They hired the event coordinator who managed the event and the DJ who played EDM tunes all night. It was like Echostage and a ramen restaurant fused together during one evening for an incredibly fun night filled with great people and greater food. The event itself was well paced; the main lights were dimmed as the DJ played tracks to create a "nightlife" ambiance. IVEA Restaurant Group did an excellent job at keeping the crowd engaged by conducting an educational intro about the inspiration behind the restaurant's concept and its humble beginnings. There was also a soba making presentation that gave me a deeper appreciation for the pain-staking efforts that go into making ramen and soba noodles in-house. There was an interactive photobooth (provided by Honey booth) with cute props that you can choose from. We were able to select from multiple filters and take both photos and boomerangs. You can send both photos and videos to either your e-mail address or cell phone. This was a memorable event and I hope to attend more soon.

I'd previously attended last year's Great Grapes! and made it a point to attend this year. After winning some choice tickets at a Yelp Elite event, I was super stoked to be in the building once more. From Linganore to St. Michael's. From Dry Reds to Sweet Table wines, Great Grapes had every wine connoisseurs taste buds covered. One of the great things I love about this festival is the food portion. I tried a few great cheeses as well as caught a few food demos. It also didn't hurt I made several awesome food rubs courtesy of one of the awesome tents. It helped that this year it was not as hot as last year. The weather was perfect and so was my day!

First things first, the park, Oregon Ridge is just beautiful, the vistas are amazing! It is large and family friendly. The festival itself had just about every winery that you could imagine, awesome tastings, cool food, dessert vendors, and amazing crafts. The VIP tent added that extra special touch with seating, private tastings and yummy treats. I can't wait to come back next year, and just lounge!

I was impressed that all patient visits to doctors and staff are free of charge. They don't ask insurance questions at all! Just what is your health problem! They won't charge your insurance or Medicare/ cad even if you have it! This reminds me of when I was visiting family in Switzerland and hurt my back. Not only was I seen within a few days there was no mention of payment. I just saw the doctor and left! I will never forget that and ADG is exactly like that. However I did not visit there for the health services, it was for the senior center . It was a Saturday and the seniors were Indian American. What a lively crowd! Many were standing in conversations with live music going on in the back of the room. A young Indian singer belting out lively songs and boom boxes and sound system in the back of the room made me want to dance! And I don't mean slow dancing! It was a party atmosphere and I understand it's always like that! I have been to other senior centers, most are pretty subdued. Not this!! Some have live music but music alone does not make a place upbeat. It's the members that do. Everyone seemed happy - lots of discussions going on! I want to give a shout out to Mr. Modi, I believe he is the manager or coordinator of the operation, and his wife Sangeeta. Mr Modi was working the room like an MC; making sure everyone was happy at the Senior Center and that everything was going smoothly in the Health center. I saw him successfully resolving issues which with so many people there, and issues are bound to come up! Sangeeta was also taking care of the huge crowd- there must have been about 120-150. She also answered attendees questions to their satisfaction . Like I said everyone was happy!, smiling and conversing! Sangeeta is also an excellent cook and I devoured an Indian dish made of okra and other vegetables and roti bread. I would highly recommend ADG to everyone! For both their health clinic and Senior Center! The Senior center is in the same "room" or should I say entrance as the health clinic.

After the inspection, he gave me a detailed explanation of the current state of the carpet, and what service(s) he recommended to give it an effective cleaning. The actual cleaning was done quietly and efficiently. To be honest, the carpet looked almost brand new after he was done (keep in mind that this is an old wall-to-wall carpet. After the cleaning, he gave additional instructions on how to care for the carpet, along with additional items. Suffice to say, I was very impressed with everything and will be using and recommending Clawson Chem-Dry in the future.

We were invited to the Top of the World Observatory on November 1 for the big announcement from the Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts. Denise Koch from WJZ-TV was the master of ceremonies for the ceremony. Donna Drew Sawyer, CEO of BOPA, announced the combination of two great Baltimore events - the Baltimore Book Festival and Light City. The two events will come together as one from November 1 to November 10, 2019. Mayor Catherine Pugh offered her support and enthusiasm for this combining of efforts to further benefit the city of Baltimore. Can you imagine being at the Top of The World Observatory on November 1st with sunshine and 70 degree temperatures outside? It was just glorious! The views of the Baltimore harbor and beyond were just spectacular.
