What do you get when you combine a huge selection of beers/ciders, a black light responsive environment and sharp objects being thrown all around you? No, it's not a flashback to your last marriage... just the opposite... it's a wicked good time at Cascadia Axe Company! We booked the back room for our 1.5 hr special event: 3 lanes for throwing along with tables and chairs. No outside drinks since they've got beer, wine and cider covered but bringing in food is totally cool since they don't have any offerings. We got paired up with the in house pro, Radnar, who took us newbs through the basics. He was super friendly, helpful and personable as he gave us tips and tricks along the way. Once we got the hang of it he taught us a few cool games to keep the fun (and competition) flowing. We all had a blast and an awesome 1st time throwing axes while catching a buzz. This place is so cool. Really good vibe and the owners are so nice and really great for the Community.

Excellent venue, we have come in for just fun couples activities and with a large group of friends and it's fantastic for both. Cascadia has a very friendly staff that helps you learn how to throw safely and successfully. This is a very inclusive place , with responsible drinking available, as well as good N/A drinks too. Recently, rules have even been adjusted to allow kids during certain hours. Myself and many of my friends liked it so much we are joining the leagues. I Can't recommend this spot highly enough, it's for anyone and any skill level! read more

We had a blast. Took the 9 year old grandson with us and he killed it with everything, knives, throwing stars and hatchets.. We threw for 90 minutes and we could have gone longer. If you want a model of how to run a small business, look to Cascadia Axe. Photos do it no justice, Bird and Kyle's passion shows from the moment you walk in. The decor is impressive and somehow manages to maintain a great DIY vibe, you could hang out in the upstairs lounge and have a drink even if you don't plan on throwing (you'll want to though). There is a wall of well-designed merch, a case of locally sourced goodies and several of their beautiful handmade axes on display. Oh yeah- we were informed that not only do they have this business but they just hosted an axe throwing league event and they regularly attend and participate in them as well. So basically, you're looking at a passion-born business. I received plenty of fun coaching from Bird after my initial lesson (I needed it a lot too). She taught us several throwing games and my mom kicked my a** soundly. We will definitely be back because this was way more fun than a one-time experience could encapsulate. Sad experience. We booked a large group for a birthday party. All over the website it said now including kids over 8. We got a babysitter for our younger daughter. We live 30 minutes away. Made the last reservation they had available at 9:15. We weren't super excited to be out that late but made a later dinner reservation. We had 5 adults and 7 teenagers. Right when we arrived we were greeted with, "you can't be here with kids!" What?!? How about hello. How about you must be the 9:15 reservation. Spoke to the owner and they told me that they don't allow kids Friday and Saturday nights because the black lights aren't safe. Then on the website says now offering black light throwing with kids! Not sure what their rules are or why they decided to turn our group away. What I do know is I will never go back after the way we were treated. Good luck staying in business. read more

We stopped in here last minute today at the end of a long week of vacation activities. Bird was absolutely amazing and welcoming to us. She was patient and supportive. My mom was struggling for a bit, but bird was right there the whole time offering instructions until mom was feeling confident. This has been on my bucket list for so long, and I'm glad I checked it off here. This place is a hidden gem in the rogue valley. If you are nearby and do not stop in you are missing out. Cascadia Axe Co is an awesome business. For many people I know there's this stigma that Axe throwing is somehow dangerous or really only a niche sport, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Not only is it accessible to anyone, but fun and safe as well. The first time I went there the staff was super friendly and within moments my wife and I were feeling pretty bad-axe (sorry for the terrible pun). Not only did they teach us the basics, but continued to check in on us offering us helpful tips on how to improve our throwing and encouraged us all the meanwhile. I enjoyed it so much I actually got a membership and joined the league that they host. I've brought over a dozen friends to this place so they could check it out and without fail every single one of my friends had an amazing time and a few have even bought memberships. They not only have extremely well upkept clean lanes, they also serve bottled drinks, and have a place upstairs to host parties or play games. In addition to all of this they have a handful of artisanal crafts for sale like hand forged axes, cutting boards, and custom knives. They've also done a great job keeping things open and safe during the pandemic without any of it getting in the way of having fun.
