I called and was able to get an appointment very easily; this office is great about working you in. Heck, you don't even need to really make an appointment; you can just call on your way in and say I am coming in! The first visit was pretty practical for a Chiropractor visit- go over what chiropractic care is, why it helps, x-rays, some range of motion tests, etc. Although, this office is a bit different than most chiropractors I have seen. Dr. Mike's office is one big open area. There is a private room but it isn't really used unless you are meeting with Dr. Mike to go over x-rays, etc. However, I am sure you can request to get adjusted in the private room if you aren't comfortable. The very next day, after my initial appointment, I went back to go over my x-rays with Dr. Mike and we started my treatment plan (2-3 times a week, neck traction exercises, wiggle chairs). Dr. Mike also has a massage table that you can lie on anytime you wish. I also get ultrasound done. It's been easy ever since! Not only does Dr. Mike do "regular" Chiropractic care, he is very knowledgeable about nutrition and other aspects of health. He offers a nutrition class (I believe) twice a month in the evenings. He also attends a lot of health fairs and other events to educate the community on the importance of chiropractic care. Their prices are very reasonable and they are very easy to work with on payment plans, insurance or whatever. My husband and I have been going to see Dr. Mike since we moved here in May and we are still going regularly to get our adjustments! When I called for an initial evaluation, they had time available that same day, and the doctor spent 30 minutes asking me questions and explaining how the body works. He also wrote down instructions for icing parts of my body and said a monthly visit would be sufficient unless I needed some thing earlier.
