The ice is delicious and the wait staff is always friendly and helpful. It's one of the few places that I will eat ice cream as I'm extremely picky. They have a nice variety of flavors and options such as the Dome's Malt and Hot Fudge Cake sundae. I can't wait for them to reopen! read more

Pretty good stuff, nice variety in a lovely setting. Anything special? Not really but The Jackson and Michigan area is lacking in the ice cream genre. I got a pb parfait which is a lovely combo of soft serve vanilla, chocolate sauce (not hot fudge), and peanut butter sauce. IMO it needed a little bit more pb. My partner got a pb Oreo milkshake that was more pb than milkshake. You'd think that'd be delicious but it was overboard. read more

Great service and ice cream was spot on - we had a couple soft serve chocolate cones, banana split, fudge sundae, and a blue raspberry slush. The slush was super sweet, but that's what you get for ordering slush at an ice cream shop. We will go back when we visit next summer. read more

This place has been in Cascades Park for a long time. We used to come here all the time when I was in high school. I haven't lived in Jackson for twelve years, but I've been back here the past few summers when I'm in town. I don't know if it's still the same owners, but this is still a great place to get a multitude of delicious ice cream treats on a summer day in the park. They also have coney dogs, nachos and a few other items. Everything on the menu is pretty cheap. The only small detractor is that the menu is SO big you sometimes can't decide what you want...or end up with a small amount of buyers' regret when you see something else that sounds good. Ice cream here is super pricey (flurries have gone up 50 cents every year for the past few years now) and the high school girls that work here aren't friendly. They don't smile or greet you when they take your order and they talk amongst themselves when you do order. That's not to say that they can't talk with each other it is just rude when they do it while serving customers! There are a FEW girls that are nice but overall it is just kind of meh, plus the ice cream is too expensive. The owner is really nice though; train your girls customer service please! read more
